ITS UG Campus Literary Club” Organised an events Tap the court & Mujhe Pehchano

The aim of the ITS UG Literary Club is to develop and sharpen the literary skills of the students. The ITS UG Literary club inspires the students to develop knowledge of literature and also works in the direction of educating their spoken and written language. It consists of a variety of activities aimed at building up the confidence and grooming the talents of students in facing various interpersonal activities and competitions.In view of the above aim, ITS UG Campus Literary club organized an events named as Tap the court & Mujhe Pehchano (for Literary Club Members Only) to foster the love for language, enhance literary creativity and provide an avenue for self-expression beyond the course curriculum.

In continuation of our effort, i.e. sharpening the skills of logical thinking and expressing the personal views, total 25 students from all three years of BBA & BCA courses were participated in the event and done their best to present their views in favour and against of the topics provided to him as well as introduced himself in very creative way.

To enhance the group activities, leadership skill and searching capacity among the budding technocrats I.T.S. U.G. campus Library Club - “Franklin” on Occasion of World Teachers’ Day organised event named Treasure Hun A Secret Agent for BBA and BCA on October 05, 2019.

Out of 14 Teams registered for, a good number of 12 Teams comprised of 28 Participants played the treasure hunt.

Students gathered in the UG library to commence the program. Director UG Dr. Sunil Pandey commended and applauded the students for participating and enthusiasm they bear on the day.

Students searched various clues spread in campus and jotted to make a predefined riddle.

The activitystrengthen curiosity, team spirit, confidence and learning attitude among students.

Students learned, enjoyed and were quite satisfied with the information they gained.

Report on Session on Women Safety Organized for Girl Students by Women Cell

A session on Women Safety for girl students has organized by Women Cell of UG Campus has organized on 3rd October 2019. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad and his team Mr. Govind Singh, Sub Inspector, Mr. Hariom, Sub Inspector and Ms. Puja Panwar, Sub Inspector were the guest.  Dr. Rakesh Kumar Mishra briefed students that society is very much concern about women safety these days but foremost women should made herself strong physically and mentally to face the challenges. Dr. Mishra also briefed that Police Department is always there to implement law & order and in case of need Police Department shouldbe contacted immediately. In continuation of this, he also informed about effective working of dial 100 number. He shared helpline numbers among girl students. Dr. Mishra also informed that now a day’s school and colleges are having ShikayatPetika in campus in which girl students can drop their grievances.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Mishra and his team briefed certain points which girls should remember these days like do not share their mobile numbers with strangers, do not accept friend request of strangers, share less information on social media, always share their whereabouts and friends’ details with parents etc.

He also briefed about UP COP app. This is citizen centric mobile application. Citizen can raise various requests related Uttar Pradesh Police department through this application and can track the request status until the final closure. Other useful tabs make this application robust/capable for viewing the information related to public welfare.

At the end there was a question answer round as well. Students asked their queries related to there past experiences and concern of women security which were answered by the guest.

ITS Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad has organized a motivational Guest Session on Conceive, Believe & Achieve [CBA] for BCA-I year (2019-22) on 03rd October, 2019.

Mr. Sudhir Gaur is an experienced resource and motivational guide for the students. During his session he shared many valuable things to do on regular basis like how should student be aware of innovations in IT field, How to best utilize their time, How to set & achieve their goals in life and much more.

Students appreciated this general but valuable guest talk. Few students are rewarded by Jetking on giving correct answers to their questions. All students will get participation certificate for this attending session.    

I.T.S UG Campus organized a Guest Lecture on “Application Development in Data Science “for BCA Students (2018-2021 Batch) on October 3, 2019.

The motive behind this lecture was the understanding about the basic and advance concept in Data Science. What is industry requirement for the Data Science and Machine Learning. How the Students can opt various fields related to Data Science & Artificial Intelligence and how the application can be developed using this Technology.

Mr. Nishant Chaturvedi -speaker of the session gave an overview of Data Science, Machine Learning with examples using algorithm of Clustering, Apriori algorithm etc. Speaker also talked about the scope of Data Science in Software fields. Students asked many queries and speaker answered each query by giving the example.

ITS UG Campus organized Puzzle competition by Math Club on October 1, 2019.

The objective behind this competition is to encourage the Students quantitative skills and to acknowledge their interests in Mathematics.

Total 14 students participated in the event from all years of BBA and BCA. Students reviewed various questions in the Puzzle Competition. Puzzle competition helps students identify the real potential, which can help them survive better in today's modern competitive world. Puzzle competition motivates students to strive for a better and deeper understanding of scientific facts so that their logical analytical and problem solving can be enhanced. Puzzle competition not only improve the logical thinking and help in brainstorming but also enhance the analytical and reasoning ability, problem-solving skills, and confidence. Overall, it helps in the development of a child at a young stage. In this Competition GarimaTyagi from BCA-VSem Sec-D was the winner and Nikhil Gupta from BCA-IIISem Sec –D was the first runner-up &VidhiBansal From BCA-VSem Sec- C was the second runner-up emerged as winners.

Dance and Music club of I.T.S UG Campus has organised ‘FootLoose’ Dance competition for students of BBA and BCA on October 1, 2019.

‘FootLoose’ Dance Competition provides a platform to young dancers to showcase their talent & creativity. It gives them opportunity to tap their feet to the tunes of various styles of dancing. It helps them to create new experiences, new friendships and new goals. The Dance competition is the perfect medium to share skills, progress and victories.

Dance and Music Club – “Starlighters” had organised an Intra college dance competition on October 1, 2019 for BBA and BCA students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year. The competition received an overwhelming response from the students in terms of registration and participation. Students showcased their extraordinary dancing talent .The enthusiasm of participants was commendable. Each one of them were battling it out on stage with intricate steps, graceful moves and pulsating beats. We warmly welcome the new talent that came up with great zeal from the first year.

Ms Deepti Singh, Music and Dance instructor from Ch.Chhabil Dass Public school was the Judge of the event. She offered constructive feedback and advice for the performers.

The competition began with the performance of solo dancers, who demonstrated a high standard of dancing, and this was what the excited audience could expect for the whole event. After the performance of the solo dancers it was time for the group dancers to grace the stage. From Solo Dance to Group dance, the judge had the arduous task of deciding who would be the winners for the competition. The competition was really fun filled and enjoyable.

Technotrix club of ITS Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad UG campus organized an event “Tech Talk” for BCA and BBA Students on 3rd October, 2019. It was organized from 2:40 PM to 4:30 PM in New Seminar Hall.

Technotrix club of ITS Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad UG campus organized an event “Tech Talk” for BCA and BBA Students on 3rd October, 2019. It was organized from 2:40 PM to 4:30 PM in New Seminar Hall.

We are surrounded by technology everywhere and it is of utter importance that we have some general knowledge about them. This event showcased the knowledge that our participants carry within themselves and raise awareness amongst everyone. Participants were given technical topic like Role of Video Conferencing, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Evolution of computers, Internet of Things, Block Chain in random and were given 2 minutes to think and then given 2-3 minutes to speak on the topic. They were analyzed on the basis of their Fluency, Presentation, Expression and Accuracy.

The final three winners were.

I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad- UG Campus organized an Industry visit to MCN Solutions, Noida for BCA-II-year students on October 3, 2019.

The objective behind this industry visit was to make students aware about the current requirements of a software company and to get detailed knowledge about Artificial Intelligence.

A session of 2.5 hours was taken by Mr. Atul Kumar. He explained the students the details of Artificial Intelligence and explained the topics like difference between human understanding and machine understanding, intellectual skills,  practical skills and transferable skills, machine learning, deep learning (neural networks), natural language processing. He also gave the practical demonstration of Hollogram (format in which we combine 3D images together). The session was overall interactive and knowledgeable. It was a good learning experience for the students.

The Dandiya Night was a celebration of this festive season with enthusiasm, excitement and more energy.  Students grooved to dandiya beats, enjoyed lip smacking food and many more things. As the trend, I.T.S-UG Campus celebrated ‘Dandiya Night’ for BBA/BCA students on 4th October, 2019. The event showcased a multitude of events like Gujarati Dance by UG club students, Best seller competition in which participants had set up their stalls and the best seller on different basis was awarded), Scintillating performance by an external dance troop etc.

The Winner for Best Seller competiton was  Shraddha Srivastava,Rinkirana,Chirag,Bhumika Agarwal,Seji and Runner up team was Simmi mani tripathi,Himanshu,Chetanmadan ,Abhay bansal. The Winner for  Best Costume Male  was selected based on the theme of the event Mr.chirag and for Ms.Best Costume female Ms.Muskan Rana.The event witnessed a perfect ending with DJ night by sensational and popular DJ Sonee performing live for the students.Students enjoyed a lot.
