Today’s younger generation are striving to strike a delicate balance between career, society, family and peer pressure. In this predicament, the mentor serves as an objective confidant and advisor with whom the mentee may discuss work-related and other concerns related to career development.
The mentor is equipped with his experience and able to maneuver the student towards a positive orientation. The mentor provides guidance, support, and encouragement, and the mentee responds positively by learning and applying new skills and knowledge in ways that optimize success.
Mentees are encouraged to:

• Share information and ideas
• Continuously seek feedback in order to understand and clarify issues or questions
• Take the initiative to make things happen
