ITS, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad – UG Campus participated in the IIC Regional meet 2023 organized by Ministry of Education’ Innovation cell and AICTE at Amity University, Noida on 23rd November 2023. Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director-UG, Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal – UG, Dr. Yamini Negi, Associate Professor & IIC Coordinator and Ansh Chauhan (Student – BCA, Ist Year) attended and participated in the Regional Meet. The event started with an inauguration session followed by Demonstration of Innovations/startup, Display of IIC Posters, Interactive sessions, and Udyami Bazar. Mr. Dipan Sahu, Assistant Innovation Director, MIC, Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Managing Director, BIRAC, Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman AICTE, Mr. Manoj Govil, Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs addressed the audience during inaugural session. In afternoon, inaugural session, poster gallery was visited by all distinguished members. There were three parallel sessions on Innovation and startups, knowledge sharing by IIC institutions and YUKTI Innovation Challenge where panelists shared their own startup journey. The students discussed their queries in a one to one mentoring session with jury members from corporate and industry who also motivated the students to create new thoughts and innovative ideas. The problems faced by innovators from idea generation to final execution of the idea was also discussed with the jury members.
UG Campus takes immense pleasure in announcing and celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of Yashasvi Sharma, a distinguished student enrolled in the BCA 1st Year program (2023-2026). Yashasvi has exhibited exceptional prowess in the discipline of Karate, earning notable recognition in the recently concluded CCS University Inter-Collegiate Tournament held on 30th November in Meerut (2023), where he secured the esteemed 3rd position. This achievement is a testament to Yashasvi's dedication, hard work, and outstanding talent in Karate. On behalf of the UG Campus community, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Yashasvi Sharma. May this accomplishment serve as a stepping stone to even greater heights, and we wish him continued success and triumph in all his future endeavours. We take pride in our students' diverse talents and achievements and Yashasvi's success exemplifies the spirit of excellence that defines the UG Campus. A boot camp was scheduled on 9th November 2023 at Pratapgarh Farm Resorts in Haryana for BCA Ist semester students (Batch 2023 -2026). Total 358 students along with 16 faculty members reached at 10:00 AM to the venue. was greeted with a shower of flowers and with the jubilant sound of dhol. Just near the entry there was huge tables set up where all could sit and enjoy the delectable breakfast that was ready to be served. There were many different options for the cuisine, from chomein to chole bhature, all of which were delicious and traditional. The group was taken out to participate in various activities like, Camel Ride, river crossing, Rock Climbing, Cricket, Mud Bath, Dance on DJ, Zipline and many more. At 1:30 PM everyone assembled for lunch. After lunch the students again enjoy the adventure camp rides, some took rest for some time. At 3:30 pm all the students got settled down in the respective buses and arrived at the I.T.S gate at around 6:30 PM. All the students enjoyed a lot and experience was amazing.
A boot camp was scheduled on 8th November 2023 at Pratapgarh Farm Resorts in Haryana for BBA Ist semester students (Batch 2023 -2026). Total 302 students went along with 14 faculty members. The students gathered at the institute gate at 7:00 am. and left at 7:30 am for Pratapgarh Farm Resorts. The group reached at 10:00 am to the venue. The students enjoyed a lot over there. The place was full of greenery and adventures. At the entrance the welcome was in the traditional way. The students saw a traditional culture like pottery, mehndi, camel ride and many more which was all very fascinating. The people over there were very cooperative and down to earth and were dressed in traditional outfit. The food was very tasty with a lot of variety and with a traditional touch to it. There was rain dance, mud bath and tube well too which gives you a traditional vibe. There was a puppet show which was very mesmerizing movement. The students also took a ride to boat. The whole place was very nice and explorative. The students enjoyed a lot .it was a memorable trip for all of us . Students were very happy. Thanks to the college I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad for giving such an amazing opportunity for all the students to visit at such a traditional and enjoyable place.
The objective of this workshop was to give insights about the Canva platform, its interface, and tools available for creating designs. Mr. Aman Khan, UI/UX Expert from ShapeMySkills Pvt. Ltd. took this workshop.The workshop started with brief introduction about Canva, as an online tool for designing which provides access to a variety of photographs, vectors, graphics and fonts. Through this workshop students learned the fundamentals of the Canva. Students explored the basics of user interface design, including layout, colour theory, typography and learned how to make hands-on design projects. In the workshop trainer discussed about strategies and techniques for designing content that captures attention and conveys message effectively. Through this workshop students also got to know about future career opportunities in the area of designing.
The objective of this workshop was to give basic idea for developing applications for android to students. Mobile operating systems like Android are very useful for the development of various types of mobile applications.Mr. Pawan Sharma, Android Expert from ShapeMySkills Pvt. Ltd. was the trainer of this workshop. He started the workshop by giving the overview of android app development and its significance. During the workshop he has discussed about basic concepts and programming methodologies used in android environment. The first app developed by students was to display a simple message. From this they became familiar with how to create an app, and run the app. The second app developed by students was to display the contents in the text box as simple text. From this, they learnt how to use the components in the app development and also learnt to code for that app. Students also made the virtual assistant app and did hands on practices related to activity switching application, text to speech conversion, SQlite, locate location in map and many more.
Shri. Shubham Patel ji (IPS- DCP, Trans Hindon Zone) was the Chief Guest of the session and Shri. Ramanand Kushwaha ji (ADCP-Traffic Ghaziabad) was the Special Guest of the session. The Objective of this Police ki Pathshaala was to spread awareness about traffic rules and cyber-crimes to BBA & BCA students. The session was intended to motivate the students to follow traffic rules not only for the general safety of public but for their own safety as well. The session also aimed at providing valuable information about the increasing cyber-crimes and how the students can avoid such type of crimes. It highlighted the importance of net etiquettes and precautions required in today’s scenario in using social media and other apps. This session was scheduled for students of BBA & BCA-I year. More than 500 students attended the very knowledgeable session and appreciated it a lot. Program started with a welcome note by Dr.Vidushi Singh, MOC of the event. She invited the dignitaries for lighting the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. It was followed by presentation of memento and sapling as a token of respect by Shri Surinder Sood Sir, Director PR to Shri. Shubham Patel ji (IPS- DCP, Trans Hindon Zone) and by Dr.Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director UG & IT to Shri Ramanand Kushwaha ji (ADCP-Traffic Ghaziabad). The session begin with the brief introduction about the program “Police Ki Pathshala” by Ms.Nisha Thakur, reporter Amar Ujala Publication. MOC of the event Dr.Vidushi Singh Ji then invited Shri. Shubham Patel ji (IPS- DCP, Trans Hindon Zone) for his interaction with students. Mr. Patel shared information regarding the crimes taking place these days. He brings into light the changing face of Police Department and the increasing number of female police staff in the department in recent years and how the perception of public has changed positively towards police force post Covid times. He encouraged the students to follow law and order. He then asked the students to share their views about the major issues they face with regard to law and order and specially about crime against women. He also showed his gratitude towards the team of Amar Ujala Publication for this initiative. MOC Dr.Vidushi Singh then invited Shri. Ramanand Kushwaha ji (ADCP-Traffic Ghaziabad) for his interaction with students. Mr.Kushwaha shared the facts and figures related to violation of traffic rules and how the youth can safe themselves and others from road accidents by following traffic rules. He told students about the 5 E’s of traffic management – Education, Encouragement, Enforcement, Evaluation and Engineering. He also enthusiastically answered the questions raised by students. Dignitaries present during the session were Shri Surinder Sood Sir, Director PR, Dr.Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director UG & IT, Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal UG, Dr.Vidushi Singh, Chairperson BCA, Prof. Aadil Khan, Chairperson BBA and Prof.Monika Sharma, Media Coordinator. The session was also attended by the team of Amar Ujala Publication and faculty members of UG campus. The session ended with a thank you note by the MOC Dr.Vidushi Singh.
Aaj Tak, India’s leading Hindi news channel returned with the new edition of its much acclaimed and well-accomplished literature festival, “SAHITYA AAJ TAK” (SAHITYA KE SITARON KA MAHAKUMBH). As part of Aaj Tak's mission to emphasize the value of art and literature in today's society, Students of BBA/BCA (Batch: 2023-26) had an opportunity to attend a convergence of several literary forms, including poetry, prose, music, and theatre. The festival brought together a distinguished group of authors, musicians, actors, columnists, business executives, poets, and theatre artists who have earned a name for themselves throughout the years with their work. The live performance by Jaya kishori ji, motivational speaker and spiritual orator, Manoj Bajpayee (Indian Bollywood actor), Anubhav Singh Bassi (actor & comedian), Nayab middha (poet & performer), Ashutosh Agnihotri (IAS & poet), Rajshri Deshpande (actor), Adarsh Gaurav(actor) and others was appreciated by the students. Students were exposed to a variety of literary genres and it was overall a very positive and beneficial visit.
