I.T.S. UG Campus Organized an Industry Visit to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi for BBA & BCA I Year Students on April 19, 2022
19-04-2022The objectiveof the industry visit was to provide the students an insight into internal working ofcompanies since theoretical knowledge is not enough for a successful professional career.
To fulfil the above objective, ITS Mohan Nagar, UG Campus took the students of BBA & BCA I Year to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi. On arrival, the students were gathered in the Seminar Hall where a presentation on the history of Mother Dairy was narrated by Ms. Neha. The students got to know about the 21 quality tests including presence of foreign matter and bacteriological tests. The quality of milk accepted and dispatched meets certain predetermined standards. They also showed various processes such as Clarification, Homogenization, Standardization and Pasteurization, to ensure that it is safe for human consumption.The students had a lot of queries which were answered to the satisfaction of the students by the presenter. Later, the students were taken to the department where the procured milk from various places is brought to the factory. The milk samples are tested for quality check and then transferred to the tanks where the impurities are removed by applying centripetal force. After removing the impurities, the milk is then transferred to the SILOs which have a capacity to hold 1 Lakh litres of milk. The milk is then pasteurized by heating it to 72 degrees centigrade held for 15 seconds and then rapidly cooled down to 4 degrees centigrade so that all the pathogens and bacteria present in the milk are killed and it does not spoil for at least 48 hours. The pasteurized milk is then packaged/ transferred to insulated vans which ferry them to the desired Mother Dairy outlets in Delhi NCR region.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the visit which was full of learning for them since they understood the procurement, quality check, production, packaging and distribution function of the plant.

I.T.S UG Campus organized Felicitation Ceremony (Applause) for BBA & BCA Students on April 16, 2022.
16-04-2022The objective to organize this event was to felicitate and acknowledge the talents of students who have participated and won in various club activities, students who headed the clubs & societies and also the members of “TATVA” student’s e-magazine for volume 8 & 9.
More than 100 students participated in the event from all over BBA/BCA. The Felicitation ceremony is a potpourri of potential meaning that it provides a healthy and competitive environment for students to thrive in all areas of activity, whether academics, sports, or any other extra-curricular role involved in myriad of benefits. The main aim is to provide equal opportunities to all the students in order to realize their full potential and prepare for life after college. Furthermore, it aims to maintain an enumeration of all the students and update the data base with the same. Ultimately, it also encourages the students to become eager about their professional careers and when the time comes to ultimately flourish in it as well.
On this occasion, Prof. Anubha Srivastava– Club Convener (UG), in her welcome address said that it is a matter of great satisfaction and happiness to interact with our passed-out students once again to share their exploration, learning and experience with the students and to guide them. She also said that it provides an opportunity to lead a team, coordinate activities, and present, as well as opportunities to build relationships with peers.
Prof. Mala Sharma– Club Convener (UG), introduced clubs & societies and said I.T.S. has a strong tradition-oriented clubs that enables students to join and pursue variety of interests.
Prof. Vaijayanti Anand expressed her views about the Tattva Magazine and role and efforts students put in each and every volume.
The ceremony started with a memorable video that made all the audience historical and reminded them of their college life once again, how they used to bunk the lectures, how they participated in different activities, etc. Students had also prepared different performances (dance, singing, etc) which audiences enjoyed a lot.
It was a wonderful interaction with students & faculty during the ceremony. According to students those who are passed out explained their juniors that success could be achieved only by stepping out of their comfort zones and participating in various clubs events. They also briefed that how I.T.S and Faculty Members played important role in their life.
I.T.S UG Campus organized a Guest Lecture for BCA students (Batch: 2020-2023) titled “Cyber Security as a career Insight, Resources & Best Practices” on April 11, 2022.
11-04-2022The Guest Lecture was planned with an objective to enhance the practical knowledge of the students from the expert of cyber security apart from class room lecture.
The speaker of the session was Mr. Akash Mittal, Cyber Security Consultant & Team Lead at HCL Technologies, Noida.Mr. Akash began the sessionwith the basic question of what cyber security really is ?He made the students aware of the cyber threats, prevailing in the security and discussed on how to ensure that their data is safe. He advised to be cautious of the information we are providing to the strangers as it can be used against us.
He gave insights on cyber security terminologies, the different roles in the field of cyber security, different cyber security attacks like DOS, D-DOS, Phishing attack, Man-in-the-middle attack, advanced persistent attack, Ransomware attack in which the victim is threatened that it’s personal data will be published unless a ransom is paid and the tools which can be used for the security of the organization like SIEM solution, antivirus solution etc. He also enlightened the students about different cyber security domains like: Software development security, security operations, security assessment and testing, identity & access management, asset security, security engineering, communication and network security. He gave the students the roadmap to cyber security like the certifications, training, courses and higher education.
Students doubts and queries were answered patiently and in a detailed manner by the speaker. Overall, it was a very interactive and enlightening session for all the students.

11-04-2022The objective of an industry visit is to provide the students an insight into internal working of the companies. It was planned with an objective to go beyond academics. Industry visit provides an excellent opportunity for students to interact with industry people and know more about its environment. Industry visit also helps our students to understand the practical approach to their professional career.
The students had lot of take a ways from this visit. When the students reached Mother Dairy, they were told to assemble in a lawn, where they were offered flavored milk. Then the students were taken to a lecture hall to provide a brief idea on history, plant set up of Mother by the official persons. He also talked about the composition of milk and the reasons for taking milk every day. The officials had also thrown light on the logistics management of Mother Dairy and milk distribution. Then there was question answer round. Out of curiosity, the students asked a lot of questions which were answered pertinently.
After the question answer round, students were taken to the manufacturing facility. It was an automated milk processing unit. The milk processing and distribution was explained. Student queries were also addressed. Then students were again taken to lawn where they were offered ice cream.
It was a great learning experience for students.

Interaction with all our students on Regular On-Line Classes, Webinars, Tests, Examinations in Online mode etc during lockdown
22-04-2020We were thinking as to how to speak with all our students, and thought if we can run Online Classes why not On-Line Meeting and that's all. Thanks to Internet, we all did it today with presence of over 500 Students of BBA Course today @ ITS Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad - PG Campus (Itsugbbabca Mohannagar, BBA BCA at ITS Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, Itspgcampus Mohan Nagar)!
It was great discussion, through Online with the myself, Prof. Nancy Sharma (Vice principal), Prof Uttam Sharma - Chairperson BBA Course, Prof. Pawan Kumar Singh, Prof. Khan Aadil & Dr. Sandeep Garg (Coordinators of BBA Course) presence of students, but still very useful, interactive and simply awesome! It was wonderful experience to intercat with all our students of BBA Course since the Lockdown started apart from their Regular On-Line Classes, Webinars, Tests, Examinations in Online mode etc. Happy to see our students supporting and coming forward to appreciate the efforts of Institute.

25-04-2020An special session on “Software Testing - In's & Out and Career Options” was organized on 25th April, 2020 for our students. In this Session Mr. Puneet Prakash Nigam, our MCA Alumni (2004), with experience of over 15+ Years, was the Key Resource Person from Conduent Business Services (I) LLP Senior Manager, App Dev & Support.
This session was focused to those students who want to pursue their career in Software Testing Domain. In the Session, Mr. Nigam talked about the latest trends in IT Industry and explained the important attributes of communication needed for a successful start of career. He also guided them as how to prepare themselves. The session was very interactive, informative and knowledge enriching.
In this Session. Mr Puneet discussed about the concepts, process and significance of Software Testing in Software Development Life Cycles and outcomes of each phase of cycle, Static and Dynamic Testings with its types. He advised students to be focused on basics as it gives them confidence as specific techniniques may be learnt while learning/ training. The session was full of learning and interaction for the students.

30-04-2020One of the finest and versatile actors of Bollywood, known predominantly for his work in Hindi cinema, British and American films in his career spanned over 30 Years and recipient of Padma Shri - India's fourth highest civilian honor, National Film Award, an Asian Film Award, and four Film fare Awards. We still remember his visit to ITS Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad @ ITS UG Campus and wonderful interaction with our faculty team, students and staff members. A great human being and incredible personality. You will always be in our memories. We pray to almighty that his departed soul rests in peace.
