
The primary objective of a guest lecture on Inventory Theory was to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, models, and optimization techniques used in inventory management. Specifically, the goals are to introduce core concepts, explore optimization models, apply theoretical models to real-world scenarios, and enhance problem- solving skills. Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sharma, HoD, Dept. of Mathematics, CCSU conducted an insightful guest lecture attended by BCA 2 nd -year students, provided an in-depth analysis of different inventory models. He provided valuable guidance, helping students understand fundamental concepts and their practical applications. The guest lecture on Inventory Theory was a highly successful event, providing students with a deeper understanding of the essential principles behind inventory management and its application in various industries. The session not only enriched participants' academic knowledge but also provided practical insights that can be applied in the workplace.
In collaboration with Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), ITS Mohan Nagar (UG Campus) organized a one day workshop for BBA 2nd-year students (Batch 2023-2026) on "Financial Empowerment Through Investment ". The guests of the event Shri Suryakant Sharma (Sr. Consultant AMFI, Former DGM SEBI) and Dr. Kapil Garg (Assistant Professor - Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi) briefed students on below mentioned topics 1. To enhanced financial literacy and investment knowledge among BBA students. 2. To improve financial decision-making skills and risk management strategies. 3. To increased awareness of investment options and strategies. 4. To empowered students to take control of their personal finances and invest for their future.
I.T.S. Mohan Nagar UG Campus Students participated in the Annual Sports Meet of SDGI Global University- SGU Spardha on 28.02.2025 & 01.03.2025. Total 15 students of BCA & BBA participated in games Volleyball and Football. Our Volleyball Team, Pranjal (BCA 2 nd year), Saksham Joshi (BCA 2 nd year), Dushyant Sharma (BCA 2 nd year), Prateek (BCA 1 st year) and Mridul Tyagi (BCA 1 st year) gave cut-throat fight to other competitors and won as runner up in the game. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to winners for their outstanding performance in the competition! Securing the runner-up position against such tough competition from other colleges is a remarkable achievement, and it reflects their hard work, dedication, and team spirit. "Script to Spotlight" is an immersive theatre workshop guiding participants from script analysis to creating confidence in stage performance through interactive training sessions. Mr.Akshyawar Nath Srivastava A Renowned Theatre Artist having 40+ years’ experience in Theatre Industry having his own Association: XIII School of Talent development was there to judge the students, this event was planned with an objective to inspire the audience by demonstrating how theatre brings people together, fosters personal growth, and creates a space for self-expression and storytelling. Moreover the workshop offers opportunities to enhance skills and transform stories and scripts into spotlight performances. Participants engage in diverse activities centered on various themes, allowing them to explore different aspects of theatre and improve their creative abilities. This fosters personal growth and helps to bring unique stories to life on stage.

The 2-day workshop on AI and Data Science was held from 1st–2nd February 2025 at IIT Delhi, organized by BECON, IIT Delhi in collaboration with I.T.S, Ghaziabad. It was designed for BCA I & II-year students, providing hands-on learning and industry insights.The Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshop was aimed to introduce participants to the core concepts of AI and ML, exploring both theoretical foundations and hands-on applications.The workshop consisted of presentations, live demonstrations, and practical hackathons sessions to ensure participants had a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.Key Sessions and Topics Covered Day 1 The session provided an overview of AI and Machine Learning, highlighting their significance across industries. It covered Supervised Learning, focusing on key ML techniques like classification and regression. Additionally, the discussion introduced Deep Learning, explaining Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) and their role in advanced AI applications. Day 2 The session featured a hands-on ML implementation, where participants coded algorithms using Python and TensorFlow. It explored AI applications across sectors like healthcare, railways, and automotive with real-world examples. Additionally, it covered Generative AI,Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and the significance of hackathons in fostering innovation.
With an objective to enhanced cybersecurity awareness and technical skills among students a Cybersecurity Training for Educators & Students of Higher Education under Microsoft Philanthropies in association with ICT Academy has successfully conducted at UG Campus of Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad from 3rd February, 2025 to 14th February,2025 for the 60 students of BCA Batch 2022-2025. This initiative focused on building a strong foundation in cybersecurity practices to address the increasing risks of cyber threats in the education sector. Mr. UsamaTabish was the resource person for this 70 Hours Training program. During these 10-days training program, participant got exposure of hands-on experience on Network Security Threats and Countermeasures, Cryptography and Web Server & Application Security. All the participants had undergone with two assessments for completion of this certification program. On the last day of training program, a valedictory session was scheduled in the presence of Director-IT & UG, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Vice-Principal UG Campus, Dr. Nancy Sharma, SPOC- ICT, Prof. Saurabh Saxena and the resource person Mr. Usama Tabish. Director-IT & UG, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey shared that such initiatives play a vital role in the career of students. In his address he appreciated the effort of resource person & congratulated the participants on successful completion of training program. Vice-Principal UG Campus, Dr. Nancy Sharma also congratulated the participants and shared the importance of cyber security in today’s world. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Saurabh Saxena.
A Poster Presentation on Innovations was organized by the E-Cell ‘Lakshya’ under Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). Objective: The objective of the activity was to foster Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Start up culture amongst the students. The event provided an opportunity to students to showcase their Innovative Ideas, Entrepreneurial spirit and strategic thinking by presenting them as a Poster. Description: A total of 15 teams, consisting of 1 or 2 members, from BBA & BCA, 1st& 2nd year registered for the event. Each team/individual was allotted a time limit of 5 minutes for presenting their Posters. The students came up with different innovative ideas related to nutritional intake of pets, Recycling Plastic into Shoes, Removing Ink from notebooks through Machine, and other excellent ideas. The judgment was done on the basis of Innovation & Creativity, Feasibility and Viability, Market Potential, Presentation Skills and Query handling. Three teams were adjudged the winners who were awarded with Trophies and certificate of merit. All other participants were given certificate of participation. Learning Outcomes: The entire event was full of insightful learnings for the participants as they learnt the practicability of their business ideas. The event also kindled the desire amongst the students to establish their own ideas into start-ups. Feedbacks from Judges helped students to cover all other aspects which will help them to make their ideas more effective for on ground implementation. Winner Details: First Position: Kaushlesh Agarwal and Sakshi Bisht (BCA IV Sem, Sec D & E) Second Position: Khushboo Verma (BBA II Sem, Sec G) Third Position: Ayushi Sharma and Dipender Singh (BCA IV Sem, Sec D) Trophies along with Certificates of Merit were awarded to the respective winners. All participants were given a Certificate of Participation.
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) an initiative of Ministry of Education organised a “Workshop on Entrepreneurship Skill, Attitude and Behaviour Development” for the 1st and 2nd year students of BBA & BCA Program on Feb. 27, 2024. The objective of the session was to ignite the young minds with the skills required to be a successful entrepreneur. To understand the attitude and the behaviour needed to lead start-ups and businesses. The session was delivered by Ms. Rita Sengupta who has 34 years of Experience in Training, Research and Consultancy in Achievement Motivation, Entrepreneurship Development and Education. Motivation and Excellence, Women Empowerment, Gender, Livelihoods &Micro Enterprise, Training Pedagogy and Impact Assessment. The students were actively engaged by the trainer with the help of various activities to explore their entrepreneurial attributes like innovation , problem solving , financial independence , positive mindset , adversity handling etc.
Ms. Divya Gupta, Manager-Training & Placement, I.T.S. Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad (UG Campus), was the first speaker of the session. She emphasised how important it is to communicate, listen intently, and have the proper attitude at work. She emphasised that these characteristics are fundamental to productive teamwork and team dynamics and explained how precise and unambiguous communication promotes understanding and helps teams avoid misunderstandings. According to her, the key to effective interpersonal interactions is active listening, which enables people to completely understand the perspectives of others and effectively participate in conversations. Overall, her observations demonstrated that these social skills and an optimistic outlook, in addition to technical competence, are essential elements of professional success in any organisational environment. Dr. Vanchan Tripathi, Assistant professor at I.T.S. Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad (UG Campus), led another session. She drew attention to how important change management is in today's corporate environment. She underlined the need of adaptation in the quickly changing marketplaces of today and talked about how businesses need to handle change head-on in order to remain competitive. She went into more detail on how crucial it is to create an environment where change is welcomed, develop employees' resilience, and give them the resources they need to handle changes with ease. According to her, effective change management fosters employee engagement and satisfaction in addition to ensuring organisational adaptability, all of which are crucial for long-term growth and success in the fast-paced corporate world. In addition to discovering their latent talents, the programme helped participants feel happy and revitalised on a mental and emotional level. The session concluded with a sense of pursuit delight.
