The students of the first year of BBA & BCA visited the plant and experienced the production.During plant visit the students learned about the historical development, objective, working style, distribution channel and production process of Bisleri in India. In the Conference Hall of the Company, a lecture was attended by the students wherein an overview of the Company from its inception to the current position in the market was given by the Staff members of the Company.
Students were quite enthusiastic during the visit. They appeared on time and were happy after visiting Bisleri plant. During the visit they learned a lot. They asked many questions from the experts and also replied to all the questions asked by the experts during lecture and plant visit. The experts explained the whole production process in detail and also threw a light on historical development of the company not only in India but also in abroad. Overall, the experience was very good.

Dr. REEMA THREJA is currently working as Associate Professor in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, University of Delhi. She has 16+ year of teaching experience.
As an Author she has authored several books with Oxford University Press, India and her books on Computer Fundamentals, C Programming, OOPS with C++, Data Structures, Data Warehousing, Python Programming are well-accepted across the globe.
The Objective of this guest lecture was to give opportunity to BCA students to interact with their favourite author and great teacher. This very important lecture was scheduled for students of BCA-I year.
More than 450 students attended the very knowledgeable session and appreciated it a lot.
Dr Reema Thareja explained very basic things in very interesting manner. She discussed about common mistakes that students make frequently while writing programs, popular error messages and logic development etc. She started with inspirational and valuable things which are useful for the students in their professional career to come. She also differentiated programming and efficient programming.
At the end, Dr. Thareja told students about the importance of learning programming & suggested how to get paid internships etc.

On 22nd September 2023, I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad had organized an Industrial Visit to Abilities India Piston & Rings (AIL) Ltd, Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh. Students of BBA & BCA stream visited the Plant and vividly experienced the production of piston and rings of various sizes. At the plant, students were briefed about the foundation, organization and operation of the AIL. Further they were escorted and demonstrated the various activities in the plant ranging from forging of aluminum, casting, cutting, fabrication, smoothing to finally quality checking. Students were quite inquisitive and they gained good knowledge from the visit. They acted well-mannered and obeyed instructions of the engineers and demonstrators with well behaviours.

BBA and BCA Batch (2023-26) students had the opportunity to visit the New Parliament Building in New Delhi on September 20, 2023. This visit was an enriching and educational experience for them. New Parliament Building reflects the aspirations of the "New Bharat" and fills every Indian with pride. The building is not only a symbol of modernity but also carries a sense of national pride. The students' visit was an "enriching experience filled with inquisition and knowledge as they were curious and eager to learn during their visit.
The students had the opportunity to explore various parts of the Parliament, including the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, which are the two houses of India's Parliament. The historic passage of the Women's Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha, with a resounding 454 votes in favor, showcased the progress towards gender equality in our nation. The passage of the Women's Reservation Bill was a historic moment that reminded us of the ongoing progress towards a more inclusive and equitable India." They also visited the Central Hall of the Parliament, a historically significant space, and the residence of General V.K. Singh.
The purpose of the visit was to help the students gain a better understanding of how the Indian Parliament functions. The Parliament is described as the "supreme legislative body of the Republic of India," and this visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into its operations. This visit was not just a field trip; it was a journey of learning, inquiry, and a deeper connection to our country's legislative system."

The e-cell ‘Lakshya’ of I.T.S UG Campus facilitated an online session on the “Role of students in empowering cooperatives through NCUI Haat Portal” organized by NCUI, New Delhi for BBA & BCA students on Sept. 14, 2023.

Objective: The objective of this awareness program was to enlighten the students about the role and contribution of Cooperative Societies in nation building and as a medium to connect with the grassroot level. The second objective was to make the students aware of the seller registration option that is available on NCUI Haat Portal.
Description: Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Director Coop connect, NCUI- a flagship unit of Ministry of Cooperation, GOI, briefed the students about the history and contribution of cooperative societies in India post-independence and how it is shaping the lives of the craftsmen, artisans, farmers through the utilization of their skills. Mr. Sumit Singh, Advisor, NCUI in his address elaborated on how cooperatives are a medium to enhance the economic condition of the rural people by providing them money for their products and involving them in nation building. Later, he gave a demonstration of the NCUI Haat Portal, exhibiting various handmade products under multiple categories, on display at the portal. He also gave a glimpse of the user-friendly registration process for Sellers from different regions to list their products on the portal. Mr. Rajeev Sharma later urged the students to make use of the initiatives of NCUI and empower the cooperatives through their continued support.

Day 5th of orientation program of BBA/BCA (28th Batch) (2023-2025) Alumni Panel discussion was organized. Director UG and IT Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey in his welcome address said "Let's begin with the idea of illumination. As you embark on this academic journey, remember your parents' significant investment in your education.
Mr. Abhay Mathur, Alumnus BBA (2013-2016), Team Manager Central Operation Planning – Flipkart, He emphasizes on attainment of practical skills to become successful in corporate. He also discussed about how one should learn from failures and come up with better plan to become successful in life
Ms. Dilisha Menon, Alumnus BBA (2014-2017), Strategy & Impact Consultant, Ernst & Young brings a perspective that highlights the importance of balance in this phase of life. She focused on to set priorities in life. She emphasizes the significance of setting targets, which can range from modest to ambitious. She said that We should be humble, supportive and have respect to our elders. We should do something for society also. She also talked about institute that ITS has a track record of placing graduates in prestigious companies, offering diverse job opportunities.
Mr. Lakshay Bhatnagar, Alumunus of BBA Batch (2016-2019) Area Manager, Godfrey Phillips India in his address advised that we should not only focus on academics but also on co- curricular activities, it will be helpful in building confidence, public speaking and personality development. He told that we should always have some time for hobby so that we can come up with stressful life.
Mr. Anurag Sharma, Alumunus of BBA Batch (2016-2019) Manager Customer Relations JLL, in his address advised that having a clear goal in the academic journey is essential. It provides direction and purpose to your studies. He said that striking a balance between enjoyment and academic responsibilities is crucial. He focused that you should never give up even in worse condition, you should take it as challenge and give your 100% to come out from that kind of situations.
" Mr. Devindra Singh , Alumnus BCA (2000-2003), Head - IT & Infrastructure, Sinch India, a prominent figure in our industry, acknowledges the remarkable strides that ITS has taken over time. He emphasizes the pivotal role of India in the global context, being the fifth-largest economy worldwide.
" Ms. Mansi Khanna, Alumnus BCA (2008-2011), Team Lead, Tech Assurance, Ameriprise Financial brings a perspective that highlights the importance of balance in this phase of life. It's a time to have fun and cherish your college experience, but it's also a critical period to shape your career path. She emphasizes the significance of setting targets, which can range from modest to ambitious. ITS has a track record of placing graduates in prestigious companies, offering diverse job opportunities.
Mr. Alok Dwivedi, Alumunus of BCA Batch (2011-2014)Deputy Manager, Johnson Controls India in his address advised that having a clear goal in the academic journey is essential. It provides direction and purpose to your studies. Secondly, while we all enjoy our time as students, it's equally important not to neglect our studies. Striking a balance between enjoyment and academic responsibilities is crucial. Lastly, it's great to know that there's open communication with the faculty.
Mr. Yatendra Tomar, Alumni BCA (2012-2015) Sub Inspector, Surveillance, Chowki Incharge, Modinagar UP Police, shared his remarkable experiences in the IT field, offering us valuable insights. Mr. Tomar's journey included a pivotal moment when he was selected for a placement at Wipro. However, he made a choice that many may not understand – he declined the opportunity as his passion lies in solving people's problems, and he values the freedom to do so without constraints. Moreover, he shed light on the fascinating intersection of the IT sector and the police force. The ability to trace IP addresses and tackle hacking is becoming increasingly crucial in law enforcement. Mr. Tomar also generously shared insights into the process of applying for the UP police, a journey he undertook, even if it meant leaving his family behind. His story serves as a testament to dedication, determination, and the sacrifices made on the path to success. We're truly privileged to have heard from him today.

Day 4th of orientation program of BBA/BCA (28th Batch) (2023-2025) was started with the some fun activities for the students in the form of Management games which included presentation game conducted in a group of 7 students to familiarize each other and the other activities were to identify the words and balloon game. It was designed by Prof. Divya Gupta, wonderfully & executes by all the faculty members with the help of student volunteers. In another part different activities by Clubs and societies were also organized in which students participated with full zeal and enthusiasms.
The auditorium was abuzz with excitement as students gathered to hear from an esteemed IIT speakers about the fascinating world of Virtual Lab Development. They provided a comprehensive overview of the process, emphasizing the importance of this cutting-edge initiative. Chairperson BCA Dr. Vidushi Singh and Prof. Varun Arora, Coordinator - Virtual Lab welcomed the guest. Ms. Suman Tripathi Works As A Senior Project Associate At Virtual Labs, IIT Kanpur began by explaining the meticulous process behind developing virtual labs. The key steps include:
• Methodology for New Experiments: The foundation of virtual labs lies in developing innovative experiments and methodologies.
• Proof of Concept: Ensuring the feasibility of these experiments.
• Selection of Virtual Lab: Choosing the most suitable virtual lab for implementation.
• Protocol Standardization: Establishing standardized protocols for consistency.
• Virtualization: Converting physical experiments into virtual formats.
• Software Evaluation: Rigorous assessment of software for optimal functionality.
She also briefed about internship requirements as well. Mr. Vinay Kumar Tripathi, Senior Project Associate At Virtual Labs, IIT Kanpur briefed about Internship Requirements. To drive this initiative forward, specific skills are required. The audience learned that prospective interns should possess proficiency in HTML, CSS, and coding. These skills are fundamental to shaping the virtual lab experience.
This move signifies the growing recognition of the importance of virtual labs in modern education.

Day-3 Orientation Programme PRARAMBH-2023 held on 06th September 2023. A Motivational Session was organized by Mr. Author Sherry- An International Public Speaking Coach. Mr. Author Sherry explained various success mantras that person should follow to become successful in life like
1. Surround yourself with positive people.
2. Formal education will make you a living but self education will make you fortune
3.Don’t talk and take massive action.
4. Read Good Books
5. Be a proud indian and make india proud
6. The more and more deeper you get into the subject you will find success.
7. Mindset is the best to separate the rest. We should opt growing mindset rather than fixed one.
8. Self love is important
Students thoroughly enjoyed this lecture. Mr. Author Sherry inspired the students to put in a lot of effort, and helped them stay on target & work harder to achieve their goals.
Mr. Shankar Goenka, Managing Director, Wow Factors India Pvt Ltd was the eminent speaker on Day 3 of the Orientation Programme Prarambh 2023. A few guru mantras were shared by our honourable guest. He said that it's not important how you make communication with others but how you make connections with others. Another guru mantra shared by him is you are the one who's going to decide in what field you're good at and do hard work, no one dies because of hard work but I've seen people dying because of not doing anything, do the work you're passionate about and now many people find it difficult how to find what their passion, what they're passionate about so do the work which you can do for regular 15 to 18 hours a day without being tired, the work you do within being a flow of continuous making, without getting tired of that's what is your passion.
Apart from these amazing, and motivating points with our students like Reading self-improvement books., Use your time in an extremely creative way, read people's behaviour, learn how they behave and learn to read people, know how an organization works, how people in an organization behave, Don't be afraid of failure, and public speaking, learn how to state your point in front of anyone, Learn not to surrender because it is the easiest job in the world If you're a companion of others don't leave them, support each other and be together, GROW TOGETHER. Not taking risks is the biggest risk, If you try you may fall but if you don't try you've already fallen, Don't hesitate to pursue your inner gut, Don't blame anyone including you, and Don’t do anything because of fear, do things with your passion, inner guts.

The grand Inaugural Ceremony of 05 Days Orientation Program for 28th Batch of BBA course (2023-26) held in Chanakya Auditorium of the Institute on Tuesday, 5th September 2023 in august presence of eminent guests to bless, address and interact with newly admitted students: Mr. Ashutosh Chadha- Director & Country Head, Government Affair & Public Policy Microsoft.
The program was Started with the lamp lighting by our above-mentioned dignitaries and taking blessing of Maa Sarasvati. Sh Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S - The Education Group, Sh. Surender Sood, Director PR, I.T.S- The Education Group, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director (IT & UG) ,Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal (UG).
On the occasion, Prof Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal, UG Campus gave an overview of the various academic, non-academic opportunities available for the all-round development of the students at UG campus. She said that every student joins I.T.S with the objective of becoming successful professional and I.T.S provides precise environment which facilitates the students to achieve that objective. She congratulated all the students for selecting I.T.S as the destination for beginning new chapter of their life.
Director-IT & UG, Dr Sunil Kumar Pandey briefed the students about contribution of I.T.S from the last 28 years in producing the budding managers and IT professionals. He said that getting placed in a company of repute is dream of every student joining I.T.S, their dreams come true as we provide placements in best of the companies like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, Lenskart, Zomato, Amazon etc. He advised the students to enjoy growth of the investment they made by taking admission at I.T.S.
Director-PR, Sh. Surender Sood briefed the students about contribution of Parents and teacher in making students life. Sir Addressed the students of having a specific goal in life and start planning from the very beginning to achieve these goals.
Sh Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman I.T.S – The Education Group, in his address advised all the newly admitted students to have their own goals. Sir, asked the objective of some of the students behind joining undergraduate program at ITS. He was of the view that one should not be carried away with the success or failure of others. He advised students to grab various opportunities at I.T.S. There should not be full stop to learning. Students felt motivated as all participated actively by answering the questions asked by respected Sir.
Mr. Ashutosh Chadha – He gave wishes to whole ITS Family. The foundation of ITS that made the platform for the great learning of students. Sir further mentioned that his statement links with vision and mission of Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey Sir. Sir made practical statement that once student will pass out of this campus then what their level and status will be. He also focused on learning from values adhered by the students in each aspect of life. . He said that one should have attitude of gratitude and should be thankful for what one has, one will end up having more. Sir also briefed 4 magical words that we should follow in life i.e How can I Help, Sir advised some tips which we need to follow in life like Be Hungry, Be Afraid, Be Supportive and do some positive things about society
All the dignitaries congratulated the newly admitted students for selecting the best institute i.e I.T.S, for pursuing their professional degree course and wished them for a bright future ahead.
At the end all the dignitaries were given a vote of thanks by BBA 1st year coordinator- Prof. Vikas Kumar.
In the second phase of the program BBA Course Chairperson showed presentation and gave a vast introduction about the course and campus as well. Students were given introduction of all the clubs as well by the club coordinates.
And fortunate students were also given the introduction of the faculty members of overall BBA course. This was further followed by various beautiful dance performances, a theoretical act full of comedy and humour, and at the end a singing band.
The role of clubs and societies in a student’s life was also briefed. Overview of clubs and societies was given with the help of dance performance and a skit presented by Theatre club.
Students really got to learn various things and also enjoyed a lot.
