


A recent study released by the Harvard Department of Environmental Health claims an association between the number of push-ups a person can do and the likelihood of suffering from a cardiovascular event. According to the study, participants who were able to do 40 or more push-ups were 96% less likely to have cardiovascular disease than participants who could do 10 or less. With the findings of this study in mind, “Strikers” – The Sports club took an initiative to improve the health of students by motivating our studens to identify the benefits of push-ups and learn the best strategies to increase the amount of push-ups they could do. Therefore, a Push-Ups Challenge Competition was organized as performing physical exercises is very essential for overall health and development of students particularly now-a-days where children are confined inside the boundaries of their homes due to the prevailing pandemic.
With an aim to make students aware about uses of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, Fine Arts Club has organized this event.The judge of the event was Ms. Neeru Sagar, PGT-Biology in Government Inter College, Noida. Through this event students were provided with the platform to showcasetheir talent and used their creative ideas to make attractive materials like newspaper bag, hat hair clip, flower pot, decorative bottles, wall hanging etc..Among the participants Rishabh Vats(BCA II year) won the first prize, Aakriti Varshney(BCA II year) grabbed the second prize and Anshika Sharma (BBA I year) won the third prize.
With an aim to go beyond academics, I.T.S UG Campus has planned a Guest Lecture on “Github”, which will help the students to upgrade their knowledge according to the industry requirements. Theoretical knowledge is not enough for a successful professional career, so the Guest lecture provides additional knowledge from the highly experienced person. The guest Speaker: Mr Prashant Gupta , Sr Technical Architect, HCL Noida explained the students about the use of GitHub by practically implementing the same. GitHub is a developmental platform inspired by the way one works. from the open source to business, by using GitHub one can host and review code, manage projects, and build software alongside 50 million developers. Guest lecture has its own importance in the career of a student, who is pursuing a professional degree.
The objective behind this competition is to encourage the Students reading habits of Mathematics and to acknowledge their interests in Mathematics.Brain Storming Competition motivates students to strive for a better and deeper understanding of scientific facts so that their logical analytical and problem solving can be enhanced. Brain Storming Competition not only improve logical thinking,but also enhance the analytical and reasoning ability, problem-solving skills, and confidence. Overall, it helps in the development of a child at a young stage. Total 57 students participated in the event from BBA and BCA. Students reviewed various questions in the Brain Storming Competition. Brain Storming Competition helps students identify the real potential, which can help them survive better in today's modern competitive world. In this Competition Somya Gupta from BCA-V Sem Sec-C got the first position. Aditya Kumar from BCA-III Sem Sec –D got the Second position.Anand Madhav from BCA - IIISem Sec-D got the third position.
The Objective of Alumni Talk Series is to keep a roster of all Alumni of college and their pertinent data along with maintaining the updated and current information of all Alumni. It aims to encourage, foster and promote close relations among the alumni themselves as well as current batch of students. Primarily, it intends to provide a forum to the Alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of the day with the students. The Alumni Talk Series achieves these objectives and help strengthen the bond between the alumni and their Alma Mater. Approx. 300+ students of BCA( Iyr-142,IIyr-119,IIIyr-66) attended the Alumni Talk Series session conducted by Alumni of BCA 2008-2011 Batch Mr. Harsh Goel, a Lead Engineer in Life Insurance and HCM domain. He spoke on the topic “Career Path and Growth as a Business Analyst” explaining to the students the challenges a fresh graduate has to face while entering into the corporate world. He explained the role of Business analyst. He also explained that how business analyst acts as a facilitator, he has to simplify the requirement and explain it to the technical team after prior approval of client and then go for user acceptance testing. He has expressed few insights regarding the risk and how we mitigate risks. He motivated the students to be Energetic, talkative, build their confidence on presentation skills and inspired students to participate in co-curricular activities which will lead to overall development, which is the requirement of the corporate world.The session was very interesting as Mr. Harsh gave his own example pertaining to the topic and established an instant connect with the students. Apart from this, some students even discussed which technical languages they should learn for their future growth. The motive behind this Guest lecture for the students of BCA was to enhance the technical skills in the field of Python& Data science to build their career for the future development.It also add values to students to learn the latest technologies which is over and above their curriculum. Approx. 300+ students of BCA( Iyr-142,IIyr-119,IIIyr-66) attended the guest lecture by Mr. Nitin Shrivastav, a Data Scientist in the field of Machine Learning, He spoke on the topic “Application of Python in Data Science” explaining about overview of the Python and start the session with practical implementation of Python using Jupitor tool . He discussed about the use of Python in IOT, Big Data and how it is easy to understand and to implement. Further, he implement a practical scenario of correlation, regression using Python and also used queries to analyze the data. Then he discussed about the Mathematical model and graphical model of Python for clear understanding of the topic. The session was interactive and many students asked questions related to the carrier in the field of Python and also many questions raised with the curiosity to know how to perform the analysis and how we can use the mathematical model, correlation , regression concepts in the Python.
The objective behind this Seminar is to enable students to have an overview of the commodity derivatives along with the role being played by Securities & Exchange Board of India in regulating the exchanges and capital market. The seminar has been organized during the occasion of World Investor Week being celebrated during (23-29 November, 2020). In the first session Ms. Veena Kumari, Manager SEBI gave a detailed overview about the working of SEBI in protection of rights of investor and regulation of the exchanges. She also elaborated the importance of saving and investment in reducing the effects of inflation . In the second session Mr Sanjay Gakhar, Vice President MCX, gave an overview about the working of commodity market along with the derivative trading in various types of metals, bullion (i.e precious ,semi-precious), energy and agriculture products. He also explained various factors like forex rates, geo political factors, economic factors , trade policies etc. which affect prices of different commodities . He also elaborated the concepts of commodity price risk, spot & derivatives, forward & futures . He also discussed the regulatory view of MCX. Total 282 students from BBA along with faculty members were present in the session. Students and other participants actively interacted with both the speakers for their queries related with the working of commodity market, investment planning, forward, futures ,commodity price risk and role of Securities and Exchange Board Of India.
ITS – U.G campus organizes various scholastic and co-scholastic activities to cater all round development of its students. Students often reveal what they had long hidden and they would be otherwise reluctant to divulge. With this objective, an Extempore Competition was organized for students of BBA & BCA programme on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 to enhance their communication skills. Participants spoke on a variety of topics related to the theme “Impact of Covid-19 on Society” like education, employment, environment, mental health, global economy, tourism, lifestyle, culture, hygiene & health, agriculture, export industry & fashion & lifestyle etc. The participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and left no stone unturned to give in their best on the topics they got. The participants were judged on the basis of content, confidence, voice modulation, pronunciation and overall impact.
The main objective of the guest lecture was to give information about the working of Banking system and its role in the business and economy. This session will help the students to understand the role and importance of banking industry in development of Indian economy.
students were imparted withvarious scheme and privileges given by the banks to encourage the savings habits and promoting business in rural as well as urban areas. It alsoboost the entrepreneurship in Indian economy. The speaker shared lots of information which encourages them to become an entrepreneur. It was an informative and motivating session. Students asked many queries from the speaker and he responded to all the doubts. All together the session was highly interactive.

Day 1: Students went to Kuala Lumpur half day city tour where they enjoyed a lot and explored various famous thing in Kuala Lumpur. Students were made visit to kings palace Istana Negara. They visited petronas tower and it came to their knowledge that The towers were designed by Argentine architect César Pelli. A distinctive postmodern style was chosen to create a 21st-century icon for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Planning on the Petronas Towers started on 1 January 1992 and included rigorous tests and simulations of wind and structural loads on the design. Kuala Lumpur City tour. So it help students to know the history of kuala lumpur. They also visited Merdeka Square , National Mosque and National Monument which shows the development of Kuala Lumpur and how they achieved it.
Day 2 they visited Batu Caves and went to Genting highland where they knew that It takes its name from the Sungai Batu, which flows past the hill. It is the tenth limestone hill from Ampang. Batu Caves is also the name of a nearby village. Students learnt a lot and explored various new thing.
Day 3: Students went to Visit Industry at Pewter Factory and they got to know about the history of it. The pewter objects sold by Yong Koon were polished with "stone leaf" (Tetracera scandens), a wild tropical leaf of a fine, abrasive nature. With the arrival of British colonials, the offering expanded to include tankards, ashtrays and tea services. The brand was then known as Selangor Pewter. Students also knew that the market expanded into Europe and later into Japan.Students learnt a lot there and enjoyed also they came outside with new ideas and how they achieve it, which was very impressive.
Day 4: students visited UITM University where they attended a seminar on career objective and the personality role in life. Students met with Professor’s along with some students and visited campus they visited library , their conference room and labs after that each and every students received certificate from the top management of UITM . All students were very happy to the courses offered by UITM and their placements. The day ended with lots of learning.
