Finance Club - Finanaza of I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad, UG campus organizes an Educational visit to India International Trade Fair, New Delhi “BHARAT KA SHARE BAZAR” in Association with MCX for BBA Students on 20th November 2021.

The objective of this Educational visit was to make students aware about the basics and functionality of stock market. Representatives from MCX has presented small skit explaining not to share any personal banking details with anyone for completing KYC on call. A short puppet show was also organized which explains about the lodging of brokers’ complaint on scores.gov.in. They asked many questions from students and gave gifts for the correct answers. At the end, they gave a quiz wherein questions related to crossword puzzles, word search and match the correct answers were there. Students asked many questions related to stock market and were very happy with the session arranged by MCX.

ITS UG Campus organized Industry Visit in ITS, Muradnagar for Demonstration of CAD-CAM for BCA 2nd year students on November 16, 2021

The objective to organize this visit was to provide students an exposure about practical working environment of CAD-CAM technology and an opportunity to learn through interaction regarding its application in dental laboratories. BCA students of 2nd year attended the industrial visit to the ITS, Muradnagar. Mr. Sandeep Ghambhir gave a presentation related to the dental clinical cases along with their treatments and briefed students about the functionality of CAD-CAM machine. He also explained the students that CAD/CAM is an acronym for computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing. Used for decades in the manufacturing industry to produce precision tools, parts and automobiles. CAD/CAM technology and metal-free materials are used by dentists and dental laboratories to provide patients with milled ceramic crowns, veneers, onlays, inlays and bridges. Dental CAD/CAM also is used to fabricate abutments for dental implants, used to replace missing teeth. He also provide the scenario about that today’s CAD/CAM restorations are better-fitting, more durable and more natural looking (multi-colored and translucent, similar to natural teeth) than previously machined restorations. After that students were examined by the medical staff for their oral treatment also. Overall educational Trip to I.T.S Dental College, Muradnagar for Demonstration of CAD/CAM Technology for BCA 3rd Semester Students was a successful event.

The objective behind this visit was togive insights to our students about applications of technology in medical field. Students learned through this visit how to use CAD /CAM for better results in dental treatment. The session started with introduction about 3d scanning techniques to identify the reason behind dental diseases. Students also got the knowledge about various tools like checking the pressure,depth of teeth etc. used in dentistry. In the session all the students were provided with the free dental checkup. The session was very informative and will be helpful for students in correlating the theory with practical aspects

I.T.S UG Campus organized Inter College Cultural Fest "XPRESSIONS -2K21" for College students on 1st & 2nd November 2021.

The objective behind the cultural fest was to provide a platform to the students from various colleges to flourish and unveil their talent. The fest included a series of activities for participating students to inculcate the spirit of competition and group dynamism for their overall development. The two days Online Inter College Cultural Fest "XPRESSIONS -2K21" for College students was inaugurated on 1st November in an Online Mode at I.T.S UG Campus, Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad. The fest included series of activities for participating students to inculcate the spirit of competition and group dynamism for their overall development. More than 1000+ students from different cities of different states like Delhi, Chennai, Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Meerut, Modinagar, Jammu, Lucknow etc. got registered and participated. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sunil Kr Pandey - Director (IT & UG) at I.T.S Ghaziabad and Prof. Nancy Sharma – Vice Principal (UG), I.T.S Ghaziabad. In the beginning Prof. Nancy Sharma – Vice-Principal (UG), I.T.S Ghaziabad briefed about the importance of this event during the challenging time after Covid- 19 pandemic. She stated that I.T.S UG Campus has a strong bond and connection with various colleges, and has always provided opportunities and avenues for students' overall development. She said that these two days of X- Pressions 2K21 will be worth participating as she believes that each participant will give their best. Dr. Sunil Kr Pandey, Director (IT & UG), in his opening address, congratulated students and stated that while winning an event is important, coming forward and daring to participate, compete, and let the best come out is even more important. He motivated the students by praising their zeal and enthusiasm for the event. He also requested the participants to keep their spirits high and earn maximum benefit from this event and be a better version of them. I.T.S UG Clubs & Societies Conveners briefed about the existing clubs & their activities at the Institute, which was followed by the cultural performances of the students of the I.T.S through their Dance and music videos. After Inaugural Ceremony fest began with 4 activities: Mystical Steps- Dance Competition, Game of Knowledge – Quiz Competition, Jaadu-e- Alfaaz- Poetry/Shyari Competition & Brandalism- Ad-mad Show Competition. On Day 2 i.e. 2 October ’2021 the competition started with the activities namely, Funtaकshari - Antakshari Competition, Talk Rocks- Debate Competition, Let the Music Speak- Singing Competition, Self Expression – Creative Writing Competition & Pratibimb- Poster Making Competition The fest concluded with an online Valedictory Ceremony in the evening with flying colors, energy & enthusiasm. Dr. Sunil Kr Pandey, Director (IT & UG), congratulated the winners and encouraged all the participants. He said that all the participants are winners now as they have actively participated and demonstrated their abilities during the events. Prof. Nancy Sharma – Vice-Principal (UG), I.T.S Ghaziabad extended her best wishes to all winners and appreciated the participants’ efforts. She also congratulated the Faculty & student team of the I.T.S UG campus for conducting such a spectacular event. The top 3 Winners of each event were awarded Certificate of Merit and Attractive Cash Prizes. The performances of participants in all the activities were evaluated by internal judges. All the Participants from different activities were awarded participation certificates.

Now a day’s AI is the most focused and on demand technology andin coming future is going to rule the market. He expressed that AI is taking the world by storm across all industry segments. AI is helping experts across all industries diagnose and solve problems faster, enabling consumers to do amazing things. The guest provides insight regarding the key elements required for the AI. There are four foundational elements to understand the AI which is as: categorization, classification, machine learning, and collaborative filtering Categorization involves creating metrics that are specific to the problem domain. Classification involves determining which data is most relevant to solving the problem. Machine learning involves anomaly detection, clustering, deep learning, and linear regression. Collaborative filtering involves looking for patterns across large data sets. Keeping these in view the club organized “An Online Article Writing Competition on Opportunities and Challenges in India”. Students participated in good number and with all enthusiasm. .. Dr. Muskan Khan of United College of Engineering & Research - School of Management graced as an external judge. Ms Saloni Singhal of BBA 3rdyear, section-Awon first Ppize, Mr.Anand Madhav of BCA 2ndyear, Section-Dwon second prize, and Ms. KashishRastogiof BBA 3rd Year, Section-A won third prize.

Yoga Club “Live Free” organized an Online Activity titled “Power of Positive Thinking”for BCA and BBA students on November 8,2020.

An online yoga session titled - “Power of Positive Thinking” was conducted by Swami. Chidrupananda (Chinmaya Mission). In this session, Swami Chidrupananda explained the origin of thought, and how negative thoughts could be converted into positive. He also gave golden rules of positive thinking. The students were enthralled by the talk.

Treasure Hunt is all about intense high logical thinking. Treasure hunts challenges the students to think and use their creativity to solve clues. If designed well, they will be compelled to think and use common knowledge to play well. At every step of the hunt, they will have to think individually. This is one of the best way to creativity An Online Treasure Hunt was conducted for all BCA and BBA students of II and III year in which all the participants were provided with a website link . The treasure hunt was held in solo mode. No teams were allowed. Every participant played individually. The tournament had no elimination format. Participants were provided with a website link and a time of 45 minutes to find all 5 treasures. All treasures were basically in the form of tasks. Participants had to find or solve the question to get the task. In any case, he/she were unable to find or solve the question then they had the choice to move further for another task. After finding tasks, they all had to complete all the tasks in sequence. After completion of tasks, they had to submit the images to a google form. Based on the first submission with correct tasks in sequence, the top 3 position holders were decided :

The Sports Club- ‘Strikers’ at I.T.S UG Campus Organized a Push-Ups Challenge competition for BBA and BCA students on November12, 2020.

A recent study released by the Harvard Department of Environmental Health claims an association between the number of push-ups a person can do and the likelihood of suffering from a cardiovascular event. According to the study, participants who were able to do 40 or more push-ups were 96% less likely to have cardiovascular disease than participants who could do 10 or less. With the findings of this study in mind, “Strikers” – The Sports club took an initiative to improve the health of students by motivating our studens to identify the benefits of push-ups and learn the best strategies to increase the amount of push-ups they could do. Therefore, a Push-Ups Challenge Competition was organized as performing physical exercises is very essential for overall health and development of students particularly now-a-days where children are confined inside the boundaries of their homes due to the prevailing pandemic.

With an aim to make students aware about uses of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, Fine Arts Club has organized this event.The judge of the event was Ms. Neeru Sagar, PGT-Biology in Government Inter College, Noida. Through this event students were provided with the platform to showcasetheir talent and used their creative ideas to make attractive materials like newspaper bag, hat hair clip, flower pot, decorative bottles, wall hanging etc..Among the participants Rishabh Vats(BCA II year) won the first prize, Aakriti Varshney(BCA II year) grabbed the second prize and Anshika Sharma (BBA I year) won the third prize.
