I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized Quantum Computing Day for BCA First and Second Year Students on 16th April, 2025
16-04-2025The Department of IT at I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized Quantum Computing Day on 16th April 2025 for BCA First and Second Year students. The event aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of the emerging and transformative field of Quantum Computing. The event included two major segments: Poster/3D Model Presentations and PowerPoint Presentations on Quantum Computing topics. These sessions provided students with a platform to showcase their creativity, technical knowledge, and presentation skills. In the Poster/3D Model Presentation, students visually represented quantum computing concepts through models and posters. Judges Prof. Alok Kapil, Prof. Saroj Kumari, and Prof. Shweta Kumar praised the originality and clarity of the displays. The PowerPoint Presentation segment featured well-researched talks on topics such as quantum bits, algorithms, and their applications. Judges Prof. Monika Kansal, and Prof. Shivom Tiwari appreciated the students' confidence and depth of understanding. Students from both years participated with enthusiasm, demonstrating teamwork, critical thinking, and a passion for advanced technology. The event boosted their confidence and encouraged exploration of future tech trends. Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director of I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus, and Dr. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal, commended the students for their commendable efforts, creativity, and active participation, emphasizing the importance of staying aligned with evolving technological advancements.
I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Campus has organized Navtarang & WYSIWYG-2025 (19 th Annual Inter College Cultural Fest) on April 21 st 22nd, 2025.
22-04-2025Navtarang & WYSIWYG-2025 is an Annual Inter Institutional Cultural Fest that features a multitude of events. The event aims to provide a platform to our students, as well as from various Institutes/universities to flourish and unveil their talent. The fest included 23 different events for the students and the fest was the confluence of literary and cultural events as well. The programme was grand success & entertaining as well. The Inaugural Ceremony was held at Chanakaya Auditorium of I.T.S Mohan Nagar Campus Director UG & IT Dr. Sunil Pandey, Director Mgmt.(PGDM) Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director Mgmt.(MBA) Dr. V.N. Bajpai, Vice Principal UG – Prof.(Dr.) Nancy Sharma and Navtarang & WYSIWYG-2025 core team graced the event by spreading their enthusiastic spree. It was followed by welcome speech by Director UG & IT Dr. Sunil Pandey-he motivated the students for participating in such platform to showcase their talent, Director Mgmt. (PGDM) Dr. Ajay Kumar,-he informed students about importance of such events , Director Mgmt.(MBA) Dr. V.N. Bajpai-describe the event, Vice Principal UG – Prof. Nancy Sharma – welcomed the participants and wished them good luck. Students performed in various cultural events such as "Taal-Se-Taal Mila-(Group Dance)", Natraj- (Solo Dance), "Meri Aawaz Suno (Solo Singing)", Vaad Vivad (Debate), "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara-(Duet Singing)", Kalam - Ke- Sipahi-(Creative Writing), Udhayam-(Business Plan), Rangon Se Kahani (T-Shirt Painting), “Nukkad Natak –(Street Play)”,"Abhimukh- (Face Painting)", "Rang-De-Dhara-(Rangoli)", “Rang Roop Utsav-(Fashion Show)”, “Taal Tarang-(Battle of Band)”, “Avishkar-(Best out of waste)”,”Jo Dikhta Hai Wo Bikta Hai-(Ad- Mad Show)”, “Manch Sanchalan-(Poetry/Mimicry/Shayari)”, “Bujho to Jane- (Quiz)”, “Shringar - (Nail Art/Tattoo Making)”, “Shabdon Ki Paheli-(Cross Words)”,” Aakriti- (Poster Making)”,” Geet Gata Chal -(Antakshari), ”Ankaon Ki Jung-(SUDOKU)” & “Shabdon Ka Safa –(Rap Battle). The main attraction of this gala event was “Mr. Karthik”- Singer & Composer- Special Talented Personality and Celebrity Night by “Mr. Rahul Jain-Famous Bollywood Singer” sang sensation with melodious voice on Day 2, touched the heart of each individual. All the events started at the different venues with great enthusiasm. It was truly a mesmerizing show as the teams from various colleges presented in many activities. In all the events more than 2500 students from Deen Dayal Upadhaya College, Gargi College, Hans Raj College, Hindu College, Ramjas College and many more from Delhi University, Bharti Vidhyapeeth, Rukmani Devi, JIMS, Maharaja Agarsen, Trinity, Technia from Indraprastha University, AKG, Hi-Tech, ITS Engg., K.E.C, K.I.E.T, Mangalmay etc from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, IPEM, IIMT, IMS-Law, RCCVC etc from Chaudhary Charan Singh University participated with full enthusiasm & enjoyment.

05-04-2025The visit to Startup Maha Kumbh 2025 was a remarkable opportunity for the students to explore India’s largest startup and innovation event. Startup Mahakumbh is India's biggest startup event, happening from April 3-5, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This year's theme is Startup India @ 2047: Unfolding the Bharat Story," focusing on India startup ecosystems journey and vision over the next two decades. students of BBA first year participated in the visit engaging enthusiastically in various exhibitions, startup stalls, panel discussions, and masterclasses. They gained valuable insights into: Networking with entrepreneurs, incubators, and industry leaders - Startup Maharathi Challenge: A high-impact platform to identify and accelerate India's most promising early to growth-stage startups. Mentoring Sessions: Opportunities for startups to learn from industry experts and thought leaders. Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals.Students also participated in interactive quizzes, won merchandise, and appreciated live demonstrations and product showcases. Their proactive participation was recognized by several startup exhibitors and organizers. The visit served as a motivational and enriching experience, helping students connect their academic learning with real-world innovations. 07-04-2025The Women Cell of I.T.S. College, UG Campus, organized an informative "Cervical Cancer Awareness Session" to educate girl students about cervical cancer, its prevention, and the importance of early detection. The session featured Dr. Vineeta Rastogi as the guest speaker, who provided valuable insights into this preventable yet serious disease. She explained how poor diet and hygiene can weaken the immune system, increasing the risk of infections such as HPV—the primary cause of cervical cancer. Dr. Rastogi also discussed key symptoms like abnormal vaginal bleeding and post-coital bleeding. She highlighted the importance of early diagnosis through biopsy in cases of abnormal screening results. Regular screening through Pap smears every three years or HPV co-testing every five years was strongly recommended for early detection. A major part of the session focused on the HPV vaccine as a vital preventive measure. Dr. Rastogi recommended two doses for girls aged 9 to 25, and three doses for those above 25, assuring the students of the vaccine’s safety and effectiveness.

Themed "Startup India @2047—Unfolding the Bharat Story", the event featured over 3,000 startups, 1,000+ investors, and 50,000+ business visitors, representing multiple innovation sectors such as AI, DeepTech, HealthTech, FinTech, AgriTech, Mobility, Cybersecurity, and more. The students engaged enthusiastically in various exhibitions, startup stalls, panel discussions, and masterclasses. They gained valuable insights into: • The real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning • Startup business models and pitching strategies • Innovations in HealthTech, FinTech, and AgriTech • Networking with entrepreneurs, incubators, and industry leaders Students also participated in interactive quizzes, won merchandise, and appreciated live demonstrations and product showcases. It is expected to open doors for broader academic and cultural collaboration providing students with opportunities to enhance their linguistic skills and global competencies. The ceremony commenced with a address of the Director Sir and Vice Principal Ma’am who emphasized the importance of multilingualism in today’s globalized world. This was followed by insightful speech from the guest Mr. Akshay Jain, Director, CoLingo, The Language School. The students enthusiastically listened to the talk and witnessed the whole event. They also got an opportunity to interact with the guest & the Professors. Overall, the event was a success.

Our Fashion Show Team (Akanksha Kumari, Aakansha, Aryan Mishra, Ayushi Pal, Deepak,Isha Dagar, Ishika, Karin, Mayank, Nancy and Sonia Rawat) of BCA and BBA Courses participated in the event and won First Prize in the competition. The students competed with teams of Noida International University, Modern College of Professional Studies and Modern College of Law. The students’ innovative designs were recognized by judges and fellow participants. We congratulate our talented students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication.

The Resource person of the session was CA Sakshi Sharma, Founder- Sakshi Sharma & Associates. The objective of this session was to develop the awareness of Legal and ethical issues faced by startups. This session created awareness about Government Policies related to Startups among students. It provided knowledge related to the funding and registration of Startups and different schemes which can be used for cost deduction in planning a startup.
