As part of our Wednesday Classroom Activity for BCA First Year, an exciting AI-driven
Activity “Peer Learning Session on "Canva & other Video Editing Tools" was conducted
by the students of BCA II and III year
The objective of this peer learning session is to equip participants with practical skills in
using Canva and other video editing tools to create high-quality visual content. The
session was designed to introduce and train 1st-year BCA students in Canva, focusing on
photo editing, resume creation, poster design, and video editing. Its goal is to improve their
design and editing abilities, essential for both academic and professional presentations.
Senior students offered practical demonstrations and hands-on training to facilitate effective
learning.
The session covered key features, design principles, and advanced editing techniques to
enhance creativity and efficiency. Participants explored tools for graphic design, video
transitions, animations, and audio integration. Through hands-on practice and
collaborative learning, attendees gained knowledge and confidence in designing social media
content, presentations, resume and promotional videos. By the end of the session, participants
were able to produce visually appealing content that meets professional and personal
creative needs. All the speakers were felicitated by the Certificate of Appreciation.
The activity followed a structured approach to ensure its alignment with learning
outcomes:
1. An introduction to Canva & other Video Editing Tools, Slides go, Tome were given to the
students that simplify the creation of presentations.
2. Using “Canva & other Video Editing Tools”, students were tasked with creating a
presentation/Poster with well-organized slides, engaging content, and an appropriate design
theme
3. Once the work was prepared, students delivered their presentations in front of their peers.
4. Students provided constructive feedback on the Session. This evaluation focused on the
quality of the learning.

I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized One Day Entrepreneurship Awareness
Programme sponsored by DC (MSME), New Delhi, Ministry of Micro, Small &
Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India for BBA & BCA I Year on Feb 18, 2025 under the
aegis of Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). Around 250 BBA & BCA Students
attended the Workshop. The Programme included different sessions conducted by officials
from MSME. The first session was taken by Dr. H N Pandey, Consultant, Ministry of
MSME, Govt. of India. He told student participantsabout MSME, its importance and how it
helps budding entrepreneurs to make a successful enterprise. He helped students by making
themunderstand an entrepreneurial mindset which focusing on creativity, problem-solving,
and risk-taking.
Second Session was taken by Dr. Anil Roy Dubey, Former Vice Chancellor, Lingay's
University, Faridabad-Resource Person for Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. He informed
students about MSME official Website and different Govt sites, which provides the
knowledge and details to start the enterprises. He further talked about RTI, International
Labour Operations, Corruption Index, etc.
The next session was conducted by Mr. Y K Sharma, Chief Manager, National Small
Industries Corporation Ltd. (A Government of India Enterprise), under Ministry of
MSME, Govt. of India. He gave insights related to different schemes of MSME. He also
talked about how to get funding for new business and eligibility criteria for funding.
The last session taken by Mr. Alankar Ganguly, Director-Digital Marketing, Covalent
Softwares Pvt. Ltd.- Successful Entrepreneur-Resource Person for Ministry of MSME,
Govt. of India, discussed about the challenges an entrepreneur faces and how these
challenges can be overcome. He also conducted a quiz to make student more interactive in
the session. Overall students gained awareness of entrepreneurship and had a great learning
experience. All participants were motivated to pursue their business ideas, translating knowledge
into action.

Institution’s Innovation Council at ITS Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad organized two Guest lectureson
February 17, 2025,on the topic Social Entrepreneurs and its Impact on Society and
Entrepreneurship Opportunities in Visual Mediafor the BBA II yearStudents which was
attended by 250 students.
 The primary objective of guest lecturers was to enthuse practical knowledge related to the
subject Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management and obtain insights about social
entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial opportunities.
 Students had actionable insights and a roadmap to launch or scale their ventures in the social
Entrepreneurship.
The session was led by Ms Alisha Vijoy, Senior Vice President -Jan Sharnam NGO, CSR and
Communication Consultant Tapas Foundation,Sachhi Saheli and Niswarth Kadam and Mr.
Arpit Singhal, President-FFEOC, Mentor and Mascot Indian Film Federation with focused and
valuable insights.

 Challenges in Social Entrepreneurship
 Insights from successful social enterprises.
 Lessons learned from failures and challenges.
 Identifying problems and validating solutions.

The session on Entrepreneurshiphighlighted how businesses can drive social impact while
remaining financially sustainable. Key topics included characteristics of social entrepreneurs,
types of social enterprises, and challenges like balancing mission with profitability. Strategies for
success, such as leveraging technology, partnerships, and impact measurement, were discussed.
Real-world case studies provided insights and inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs.

This workshop aimed to provide participants with an excellent opportunity to enhance their
knowledge of IoT through the practical delivery of various topics by eminent speakers. The
topics included various applications of IoT in real-world scenarios, communication protocols,
Arduino, Generative AI, etc.
The inaugural ceremony started with an address from Prof (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Pandey,
Director, and I.T.S UG Campus. He told that the workshop integrates IoT, Generative AI,
and Engineering to provide BCA students with hands-on experience in innovative
applications. It enhances practical skills, interdisciplinary learning, and career prospects, while
fostering creativity, critical thinking, and employability.
Dr Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal, I.T.S UG Campus addressed the gathering where she
emphasized the students to Unlock their potential. She emphasized to join this exciting workshop
where students can learn to combine IoT, Generative AI, and Engineering to create
innovative solutions.
Dr. Barkha Kakkar, Coordinator of BCA 1st Year (Batch 2024 - 27) welcomed all to this
two-day workshop. She emphasized the students to gain hands-on experience in IoT, Generative
AI, and Engineering.
The workshop began with an insightful introduction by Dr. Anuradha Chug Associate
Professor USICT, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. She provided an
overview of key concepts in Introduction to IoT & Remote Sensing. Ms. Riya Rawal, Ms.
Chandni and Ms. Heena gave the practical demonstrations of connecting temperature,
humidity, and motion sensors to micro-controllers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
On the first day, they explained how data is collected from sensors and transmitted to cloud
platforms for analysis and given tasks the students for developing small IoT-based projects using
the provided kits.
On the second day, they explained the GSM architecture, protocols, and its role in mobile
communication, demonstrated the AI-based automation in mobile networks and its impact on
telecommunications and gave hands-on training / practical session where participants
experimented with AI models and GSM - based communication.

With an objective to enhanced cybersecurity awareness and technical skills among students a Cybersecurity Training for Educators & Students of Higher Education under Microsoft Philanthropies in association with ICT Academy has successfully conducted at UG Campus of Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad from 3rd February, 2025 to 14th February,2025 for the 60 students of BCA Batch 2022-2025. This initiative focused on building a strong foundation in cybersecurity practices to address the increasing risks of cyber threats in the education sector.
Mr. UsamaTabish was the resource person for this 70 Hours Training program. During these 10-days training program, participant got exposure of hands-on experience on Network Security Threats and Countermeasures, Cryptography and Web Server & Application Security. All the participants had undergone with two assessments for completion of this certification program.
On the last day of training program, a valedictory session was scheduled in the presence of Director-IT & UG, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Vice-Principal UG Campus, Dr. Nancy Sharma, SPOC- ICT, Prof. Saurabh Saxena and the resource person Mr. Usama Tabish. Director-IT & UG, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey shared that such initiatives play a vital role in the career of students. In his address he appreciated the effort of resource person & congratulated the participants on successful completion of training program. Vice-Principal UG Campus, Dr. Nancy Sharma also congratulated the participants and shared the importance of cyber security in today’s world. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Saurabh Saxena.

I.T.S. Mohan Nagar UG Campus Students participated in the Spardhaa’25- the Annual Sports fest of
Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women (affiliated to DU) on 13.02.2025 &
14.02.2025. Total 21 students of BCA & BBA participated in Badminton, Chess, Kho-Kho and Table
Tennis. Our students, Janvi Singh (BCA 1st year), Khushi Motla (BCA 1st year), Aditya Vashishth
(BCA 1st year), Kartikey Pandey (BBA 1st year), Himanshu (BBA 1st year), Tushar Kumar (BBA 1st
year), Mayank Kohli (BCA 1st Yr), Aman Kumar (BCA 2nd Year), Yash Upadhyay (BCA 2nd Year),
and Akash Sharma (BCA 2nd Year) participated in Badminton. In Kho-Kho, our students team
members Priyanshu (BBA 1st year), Firoj Khan (BBA 1 st year), Deepanshu (BCA 1st Yr), Prateek
(BCA 1 st Yr), Mohit Kumar (BCA 1st Yr), Lucky (BCA 1st Yr) and Satyam (BCA 1st Yr) gave tough
fight to competitors. Our BCA 2 nd year Students, Garv Sharma and Chaitanya participated in the event
chess. BCA Final year students, Jatin Verma and Aatif Hashmi participated in Table Tennis. The
students competed with premier institutes including Deshbandhu College, Maharaja Agrasen College,
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Indira Gandhi Technical University, Maharaja Surajmal Institute
Delhi, and other Premier colleges of DU & IP and had a great learning experience.

thinking, develop dynamic approach, and promote public speaking &self-confidence.
Students enthusiastically participated in the event from all years of BBA and BCA. Mr.
Kaushlesh Aggarwal (BCA III yr), Ms. Khushboo Verma (BBA II yr) and Ms. Ananya Gupta
(BCA III year) won the first, second and third prize respectively.

The Literary Club of ITS Mohan Nagar successfully organized "Spell Bee (Hindi)," an intra-college competition for BBA and BCA students. The event was held on February 11, 2025, at 2:30 PM in UG I Block, Room No. 5 & 6.The event provided a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate their proficiency in the Hindi language, specifically focusing on dictation, vocabulary, and literary skills.
Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their dedication to mastering the art of writing in Hindi correctly and beautifully. The competition underscored the importance of language in fostering cultural understanding and strengthening national unity.
The primary motive behind the event was to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their vocabulary and literary skills while instilling a love for the beauty of language.Merit and participation certificates were awarded to the top performers and participants to recognize their efforts. The event was a grand success, thanks to the hard work of the faculty coordinators and the enthusiasm of the students
