
Objective: The Objective of this visit was to make the students aware about the BSE. The do’s and dont’s of an investor and also creating awareness about the share market. Information related to IPOs, Primary Market and Secondary Market were shared with students. Description: The students visited the BSE Pavilion at IITF and participated in the game FinHousie and also won Prizes. The students enjoyed and explored the Trade Fair afterwards. Students were enthusiastic in the event. They appeared on time and were happy participating in the game on investor awareness
Objective: The primary objective of a Nukkad Natak is taking a social message to a large group of people. This helps to create a sense of awareness in the society in which we live. Every Nukkad Natak has a specific public social theme and the actor who performs should posses the skill to exhibit and portrays the theme well. The dialogues are colloquial and should be rendered monotonously with a clear and loud voice. This kind of recitation in high pitch will leave a huge impact in the minds of people. Description: Students participated in groups of 16-18 members as a team. The Motive of Nukkad Natak is to aware about the cancer & cancer causes, how its effect health, family and society. How a people save himself from this disease? The spectator of the act were the students of BBA & BCA of all years. They enjoyed and understood the cancer effects and pre-cautions.
I.T.S. Mohan Nagar UG Campus Students participated in the Vaktavya, Debate Competition of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (Affiliated to DU) on 21st November 2023. 03 students of BBA 3rd year Komaljit Kaur, Palak Jain and Shivani participated in the debate on the topic “It came, It Saw, It Conquered: The threat of Emerging Artifical Intelligence”. The students competed with the students of IIT Delhi, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, and other premier DU Colleges. The students were excited and performed exceptionally well. The crowd cheered them up while performing. They also learned from other competitors
A visit was conducted to NCUI to celebrate the 70th All India Cooperative Week cantered on the theme "Role of Cooperatives in Making India a $5 Trillion Economy and SDGs." Dignitaries, including Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Parshottam Rupala, highlighted cooperative societies' crucial role in economic growth and SDG alignment. Discussions focused on cooperative contributions to the $5 Trillion Economy, emphasizing collaboration for inclusive development. The week served as a platform for idea exchange, success celebration, and charting future paths for cooperatives to catalyze positive change in India's economic landscape, aligning with ambitious goals and SDGs. During the educational visit, 1 first-year students, 27 from BBA and 24 from BCA, actively participated in an educational visit. They gained insights into diverse cooperative products and services nationwide. The visit highlighted the significance of marketing in cooperatives, with dignitaries discussing NCUI's pivotal role in aiding small businesses. The exchange of ideas enhanced students' understanding of cooperatives' role in economic development. The visit offered a practical learning experience, exposing BBA and BCA students to real-world cooperative initiatives and supportive infrastructure provided by organizations like NCUI.
Total 200 students (100 from BBA and 100 from BCA) participated in the visit from Second Year of BBA and BCA. The students learned about various products and services that are being offered by various cooperatives from across the country. Cooperatives had come from all over the country including Punjab, Rajasthan & Uttaranchal. Our students went to various stalls and learnt about various intricacies of conducting different business. Not only manufacturing, but also students learnt about marketing concepts, wherein they learnt about how products were brought in from extreme corners of North-East to Delhi, and were also seeing at potential of export of such products. Students were quite enthusiastic during the visit. They were happy after visiting NCUI. During the visit they learned a lot. They were disciplined and followed instructions of the faculty members. Overall, the experience was very good.
ITS UG Campus has organised a Foreign Guest session on the topic “Building Entrepreneurs through Education and Industry Collaboration“by Prof. Anders Fredriksen, Head of the Department, Department of Business Development and Technology Herning, Denmark on 28th November2022. Director UG & IT Dr. S.K. Pandey welcome the guest and briefed students that globalization changes the way nations, businesses and people interact. Specifically, it changes the nature of economic activity among nations, expanding trade, opening global supply chains and providing access to natural resources and markets. Vice Principal Prof. Nancy Sharma said that globalization is associated with rapid and significant human changes. The movements of people from rural to urban areas has accelerated, and the growth of cities in the developing world especially is linked to substandard living for many. Prof. Anders Fredriksen discussed about key skills like keen to learn, hands on practise on latest trends and confidence students should have to become better professional or entrepreneur, also he talked about work culture and avenues available in his country. He also discussed about traits one should possess to become a good entrepreneur. In this valuable session students of BBA/ BCA Batch (2022-25) interacted with the speaker. They asked about entrepreneurship skills and Job scenario in Denmark and other foreign countries too.
The objective to organize this visit was to provide students an exposure to the practical working environment of National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI). BCA & BBA students of 2nd year attended the industrial visit to the National Cooperative Union of India.Mr. Rajeev interacted and explained to the students about the Skill India programme future scope and carrier in providing adequate training in market relevant skills to over 40 crore youth by 2022. Students also visit to different stalls of various states which encourages them to take up innovative ideas and create opportunities for the development of talent within the country and improve the overall scope and space for underdeveloped sectors. Overall Industrial visit to National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) for the Fest for BCA & BBA 2nd year Students was a successful event.
The objective to organize this visit was to provide students an exposure about practical working environment of Mother dairy plant and an opportunity to learn through interaction regarding the Milk collection, Transportation, Testing, Processing and manufacturing of other dairy products. BCA students of 1st year attended the industrial visit to the Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi Ms.Neha gave a presentation related to the history of the Mother Dairy and briefed students about the Operation Flood Program. She also explained the students the inception of Mother dairy in the year 1974 and is well known for its hygiene and good quality of milk and agro products. She also briefed the students about the primitive and noval modes of milk collection and distribution. Students were also informed about the actual milk processing capacity of the plant along with the significance of the steps in processing. Going forward, a small documentary film of Mother Dairy Plant was shown, which depicted the process of milk production. Students interacted with the Ms. Neha and asked numerous questions to satisfy their curious minds. Overall, the visit was highly interactive and an eye-opening for students on the concepts related to production and operations within a milk manufacturing plant.
The visit to Coca Cola Greater Noida was organised on November 24th, 2022 to provide students an exposure of manufacturing process of products. Total 46 students of BCA-1 year participated in the educational tour to coca cola. The objective behind this visit was to give insights to students about the actual manufacturing process of coca cola soft drinks and other products. The session started with introduction via a video clip on many interesting facts about coca cola. Students also got the knowledge about inception of company and its branches in India and across the globe. The representatives of company conducted quiz about company during the tour and also gave prizes to two winning candidates. The session was very interesting and knowledgeable to everyone and will be helpful for students in future. Overall it was the great learning experience for the students as they learned different aspects of manufacturing of coca cola products. All the students were provided soft drinks at the end of visit and they enjoyed a lot during the whole trip.
The event showcased a multitude of events like Fashion Show, Solo Dance, Solo Singing & Solo Acting Performance competition etc. The students exhibited their talent through their scintillating performances especially in Ramp Walk, Singing, and Dancing& Acting. Mr. Aman Dheer (TV Actor/Model)-Mr. India-2016(Manhunt), Contestant of MTV-Splitsvilla Season-12 & Miss Deepa Kashyap (Fitness Model) Shubhstar Miss India 2020 solemnly inaugurated & judged the event. Director UG -Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey addressed the students that new beginnings come with new challenges and we should try our best to learn from these challenges no matter what.
