
I.T.S. Mohan Nagar UG Campus Students participated in the Epoque@Prastuti’24 of KIET Group of Institutions on 12th April 2024. Our Fashion Show Team (Akanksha Kumari, Aakansha, Aryan Mishra, Ayushi Pal, Deepak,Isha Dagar, Ishika, Karin, Mayank, Nancy and Sonia Rawat) of BCA and BBA Courses participated in the event and won First Prize in the competition. Ms. Aakansha Kumari won the Title of Miss Fashion Icon 2024, and was highly appreciated by judges for her confident walk and charisma. The students competed with teams of Sunderdeep College, GGDSD College Chandigarh, NIT Jalandhar, Galgotia University, and KIET College. They performed exceptionally well in the competition showcasing their creativity and talent in Fashion Design and Modeling. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding performance.
I.T.S. Mohan Nagar UG Campus Student participated in the SANKETH organized by SDGI Global University on 04th April 2024. The Student of BCA 2nd year, Shivalika Kaushik participated in the event of Business Plan Competition. She won the first prize in the competition. She received a Trophy and a Certificate.
In continuous efforts to enhance the skills and mind-set of our students, IIC of I.T.S Mohan Nagar -UG campus organised Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights” for BBA & BCA students. Trainer of the workshop CS Shivam Sharma , Chairman Ghaziabad Chapter of Institute of Company Secretaries of India briefed the audience about the role of IPR in success and development of any organization . He is also associated with CAT DGR , CMA Noida Headquarter and Ministry of Defence. Another Trainer of the workshop CS Sundeep Kumar Parashar is a Fellow member of ICSI & Trade Marks Agent . He has an experience of more than two and half decades in diverse fields of Corporate Laws , FEMA , Taxation , POSH , Labour Laws, Human Resource etc. CS Sundeep Kumar Parashar introduced the students to the whole new world of trade marks , copy rights, patents, trade secrets and geographical indicators. The students were actively engaged by both the trainers with the help of various activities and short stories . Students discussed various points about the relevance and working of IPR laws. The Workshop was also attended by the faculties of BBA & BCA Department.
Navtarang is an Annual Inter Institutional Cultural Fest that features a multitude of events. The event aims to provide a platform to our students, as well as from various Institutes/universities to flourish and unveil their talent. The fest included 22 different events from the confluence of literary and cultural events. The programme was grand success & entertaining as well. The Inaugural Ceremony was held at Chanakaya Auditorium of I.T.S Mohan Nagar Campus Director UG & IT- Dr.Sunil Pandey, Vice Principal UG - Prof. Nancy Sharma and Navtarang core team graced the event by spreading their enthusiastic spree. It was followed by welcome speech by Director UG & IT Dr.Sunil Pandey-he motivated the students for participating in such platform to showcase their talent, Vice Principal UG – Prof. Nancy Sharma – welcomed the participants and wished them good luck. Inaugural Ceremony accomplished with astonishing performance by the students of Chadha Public School. Students performed in various cultural events such as "Taal-Se-Taal Mila-(Group Dance)", Natraj- (Solo Dance), "Meri Aawaz Suno (Solo Singing)", Debate (Vaad Vivad), "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara-(Duet Singing)", Kalam - Ke- Sipahi-(Creative Writing), Udhayam-(Business Plan), Artzee (T-Shirt Painting), “Street Play – (Nukkad Natak)”,"Abhimukh- (Face Painting)", "Rang-De-Dhara-(Rangoli)", “Ramp Roadies-(Fashion Show)”, “War of Band-(Battle of Band)”, “Avishkar-(Best out of waste)”,”Jo Dikhta Hai Wo Bikta Hai-(Ad-Mad Show)”, “Manch Sanchalan-(Poetry/Mimicry/Shayari)”, “Bujho to Jane- (Quiz)”, “Shringar - (Nail Art/Tattoo Making)”, “Mind Bender-(Cross Words)”,” Exhibitor (Poster Making)”,” Geet Gata Chal -(Antakshari), ”Number Mystifier-(SUDOKU)” . The event was concluded with Celebrity Night in the evening hours on 26th April, 2023 in which famous Singer Shruti Pathak performed live at the Institute. Students of various Universities from Delhi/NCR enjoyed this musical extravaganza. The programme was grand success & entertaining. All the events started at the different venues with great enthusiasm. It was truly a mesmerizing show as the teams from various colleges presented in many activities. In all the events more than 2500 students from Deen Dayal Upadhaya College, Gargi College, Hans Raj College, Hindu College, Ramjas College and many more from Delhi University, Bharti Vidhyapeeth, Rukmani Devi, JIMS, Maharaja Agarsen, Trinity, Tecnia from Indraprastha University, AKG, Hi-Tech, ITS Engg., K.E.C, K.I.E.T, Mangalmay etc from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, IPEM, IIMT, IMS-Law, RCCVC etc from Chaudhary Charan Singh University participated with full enthusiasm & enjoyment.
I.T.S. Mohan Nagar UG Campus Students participated in the Bizstreet, fest of Commerce Society of Shri Ram College of Commerce (DU) from March 28th, 2023 to April, 01st 2023. Students of BBA and BCA actively participated in various events like Case Blitz, Genesis, Barrato and Dynasty Doom etc. The students competed with the students of premier institutes including colleges of Delhi Universities, IITs & IIMs. The students were excited and they had a great learning experience.
The keynote speaker for this workshop was Dr Anuradha Chug, Associate Professor, USICT, GGSIP University, Delhi. The workshop was started with a brief introduction to “Smart Farming”, innovation, sustainability and digital transformation of agriculture. Smart farming is based on data from sensors, cloud platform storage and data analytics, all three concepts need to be implemented. The data is collected from different sensors and stored in a cloud-based back end support, which is then analyzed using proper analytics techniques, and then the relevant information is transferred to a user interface, which naturally supported the decision to conclude. The IOT applications mainly use sensors to monitor the situation, which collects a huge amount of data every day, so in the case of the Internet of Things (IOT) application, sensors contribute more. Data analytics requires data storage, data aggregation, data processing and data extraction. In order to extract information from the dataset, we need to use data mining techniques; it plays a significant role in the selection-making process on several agricultural issues. The motive behind this workshop was to give the live exposure to the students on smart agriculture sector. The session aimed to give the live demonstration and practical knowledge by applying machine learning using the IOT Data Analytics in agricultural sector. The use of machine learning and IOT in agriculture mainly reduces problems, predicts crops, predicts yield manages livestock, detects leaf diseases, recognizes crops and detects disease early. The session started from the very basics of machine learning and IOT. Total 92 students (29 MCA & 63 BCA) and 23 faculties (UG/PG) attended this workshop.. Dr Anuradha Chug and her team members gave the demonstration of data collection using sensors, loggers. The entire session was extremely informative and practically beneficial for students. It not only gave them an insight on the topic but also gave the live demo to collect the information regarding data through Data Loggers, Sensors. Overall it proved to be a two way interaction in which students were very comfortable with the speaker and asked their queries without hesitation. Dr. Chug and her team members answered all the queries very calmly and properly.
The objective of this workshop was to make the students aware about “Personal Wealth Management”.Dr. Anusha Agarwal, Professor-Finance, I.T.S School of Management-Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad was the resource person of this workshop. She started the session by giving the brief introduction about importance and relevance of personal wealth management. During the workshop she has discussed the roadmap to financial freedom in detail. She has discussed about financial planning process, steps involved in managing wealth and told the students that through proper financial planning people may create sinking funds which may be used later to solve emergency needs. She cited the example of Cafe Coffee Day and discussed about equity, fixed income, inflation insurance etc. to have better understanding about the personal wealth management. Overall, It was a knowledge enriching workshop for the students.
The objective of the workshop was to provide Basic knowledge of Python , HTML, CSS, Javascript, understanding of working on Django framework and finally to build web applications . This 2- Days workshop was taken through Offline mode. Toal 40 students appeared for the 2- Day workshop . Students of BCA 2nd Sem , BCA 4th Sem & BCA 6th Sem attended this workshop. After covering basic knowledge of HTML , CSS , students designed their own static form . Students configured their laptop with Django environment and Pycharm. They also implement the CRUD application under the guidance of trainer and Faculties present there. Following points were discussed in the workshop: S. No. Topic 1. Introduction to Python 2. At the end students were give a module to develop.
The objective behind this competition is to celebrate the beauty of self- expression through the timeless art of tattoos that adds a touch of edge. The students showcase their skills, creativity and imagination as they bring to life the tales etched on the skin. All UG Students Participated in the Competition, Students were quiet enthusiast in the event. They appeared on time and were happy Drawing, drew many beautiful and creative tattoos. Some students were also involved in helping each others as a model for their tattoo. Overall ARTEA – Tattoo competition Organized by Fine Arts Club for UG Students was a successful event.
The members of Fashionista- The Fashion Club participated in the Fashion Show Competition during Sankalp 2023 at GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida on April 01, 2023. A total of 8 teams from colleges and universities participated in the event. The team from ITS picked up the theme of inclusion of LGBTQ community and fashioned their clothes as well as choreography around that theme. ITS got the participation certificates during the event.
