ITS UG Campus participated in Poster Making Competition organized be CCS University, Meerut in Collaboration with Department of Fine Arts on “Death Anniversary of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh” on April 29, 2022
29-04-2022The objective behind participation in poster making competition is to bring out the creative expression of students and to gauge their knowledge and awareness about the role of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh in fighting for Independent India.
02 students (01 from BCA 1st Year & 01 from BCA 2nd Year) is participated in Poster making competition. In the starting Dr. J.A. Siqqiqui (Dy. Librarian, CCSU, Meerut) & Dr. Alka Tiwari (Coordinator, Deptt. Of Fine Arts, CCSU, Meerut) brief about the history of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh. After it they also brief about the rules & regulation of poster making competition, then they distribute the white chart paper to the students for Essay writing. Time limit for the essay writing is 90 minutes (12:00 Noon- 01:30 PM). In this Poster making Competition more than 35 colleges participated which is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. The evaluation of poster making competition was based on Relevance to the theme, Creativity, Message Conveyed and thought process. They provide Certificate of Participation to all the Participants & best 03 participants get a trophy & cash prizes.
I.T.S UG Campus organised a workshop on Effective Communication Skills for BBA and BCA Final Year Students on 26 April 2022 under the guidance & support of Director UG- Dr.Sunil Kumar Pandey & Vice Principal UG- Prof. Nancy Sharma
26-04-2022The objective behind this workshop is to enhance personal communication effectiveness of the students and to make them understand communication as a strategic tool in achieving organizational effectiveness.
Prof. Yachana Malhotra of I.T.S School of Management was the eminent speaker of the session. In her address, she informed the students that effective communication skills are critical for a student's career. In today's competitive world, the most sought-after quality of an educated person is business communication skills. Student’s three most critical communication skills are reading, writing, and careful listening which she emphasized on her workshop.
Students were quiet enthusiastic in the workshop and participate in all the activities conducted during the workshop.
I.T.S UG Campus organised a workshop on Learning through Management Games for BBA and BCA Final Year Students on 28 April, 2022 under the guidance & support of Director UG- Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey & Vice Principal UG- Prof. Nancy Sharma
28-04-2022The purpose of this workshop was to motivate students and teach them the value of teamwork.
Prof. (Dr) D.K. Pandey was the eminent speaker of the workshop. He stated during his deliberations that team building is a critical technique used in the corporate world and classroom to foster collaboration, problem solving, and decision-making. He also stressed the importance of team-building activities for students, stating that "guiding group members through intentional games can help them improve their communication skills with one another, which will transfer to their work or club projects later.
It was a wonderful session full of learning, interaction and engagement. Students participated actively in the exercises conducted during the workshop. Students asked many questions which were well answered by the speaker.

29-04-2022The objective of participation in essay writing competition is to give students the opportunity to demonstrate their reading, thinking and writing skills in a well-connected and compact manner.
02 students (01 from BCA 1st Year & 01 from BBA 3rd Year) had participated in Essay writing competition. In the beginning Dr. J.A. Siqqiqui (Dy. Librarian, CCSU, Meerut) & Dr. Alka Tiwari (Coordinator, Deptt. Of Fine Arts, CCSU, Meerut) briefed about the history of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh. After it they also briefed about the rules & regulation of essay writing competition, followed by distribution of blank sheets to the students for Essay writing. Time limit for the essay writing is 60 minutes (11:00 am – 12:00 Noon). In this essay writing competition more than 35 colleges participated which is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. The evaluation of Essay writing was based on Facts & insights, creativity, writing and language. They provide Certificate of Participation to all the Participants & best 03 participants get a trophy & cash prizes.

I.T.S UG Campus Launches “INCHOATE” under the “Campus-to-Corporate “Initiatives held on 27 April, 2022
27-04-2022The objective behind this program is to smoothen the transition from an immature and inexperienced college graduate to a corporate ready individual. It aims to curate and develop necessary skills and envisions imparting individual approach to level up their journey. A program which envisions representing a class of educated and self-aware individuals who would be valued for their professionalism.
There were two rounds in “INCHOATE “In the first round, there are two activities:
1) Corporate Discussion
2) Case Study Analysis
Students had a choice to opt for any of the two or both the activities based on your preference. Only those students who have qualified in the first round moved to the next round, which is ‘Business Idea Presentation’.
I.T.S UG Campus organized Industry Visit to Network Bulls, for BCA 4th Semester Students on April 28, 2022
28-04-2022The objective behind this industry visit was to make the students familiar about networking domain and working process of Network Devices under the guidance of Network Expert.
An Industrial Visit to Network Bulls was organized for the Students of BCA 4th Semester .Total 48 students went for the visit. They were briefed about IP Addressing IPV4 ,IPV6 and Mode of communications. In the session, the expert also briefed about various networking equipment, including Hub, Bridge, Switch, and routers. He also highlighted different key terms of networking, such as IP address, MAC addresses, ARP, RARP, DHCP, and port number. Students got to know about CCNA, CCNP and CCIE certification which is necessary to become the expert in domain of network and related security. Student also visited advance lab of computer network.

I.T.S UG Campus, Math Club – Mathskeeters and Fine Arts Club - Artea jointly organized Inter College Competition “Mathematics Olympiad and Poster Making Slogan Writing, Collage Making and Rangoli Competition” on April 28, 2022
28-04-2022To give wings to problem solving skills, analytical thinking and innovative ideas of young minds the Maths Club & Fine Arts Club has organized this competition. The Fine Arts Club competition was based on the theme of: Earth Day, Environment Protection, IT Wastes. In Mathematics Olympiad students were given different numerical problems to solve under defined time limit. The competition witnessed the huge participation from different schools & colleges of Delhi-NCR. Students gave full expression to their creative ideas and made eye catching rangoli and beautiful posters. The participants were geared up and confident to prove their problem solving skills. The competition was tough and it was an uphill task for the judges to shortlist the winners.
In Mathematics Olympiad, Mr. Yuval Goel from I.T.S College (BCA III year), Mr. Himanshu Passey from I.T.S College (BCA II year) and Ms. Prathibha Churasia from I.T.S College (BCA II year), Ms. Poonam from Sarvodaya Co-Education Vidyalaya won the first, second, third, consolation prize respectively.
In Poster Making Slogan Writing, Collage Making and Rangoli Competition, Ms. Ishika Malik from I.T.S College (BBA II year) won the first prize. She was awarded with cash prize, trophy and certificate. Mr. Fareed from Hi-Tech College won second prize and Ms. Yukta Goel from I.T.S College (BBA II year) won third prize. They were awarded with trophy and certificate.

I.T.S. UG Campus organized an Industry Visit to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi for BBA & BCA I Year Students on April 20, 2022
20-04-2022The objectiveof the industry visit was to provide the students an insight into internal working ofcompanies since theoretical knowledge is not enough for a successful professional career.
To fulfil the above objective, ITS Mohan Nagar, UG Campus took the students of BBA & BCA I Year to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi. On arrival, the students were gathered in the Seminar Hall where a presentation on the history of Mother Dairy was narrated by Ms. Neha. The students got to know about the 21 quality tests including presence of foreign matter and bacteriological tests. The quality of milk accepted and dispatched meets certain predetermined standards. They also showed various processes such as Clarification, Homogenization, Standardization and Pasteurization, to ensure that it is safe for human consumption.
Later, the students were taken to the department where the procured milk from various places is brought to the factory. The milk samples are tested for quality check and then transferred to the tanks where the impurities are removed by applying centripetal force. After removing the impurities, the milk is then transferred to the SILOs which have a capacity to hold 1 Lakh litres of milk. The milk is then pasteurized by heating it to 72 degrees centigrade held for 15 seconds and then rapidly cooled down to 4 degrees centigrade so that all the pathogens and bacteria present in the milk are killed and it does not spoil for at least 48 hours. The pasteurized milk is then packaged/ transferred to insulated vans which ferry them to the desired Mother Dairy outlets in Delhi NCR region.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the visit which was full of learning for them since they understood the procurement, quality check, production, and packaging and distribution function of the plant.The students had a lot of queries which were answered to the satisfaction of the students by the presenter.
I.T.S UG Campus organized “CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY FOR COMPLETION OF INTERNSHIP AT YAKULT” For BBA 2ND Year on April 21, 2022
21-04-2022The Ceremony started in the presence of Director –UG, Prof. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Vice Principal- UG Prof Nancy Sharma, Chairperson – BBA, Prof. AadilKhan,and Coordinator –BBA 2nd year Prof. Amit Sharma, UG- Placement team members, Prof. Amit Singh, Ms. Divya Gupta & the students who have completed their Internship at Yakult.
Director sir and Vice principal mam congratulate to all the students for their successful completion of internship then Director Sir asked all the students to share their experiences during the internship. Students shared their experiences about what they learned in the internship and what are the challenges they faced during Internship. Director sir and Vice principal mam also guided and suggested all the students about the expectations of today’s industry from the students. At the end students also shared the working culture of Yakult and how it helped in making their career toward these industries.
After experience sharing session, Director –UG Prof. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Vice Principal- UG Prof Nancy Sharma distributed the certificate to all the students. Below are the names who received the Certificate of Yakult Internship:

I.T.S UG Campus organized Industry Visit to Network Bulls, for BCA Students on April 26, 2022
26-04-2022The objective behind thisvisit was to give students insight about basics of computer network.
To develop an understanding of different components of computer networks, various protocols, modern technologies and their applications this visit was organized.Mr. Abhishek from Network Bulls briefed the students about computer network role in communication. During visit students learnt about IP addressing scheme and benefits of DHCP, DNS, Telnet to make the network more scalable.Students got to know that how CISCO packet tracer is helpful in creating the simulation of any LAN.In demo session students were introduced about L2 , L3 switches, routers and learnt the key point of differences. Some hands on commands like ipconfig, traceroute, nslookup, ping etc. were also discussed to give more clarity to students. Students also got the knowledge about steps of router configuration and role of gateway in controlling user access . Students were briefed about the significance of fast Ethernet 0/0, 0/1, auxiliary port and console port. Mr. Abhishek also briefed the students about future carrier options in the field of networking. Students got to know about CCNA, CCNP and CCIE certification which is necessary to become the expert in domain of network and related security.
Students were curious to know about networking devices and their installation process.All the queries of students were handled properly by Mr. Abhishek and his team.
