The key resource person was Ms. Rashi Paliwal, HRBP, Sales & Talent Manager, Haworth India Pvt Ltd, US MNC, Gurgaon.
She led a stimulating and educational workshop for students who are just beginning their professional course of study. Through a variety of activities, participants gained an understanding of all facets of personality during the programme. A variety of topics were covered in this workshop module, including leadership, communication, attitude, and confidence-building, all of which will help them deal with obstacles they may encounter in the real world.
In addition to discovering their latent talents, the programme helped participants feel happy and revitalised on a mental and emotional level. The occasion concluded with a sense of pursuit delight.

The eminent guest of the day was Shri. Vinay Kumar Singh (SDM Ghaziabad) who raised awareness among students about voting that leads to better governance.

The Objective of this session was to spread awareness about voting rights among BBA & BCA students of Batch (2023-26) and Batch (2022-25). Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal UG in her welcome address briefed that Everyone has the right to vote. By voting, you can create change and make a difference in the community. Shri Vinay Kumar Singh, SDM Ghaziabad, created awareness among the students regarding the importance of the electoral system and to enhance student’s participation in the voting system. He told the students that your anticipation is highly needed for the developing country. He told the students that under 18-22 age group. There are 2 lakh people and only 12 thousand are registered voters. He highlighted how Election Commission is making efforts to ensure participation by each voter specifically the elderly and disable people. He encouraged students to go through American Revolution or French Revolution for Independence. He created awareness about eligibility criteria to vote and how students can vote in Ghaziabad though they have voter ID of their native places. He told students to apply on voter helpline app or through offline forms and be a responsible citizen of India. Dr. Vidushi Singh introduced the students about the session and said voting is an integral part of democracy, and it is necessary for people to have a voice. . The session ended with a thank you note by Prof. Aadil Khan.

I.T.S. Mohan Nagar UG Campus Students participated in the Varchaswa, Media fest of Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies (Affiliated to GGSIPU) on 06th & 07th 2023. Students of BBA & BCA Courses (Shivalika Kaushik, Dhruv Rawat, Monu, December Dipender Singh, Harsh Mehra, Anmol Jain, Amit Anish, Yahvardhan, Anuj Kanojia, Gurpreet Singh, Sakshi Sharma, Sarthak Sharma, Vaibhav Bisht, Sonam Pal, Tanya Bharadwaj, Harsh Sharma) participated in the Street Play & Poetry Competition. The students competed with the students of Lady Shree Ram College, Mata Sundari College, Shivaji College, Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, NDIM, DME and other premier DU & IP Colleges.
The students were excited and performed exceptionally well. The crowd cheered them up while performing. They also learned from other competitors.

The idea of the visit was to expose the young minds to the current economic situations and future agenda. The central theme of the event was “Road map to the five Trillion economy of India: Opportunities and challenges.”
Students of BBA 3rd semester and BCA 1st semester participated in the visit. The "India Economic Summit 23" event organized by R. Bharat was witnessed live by students, who saw the difference between a chat programme and a broadcast. Every student had an exciting & inspiring experience. The event convened a notable assembly of renowned politician and Ministers, Investment experts, entrepreneurs, professionals who have established themselves throughout the years via their intellectual endeavours.
Students were enriched by the motivational speech of Union Minister Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri and Former CEO of Niti Aayog Mr. Amitabh Kant. The event was further carried by Mr. Amitabh Chaudhary, MD and CEO of Axis Bank, Ms. Sandhya Devnathan, Vice President and Head, Meta India, Aman Gupta, Co Founder and CMO of Boat Lifestyle and many more.
Students were enlightened and motivated to hear from every speaker there, even though they were unable to see him at the end of the programme owing to time constraints. Nevertheless, a plan to attend many more has been sparked by this India Economic Summit.
During the visit, the students showed a lot of enthusiasm. After going to see India Economic Summit, they were delighted. They gained a great deal of knowledge from the visit. Faculty members gave them discipline and they did what they were told. Everything about the trip was excellent.

Mr. Prateek Gupta was the Resource person of the workshop. This was a two days workshop for the BBA II year (2022-25) students.
The objective of this workshop was to learn the graphical representation of information and data in rows and columns. This workshop was intended to help students to learn how to transform data from an underutilized asset to a competitive advantage. Employees and business owners at every level need to have an understanding of data and its impact.
Students attended the knowledgeable session on Tableau. Program started with a welcome note by Prof. Kanika Tandon. She felicitated the Resource person with a sapling and sensitized the students for the workshop. Mr. Prateek Gupta, resource person started the interaction with the students. The session started with the brief introduction about the Tableau and its use for visualizing the data.
He explained the complex computations, data blending and dash boarding for creating the beautiful visualizations. He discussed the quick analysis and exploration of large and complex datasets using a drag-and-drop interface without requiring coding or programming skills. He also explained the drag-n-drop functionalities of Tableau and creation of a very interactive visual within minutes.
Tableau can connect to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, big data platforms, and cloud services. It also allows users to perform data cleaning and transformation tasks, create custom calculations, and generate insights using advanced analytics features.
Two days workshop was a good platform for the students to learn about Tableau. It ended with the certificate distribution to all the participants and vote of thanks by Prof. Aadil Khan, Chairperson BBA.

The objective of this workshop to give a hands-on development to their own mobile app. This workshop will help students to understand how the users interact with different apps. It will make them aware about how to create a user journey map. UI/UX design is an integral element in mobile app development cycle that emphasizes both the experience of users (UX) and the user interface (UI) designs of an application. It plays an essential role in crafting mobile applications which are visually appealing while still user-friendly, giving customers an enjoyable user journey.
The Workshop was organized for BBA Second year Students (2022-25 Batch) in association with Shape My Skills. The resource person of the workshop was Mr Aman Khan certified UI/UX and Digital Marketing trainer.
Workshop started with a welcome note by Prof. Aadil Khan (Chairperson of BBA Course). He invited the resource person of the workshop Mr Aman Khan for sharing the content on assigned topic.Students from all section participated in this workshop.

Shri. Shubham Patel ji (IPS- DCP, Trans Hindon Zone) was the Chief Guest of the session and Shri. Ramanand Kushwaha ji (ADCP-Traffic Ghaziabad) was the Special Guest of the session.

The Objective of this Police ki Pathshaala was to spread awareness about traffic rules and cyber-crimes to BBA & BCA students. The session was intended to motivate the students to follow traffic rules not only for the general safety of public but for their own safety as well. The session also aimed at providing valuable information about the increasing cyber-crimes and how the students can avoid such type of crimes. It highlighted the importance of net etiquettes and precautions required in today’s scenario in using social media and other apps.
This session was scheduled for students of BBA & BCA-I year.
More than 500 students attended the very knowledgeable session and appreciated it a lot.

Program started with a welcome note by Dr.Vidushi Singh, MOC of the event. She invited the dignitaries for lighting the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. It was followed by presentation of memento and sapling as a token of respect by Shri Surinder Sood Sir, Director PR to Shri. Shubham Patel ji (IPS- DCP, Trans Hindon Zone) and by Dr.Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director UG & IT to Shri Ramanand Kushwaha ji (ADCP-Traffic Ghaziabad).

The session begin with the brief introduction about the program “Police Ki Pathshala” by Ms.Nisha Thakur, reporter Amar Ujala Publication. MOC of the event Dr.Vidushi Singh Ji then invited Shri. Shubham Patel ji (IPS- DCP, Trans Hindon Zone) for his interaction with students. Mr. Patel shared information regarding the crimes taking place these days. He brings into light the changing face of Police Department and the increasing number of female police staff in the department in recent years and how the perception of public has changed positively towards police force post Covid times. He encouraged the students to follow law and order. He then asked the students to share their views about the major issues they face with regard to law and order and specially about crime against women. He also showed his gratitude towards the team of Amar Ujala Publication for this initiative.

MOC Dr.Vidushi Singh then invited Shri. Ramanand Kushwaha ji (ADCP-Traffic Ghaziabad) for his interaction with students. Mr.Kushwaha shared the facts and figures related to violation of traffic rules and how the youth can safe themselves and others from road accidents by following traffic rules. He told students about the 5 E’s of traffic management – Education, Encouragement, Enforcement, Evaluation and Engineering. He also enthusiastically answered the questions raised by students.

Dignitaries present during the session were Shri Surinder Sood Sir, Director PR, Dr.Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director UG & IT, Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal UG, Dr.Vidushi Singh, Chairperson BCA, Prof. Aadil Khan, Chairperson BBA and Prof.Monika Sharma, Media Coordinator. The session was also attended by the team of Amar Ujala Publication and faculty members of UG campus.
The session ended with a thank you note by the MOC Dr.Vidushi Singh.

Aaj Tak, India’s leading Hindi news channel returned with the new edition of its much acclaimed and well-accomplished literature festival, “SAHITYA AAJ TAK” (SAHITYA KE SITARON KA MAHAKUMBH).
As part of Aaj Tak's mission to emphasize the value of art and literature in today's society, Students of BBA/BCA (Batch: 2023-26) had an opportunity to attend a convergence of several literary forms, including poetry, prose, music, and theatre. The festival brought together a distinguished group of authors, musicians, actors, columnists, business executives, poets, and theatre artists who have earned a name for themselves throughout the years with their work.
The live performance by Jaya kishori ji, motivational speaker and spiritual orator, Manoj Bajpayee (Indian Bollywood actor), Anubhav Singh Bassi (actor & comedian), Nayab middha (poet & performer), Ashutosh Agnihotri (IAS & poet), Rajshri Deshpande (actor), Adarsh Gaurav(actor) and others was appreciated by the students.
Students were exposed to a variety of literary genres and it was overall a very positive and beneficial visit.

Objective:
The festival was titled as “Sahitya Aaj Tak”. The objective of the event was to give exposure to our students about art, literature, culture & music. “ Sahitya Aaj Tak” is a festival that is a melting pot of ideas, creativity, and inspiration. This event provides a platform for intellectual discussions, literary readings, and engaging conversations on a wide range of topics, including literature, culture, and societal issues. The festival continues to play a pivotal role in promoting the importance of literature and its enduring impact on society.
Description:
The students of BBA & BCA 3rd year participated in the visit .The event started at 10.00am at three different locations (stages). Stage-1 was called as “Halla Bol Chaupal”, Stage-2 was called as “Dustak Darbar” and Stage-3 was called as “Sahitya Tak”. In SAHITYA AAJ TAK students learned about Indian Art, culture, music and poetry. Program started with Shabdon ka karvaan – Mushaira by Hashim Firozabadi. Great Actors like Piyush Mishra were interviewed and students got to learn a lot about art and literature. Also, there was a musical concert by Osho Jain. He has a lot of following among the youth. There was a discussion on spirituality & culture, and the topic was addressed by speakers like Jagad Guru Ramanandacharya.
Students learnt about the rich cultural identity that we inherit. Students were enthusiastic during the visit. They were happy after seeing various performances. Students really appreciated the importance of literature in life. They were disciplined and followed instructions of the faculty members. Overall, the experience was very good.

The objective of this workshop was to give basic idea for developing applications for android to students. Mobile operating systems like Android are very useful for the development of various types of mobile applications.Mr. Pawan Sharma, Android Expert from ShapeMySkills Pvt. Ltd. was the trainer of this workshop. He started the workshop by giving the overview of android app development and its significance. During the workshop he has discussed about basic concepts and programming methodologies used in android environment. The first app developed by students was to display a simple message. From this they became familiar with how to create an app, and run the app. The second app developed by students was to display the contents in the text box as simple text. From this, they learnt how to use the components in the app development and also learnt to code for that app. Students also made the virtual assistant app and did hands on practices related to activity switching application, text to speech conversion, SQlite, locate location in map and many more.
