I.T.S UG campus organised an Industry Visit to JBM Industries Ltd, Faridabad, Haryana for BBA second year students, Batch (2018-2021)on February 13,2020
13-02-2020Keeping an eyeon the competitive environment for overall development of students and to enhance knowledge and avail practical exposure of the production process of a manufacturing plant,an Industry Visit to JBM Industries was organized. The students were warmly welcomed by the officers and staff alike. Mr.Sudhanshu Kumar - Head HR, himself presented the history, structure and operations of the plant. He along with team of production engineers made the students to have a round of the plant and products being produced for various clients. Students learnt the actual manufacturing process over there and also asked many questions from the expert and got satisfactory answers. The visit was a good learning experience for students.
An Article Review Competition for BBA/ BCA students has been organized by Library Club – ‘Franklin’ on February 10, 2020.
10-02-2020The Library Club – Franklin of ITS UG Campus has organized an Article Review Competition for BBA/BCA students, on February 10, 2020. The objective has been to reawaken the spirit of participation among the students in this activity and also to improve their reading , writing, mental exercise and memory retrieval Skills, attitude of gaining knowledge and development of overall personality. Competition will definitely help them in gaining knowledge, and also in improving their overall skill development.
Students had been enthusiast in registering for the event and 25 students have registered for the participation. However, finally 18 participants took part in the event
I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus Organized Workshop on “Run , Jump& Fly”, on 7/2/2020
07-02-2020The objective behind the conductance of this Workshop is to increase the employability potential of the students. Workshop was conducted by Dr.S .Chandrasekar , famous Corporate & B-School Trainer having experience of about 30 years in the field and association with more than 350 Business Schools . The session covered the topics like goal setting , time management , inter personal relationships, importance of short term goals , team building , etc... Students have learnt these with the help of various fun filled activities.
TWO DAY’S WORKSHOP ON FINANCIAL MODELLING
22-02-2020Dr.CharuMalhotra &Prof. VaijayantiAnand attended“Workshop on Financial Modelling” organized by Apeejay School of Management , Dwarka , New Delhi on 22& 23 February 2020 . The objective of the workshopis to analyze the annual report and investor report of the company for the purpose of valuation of the shares of company.The workshop is conducted byDr. Sudhi Sharma & CA VaibhavAggarwal. Faculty from various colleges and institutes from Delhi – NCR along with students and corporate persons attended the workshop.The workshop was interactive and knowledge enhancement for the faculty.

I.T.S - UG Campus - Fine Arts Club-“ARTEA” organized “Class Room Board Decoration Competition” for BCA & BBA students on February 5, 2020.
05-02-2020Decoration holds a lot of cultural significance in Indian traditions. Be it weddings, festivals or other occasions, decoration using colored paper, chart, flowers etc plays an important role in all the ceremonies of India. In today’s era of modernization, the new styles of decoration are coming up, adding glamour, creativity and fun to it. To give wings to creativity, innovative ideas and imagination of students the Fine Arts Club has organized this event. Students from all the three years of BBA & BCA course actively participated in the event and have shown their talent. Among the participants the team of Fareed Khan(BCA II year)and Soumya Singh(BCA-I year) won the first prize. The team of Tanya Chauhan and Manan Gupta from BCA II year grabbed the second prize. From BBA I year the team of Abhay Bansal and Simmi Mani Tripathi won the third prize respectively.
I.T.S UG Campus organized a visit to Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi for attending debate on “Delhi Elections” organized by News 18 on 3rd February, 2020.
03-02-2020The objective behind this visit to News 18 show is that students will gain knowledge about accurate and fair news stories across a variety of journalists. Students will develop public relations on behalf of clients that communicate targeted message and reach multiple audiences.
Total 44 students participated in this event from all years of BBA and BCA. The students participated in the debate on “Delhi Elections”, represented their views on this sensitive issue and shown their positive presence in that burning social matters.
Some of the party leaders who were the speakers of the show were: Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shri. Shudhanshu Trivedi, Mr. Gaurav, Mr. Sanjay Singh, Mr. Sambit Patra, Ms. Ragini, Shri Manoj Tiwari and Shri. Arvind Kejriwal . It was a great learning for the students.
I.T.S UG Campus organized “World Cancer Day” by Theatre Club for BBA/BCA students on 4th February 2020.
04-02-2020The Objective to organize World Cancer Day was to build a proper idea and plan to fight against the Cancer disease and also to make the people aware of every possible measure and idea to make the disease completely curable.
World Cancer Day has initiated by the WHO on Feb 4th every year to create awarenes through many preventive measures and unite together to fight against the global cancer epidemic. To make this campaign more informative theater club students have played a Nukkad Natak on causes & prevention to avoid cancer. Students provided some facts on widely spreading cancer in India. On this day students have prepared posters and slogans to make the audience aware. Director UG- Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey addressed the students on this day & Vice Principal-Prof. Nancy Sharma motivated the students to keep on participating in such activities, Chairpersons, Club Conveners and all faulty members graced the occasion.
I.T.S UG Campus is organized “Extempore” The spur of the moment by “Achievers” of HR Club for BBA/BCA students on 6th February 2020.
06-02-2020Objective: With an objective for the overall development of our students and to become Spontaneous, which is very much needed in the corporate world. The HR club activities are organized to promote the team spirit and implement the HR concepts practically.
HR club organized “Extempore”The spur of the moment on 6th Feb,2020 for all BBA and BCA students. Students not only showcased their thought process but also the impromptu ability to use the cognitive skill on the spot. There were 10 participants come up with their talent, all the students had performed extraordinary. We definitely welcome the new talent from first year which has come up with great Zeal. Winners of the event were from final year BCA student, and Second position was secured from BBA Second year and the third position was secured by two students of BCA 1st Year. Altogether the Event was really fun filled and Knowledge sharing.
I.T.S UG Campus organized “Industry Visit” to Zee News,Studio Film City- Sector 16 Noida, for BBA and BCA Studentson February 9, 2020
09-02-2020The objective of the industry visit was to provide the students an insight into internal working of organizations. Industry visit provides an excellent opportunity for students, to interact with industry persons and know more about its environment.
Zee News, the Nation's No. 1 News Channel launched the “KAVI YUDDHA 2019”. It is a poetic battle of various Hindi poets from various states of India to discuss about the current issues.All these poets & poetess presented their views on upcoming results of Delhi elections in very interesting way. Students saw the live performance of various poets in zee news studio. They also learnt about how to host and record the programs. Overall, this industry visit was an eye-opener for the students.

Total 46 students from BBA & BCA courses along with Faculty Members- Dr. Nidhi Agarwal& Prof. Neeraj Kumar Jain participated in the event and enjoyed their visit to news studio.
