


The main objective of industrial visit to Mother Dairy was to enable the students to better visualize what they have learned in classroom to the real industrial situations, to Gain an insight of Mother Dairy production process and to help students to gain first-hand information regarding functioning of the company. Keeping this in view ITS UG Campus organized an Industry visit for BBA and BCA students of 2nd year. to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi. Ms.Neha gave a presentation related to the history of the Mother Dairy and briefed students about the Operation Flood Program. She also explained the students the inception of Mother dairy in the year 1974 and is well known for its hygiene and good quality of milk and agro products. She also briefed the students about the 21 quality tests including presence of foreign matter and bacteriological tests. The quality of milk accepted and dispatched meets certain predetermined standards. They were also shown various processes such as Clarification,Homogenization, Standardization and Pasteurization, to ensure that it is safe for human consumption. At the end students asked questions about logistics & various product of Mother dairy. Moving ahead students were shown a small documentary film of Mother Dairy Plant, which depicted the process of milk production. Students interacted with the Ms. Neha and asked numerous questions to satisfy their curious minds. Overall, the visit was highly interactive and an eye-opening for students on the concepts related to production and operations within a milk manufacturing plant.
At ITS, we are committed to give a head start to our students in professional career. This starts with providing internship opportunities with corporate houses to our second year students. This gives a real time exposure of corporate working to the students and motivates them to prepare themselves for corporate requirements and make most use of their college life. In this series famous FMCG Brand YAKULT visited the campus for internship drive for BBA second Year students Batch (2020-23) on 5th October 2021. A large number of students participated in the drive and 11 students were selected for live project Training. Students will be getting stipend also. We congratulate all the selected students for their efforts and wish them all the best .

Day – 02: (Course Overview and Management Games) On second day of the orientation programme, all the students participated in exciting management games through which they got to work in teams and learnt the benefits of team work. The main objective for using management games is that they provide the opportunity to learn from experience. Games started with the team formation followed by an icebreaking activity in which students filled a grid about their team members and presented before the class. Then the teams played “4 Picture, 1 Word” game and the winner teams received chocolates. The students participated with lot of zeal and enthusiasm in all the games. They also got the opportunity to know their classmates through these games. After management games, a presentation on course overview of BBA and BCA was given respective Course Chairpersons. The students were briefed about various academic as well as non-activities activities they will be participating for next three years at UG campus. The 02 day orientation programme came to an end with a blissful insight to the beginning of the journey for budding managers and IT professionals.

The event was formally inaugurated with lamp lighting by Chief Guest Sh Upkar Singh, Director, FIS Global, Guest of Honour Ms Geeta Sehgal, Author, Mind Wellness Coach, Life Skills Trainer, HR & Business Consultant, Founder of "Speakers & Leaders Academy", Sh Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S - The Education Group, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director (IT & UG) and Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal (UG). On the occasion, Prof Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal, UG Campus gave an overview of the various academic, non-academic opportunities available for the all round development of the students at UG campus. She said that every student joins I.T.S with the objective of becoming successful professional and I.T.S provides precise environment which facilitates the students to achieve that objective. She congratulated all the students for selecting I.T.S as the destination for beginning new chapter of their life. Director-IT & UG, Dr Sunil Kumar Pandey briefed the students about contribution of I.T.S from the last 26 years in producing the budding managers and IT professionals. He said that getting placed in a company of repute is dream of every student joining I.T.S, their dreams come true as we provide placements in best of the companies like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, Lenskart, Zomato, Amazon etc. He advised the students to enjoy growth of the investment they made by taking admission at I.T.S. Sh Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman I.T.S – The Education Group, in his address advised all the newly admitted students to have their own goals. Sir, asked the objective of some of the students behind joining undergraduate program at ITS. He was of the view that one should not be carried away with the success or failure of others. He advised students to grab various opportunities at I.T.S. There should not be full stop to learning. Students felt motivated as all participated actively by answering the questions asked by respected Sir. The session by Chief Guest was also very motivating for the students as Sh Upkar Singh talked about how to achieve success in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) environment. Sh Singh asked students to co-create their career by focusing on important Es. The Es are Enthusiasm, Energy, Efficiency, Experience, Expert, Effective, Earning, Ethics, Enjoyment. He opined that students should ask Questions as it can help them to Activate and Stimulate the Knowledge. Guest of honour Ms Geeta Sehgal in her address congratulated the students for starting their new journey at I.T.S. She advised the students to be future ready as the opportunities may not come again. She said that one should have attitude of gratitude and should be thankful for what one have, one will end up having more. All the dignitaries congratulated the newly admitted students for selecting the best institute i.e I.T.S, for pursuing their professional degree course and wished them for a bright future ahead. The role of clubs and societies in a student’s life was also briefed. Overview of clubs and societies was given with the help of dance performance and a skit presented by Theatre club’s students.

Guest of honour Ms Nidhi Kapoor, Founder Director of viharin.com shared her success story from college student to becoming a successful entrepreneur and the contribution of the institute in nurturing the students towards entrepreneurship. Lt Gen K J Singh in his virtual address advised the newly admitted students to create their Valmiki moment. He said that one should live life as the quote goes, “Na Kisi ke prabhav mein, na kisi ke abhaav mein, rahiye apne swabhav mein”. He also advised to make a Synergy in student life for exponential growth. He also highlighted the importance of having SMART (S-Specific, M-Measurable, A-Achievable, R-Realistic and T-Time bound) goals. All the dignitaries congratulated the newly admitted students for selecting the best institute i.e I.T.S, for pursuing their professional degree course and wished them for a bright future ahead. On the occasion, Ishika Memorial award was given to Gaurav Sharma of BBA (Batch 2019-22) and Saumya Ashish of BCA (Batch 2019-22) for securing maximum marks during the session 2019-20. The students were awarded with Rs 5100/ each for this achievement. It was followed by brief about foreign languages. All the faculty and key staff members were introduced to the newly admitted students. The role of clubs and societies in a student’s life was also briefed. Day – 01: (Documents Verification Day) All the students reported at the respective classrooms in UG-II for the registration which was followed by Document Verification and Mentoring session on first day of the orientation program.
The objective of this workshop was to make students aware of the recent trends and developments in the field of finance. E-Finance Quiz was organized on Kahoot Application. Description: Total 16 students from BBA and BCA (III and V Semester) participated in the quiz. A unique quiz code was provided to them on the spot. The quiz consists of 100 questions covering Basic Accounting concepts, Bank name abbreviations, Banking logo and taglines, famous personalities and stock market topics. Student were asked to record their answers within 30 seconds. After each question, top 5 students name were displayed on the screen. Students were quiet enthusiast and interested in the event. Students were made aware many financial terms and recent developments ongoing in the field of finance. Mr. Pankaj Garg (BBA-V Sem), Mr. Ritik Bhadoria (BCA-V Sem) and Mr. Ritik Maheshwari (BCA-III Sem) grabbed first, second and third position.
An Online Gaming was conducted for all BCA and BBA students of II and III year in which all the participants were required to be a minimum of level 2 in the game or else the game wouldn’t allow them to join the custom rooms. The tournament was held in solo mode. No teams were allowed. Every participant played individually. The tournament started in an elimination format. 5 participants joined a room and played a match for 2 minutes. The Winner was promoted to the next elimination round. The other 4 participants were eliminated and were not be able to progress any further. This cycle of elimination rounds continued till we were left with only 5 participants and everyone else was eliminated.
Creativity is something everyone has in their mind and heart, and to express it to others all they need is a chance. It can be expressed in form of words, pictures, music etc. To provide anamazing opportunity, Literario-the Literary club organized a BIOGRAPHY RECITING COMPETITION for students on 21st October 2020. The theme for the competition was biography of great personalities of the world with word limit of 800 words. The purpose of this event was to encourage the creativity and writing skills of students'. These willenhance their thinking and expressions of words. Commendably, the literarians were outstanding, each and every biography had a different perspective and the way they put it up into a tale was appreciated. Students spoke about Mother Teresa, Hanuman Ji, Nelson Mandela, Kailash Satyarthi,LataMangeshkar etc. After reciting all the biographies the winners were selected on the basis of some criteria but all the literarians who participated are winners for us, because participation needs courage.
