Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) cell at I.T.S Mohan Nagar (UG Campus) organized
an insightful Expert Talk on “Successful Cooperative Business Models” on 11th February
2026 in collaboration with the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI). The session was
delivered by Mr. Ritesh Dey, Executive Director, NCUI, and Mr. Anant Dubey, Deputy
Director, NCUI. The event was coordinated by Dr. Neerja Anand and Prof. Purnima Raina.
The program commenced with the felicitation of the distinguished guests, setting a respectful
and enthusiastic tone for the session.
During the session, the experts elaborated on the concept of cooperative societies as sustainable
and inclusive business models. They explained how cooperative enterprises convert skills into
ideas and ideas into collective benefits, ensuring shared growth and democratic participation.
The speakers highlighted:
 The process of forming and registering cooperative societies
 The role of NCUI as the apex body supporting cooperatives across states
 The importance of structured governance and objective-driven member participation
 Examples of successful cooperatives, including long-standing cooperative models in
states like Gujarat
 Employment generation and equitable distribution of responsibilities in the initial stages
of cooperative formation
The speakers emphasized that cooperative models empower communities by pooling resources,
skills, and funds to achieve common economic and social objectives. They also discussed how
youth can actively participate in forming innovative cooperatives in emerging sectors.
Dr. Nancy Sharma, Principal, I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus, also addressed the gathering
and enlightened students about the importance of cooperatives in nation-building and
economic empowerment. She explained that cooperatives not only promote entrepreneurship
and self-reliance but also create employment opportunities, encourage ethical business practices,
and ensure inclusive growth. She motivated students to explore cooperative ventures as a viable
career and business option that aligns profit with social responsibility.
The session concluded with an engaging interaction round, where students actively participated
and clarified their queries regarding cooperative registration, governance, and funding
mechanisms.
The event ended on a note of gratitude as Dr. Nancy Sharma honored the esteemed speakers
with a Plaque of Honor, appreciating their valuable insights and contribution.
The expert talk proved to be highly informative and inspiring, equipping students with practical
knowledge about cooperative business models and their transformative potential in today’s
economy.

Mr. Anurag Sharma Alumnus BBA (Batch 2016-19) started the talk by differentiating
corporate life from college life. He urged students to be positive and be true to themselves.
He told how students can prepare themselves today by taking the advantage of various
opportunities and skill enhancement programme offered by I.T.S.
He emphasized on the skills required to be fit for the corporate. Besides, he shared his
experience regarding Internship opportunities provided by the Institute. He suggested the
students to go for Internship which will prove, a good learning opportunity for them. Overall,
the session was a good learning opportunity for the students.

The LoE exchange marked the formal launch of this academic–industry partnership, focused
on enhancing students’ employability and professional skills.
The event was graced by Mr. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group;
Mr. Sachin Sharma and Mr. Hridayankur Dev Sarma, Associate Directors, KPMG –
India; and Dr. Nancy Sharma, Principal, I.T.S (UG Campus).
The session provided key insights into industry expectations and future-ready skills, with
active student participation. The collaboration reinforces the institute’s strong academia–industry connect.

The primary objective of this event was to create awareness among students about different types of
cancer, their early symptoms, preventive measures and the importance of timely diagnosis. The activity
aims to encourage a healthy lifestyle, dispel myths related to cancer, and promote social responsibility
among students. As healthcare advancements continue to evolve, the conversation around cancer
becomes not just a medical one but a human one, rooted in empathy, resilience and community support.
Keeping these thoughts in mind this activity was organized. Participants presented informative and
impactful posters highlighting cancer awareness, prevention methods and the importance of timely
medical care. Among the participants Rashi - BBA 1 year, Prachi Parashar - BCA 1year and Vansh
Sharma - BBA II year won the first ,second and third prize respectively.

Description: HR Hurdles was a case study–based competition designed to test participants’
analytical thinking, decision-making, and practical HR knowledge. The competition
simulated real-world HR challenges where students were required to analyse situations,
identify key problems, and propose effective HR-oriented solutions within a limited time
frame.
The case studies covered important HR domains such as talent management, employee
engagement, conflict resolution, organizational behaviour, performance management, ethical
dilemmas in HR, and strategic HR decision-making. This event aimed to bridge the gap
between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling students to experience real
corporate HR scenarios.
Students enthusiastically took part in the competition. The participants showcased excellent
problem-solving skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication abilities. The
competition witnessed active participation, healthy competition, and insightful discussions,
making it a highly engaging and learning-oriented event.
The judging panel evaluated participants on the basis of problem analysis, feasibility of
solutions, presentation skills, clarity of thought, and overall approach. The winners and
runner-up teams were appreciated and felicitated for their outstanding performance.

I.T.S - UG Campus has organized Alumni Talk on 05.02.26 for BCA I year batch 2025-28.
Mr. Alok Dwivedi of BCA 2011-14 batch was invited as guest speaker on speak on
topic Emerging Technologies: Future Ready Skills & Technologies.
The objective of this Alumni Talk was to give an opportunity to meet BCA I year
students with a senior BCA pass out who can share his valuable experience with
them.
Mr. Alok Dwivedi, Manager at Deloitte Noida shared his inspiring journey from
campus life to a successful corporate career. He discussed the wide range of
career opportunities available after BCA, including software testing,
development, quality assurance, automation, and emerging technology domains.
He emphasized the importance of building strong fundamentals, gaining hands-
on technical skills, and continuously upgrading oneself to stay relevant in the IT
industry. He also highlighted the role of certifications, internships, and
professional attitude in career growth. The session concluded with an
interactive question-and-answer round where students actively participated and
sought guidance on career planning, skill development, and industry
expectations. Overall, the session was informative, motivating, and highly
beneficial for the students.

year students with a senior BCA pass out who can share his valuable experience
with them.

Day 3 featured an insightful visit to NSDL, where Mr. Tanuoj Poddar conducted an
engaging session on financial literacy and market safety. Interactive quizzes and game-based
activities simplified concepts like financial fraud and money laundering.
All students received E-certificates, and goodies were awarded to top performers.
Post the academic session, students explored Mumbai’s iconic landmarks, beginning with the
Gateway of India and Marine Drive, experiencing the city’s history and scenic charm.
The visit to Colaba Market offered a vibrant cultural experience and a refreshing close to the

The Bharat Boudhik Examination 2026, focusing on Indian culture, values and traditional
knowledge systems was organized by Vidya Bharti Uchch Siksha Sansthan Nyas and Delhi
University.
Exam Mode: Offline (OMR + Written Answer Booklet)
Paper Pattern
 Part I: 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) out of 180 MCQs
 Part II: One descriptive question (20 marks, approx. 250 words) out of 6 questions.
