ITS UG Campus Conducted Guest Lecture on Banking Regulation Acts for BBA 3rd Semester Students on December 9,2020.
09-12-2020The motive behind this lecture was to expose the students on the topic “Banking Regulation Acts”. The session aimed at providing the students with practical & empirical concepts of various Banking Regulation Acts and also insight to the field banking and financial services. Prof. Dr.Pankaj Kumar Gupta from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi was the speaker of the session gave an overview of the various Banking’s Acts and various legislation in India that regulates all banking firms. He cited various examples and new banking regulation acts. The session was very informative and highly interactive. The speaker emphasized about the recent changes in banking regulations.
I.T.S.UG Campus organized an Online Guest Lecture for BBA 3rd semester students on December 5,2020 on the topic “Wages and Salary Administration”
05-12-2020The objective of the guest lecture is to help students upgrade their knowledge according to the industry requirements. Theoretical knowledge is not enough for a successful professional career. Guest lecture has its own importance for the students who are pursuing a professional degree, with this view . I.T.S UG Campus organized a Guest Lecture on “Wages and Salary Administration” Guest speaker Mr. Deepak Singh Former Vice President Steel Authority of India Ltd.(SAIL)and advisor HR In Saija finance ltd. He has also been associated with ISPAT and ONGC.He Shared his vast experience on Wages and salary administration. He talked about principles and policy governing the wage structure, salary progression, designing allowances. He also talked about Minimum wages, fair wages,living wages,machinery for fixation of wages and factors influencing wages. Total 211 students participated in the lecture. Students had shown keen interest by listening patiently and asking queries.

“Staff Development Programme on Mastering Excel: Journey from Beginners to Advance Level" was organised on December 5 & 12, 2020 for I.T.S staff members.
05-12-2020The objective of this SDP was to improve the day to day efficiency of Staff personnel by making them well versed in various operations of MS Excel. The speaker of the sessions was Dr. Charu Malhotra and Dr. Yamini Negi. Macros, date functions, count functions, advance filters, charts, side by side, preparation of tables, managing multiple sheets and sorting were covered with live examples during two days session. Total 35 staff members participated enthusiastically and enjoyed these sessions.

Dance & Music Club-“Starlighters” organized ‘Showmania’ A Dance & Music Competition’ for BCA and BBA Students on December 11, 2020.
11-12-2020The objective of the event was to provide the students an opportunity and platform to showcase their talent and their artistic exploration. The event was online and the theme of the competition was ‘Free Style’. The competition received an overwhelming response from the students in terms of registration and participation. Students exhibited their extraordinary talent through their dance & music by sending a video of 1-3 minutes of their performance prior to 3 days of the competition. Shortlisted videos were played during the event. The performance of the participants was judged by internal judge Prof.Chanda Jain, Assistant Professor, I.T.S, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad.

Special Session for BCA/BBA Students by Foreign Delegate
10-12-2019A session on Public Management was organized for BBA/BCA students on 10th December 2019. Mr. Li-Ying Chen and Mr. Louis Chih-Hung Liu were the speakers of the session. Students were addressed by First Guest Speaker Dr. Louis on the area of Public Finance and Management. He discussed various terms like Budgeting, Public goods and Public revenue. He concluded his session by close insight on market Failure and comparison of GDP of major south Asian countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Honkong etc., slowdown in the economy and remedial actions.
Mr. Li-Ying Chen highlighted Various Academic Opportunities for Indian Students at Taiwan and different scholarship schemes available for Indian Students.
Question Answer Round also took place wherein various question were raised by students related to the diverse area of discussion. The students were very happy and satisfied with huge international exposure. It was a wonderful session as the speaker presented some useful statistics which created interest in the students.
I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized MCX-IPF COMQUEST 2020 (2nd Edition) – First Round in Association with Multi Commodity Exchange”
09-12-2019In continuous efforts to enhance the academic quality, UG campus has introduced the concept of involving the students in various extra-curricular activities. In this endeavour, MCX-IPF COMQUEST 2020 (2nd Edition) – First Round was organized for BBA students.
Large number of students participated in this online quiz. The quiz was all about basics of commodity trading, commodity derivatives etc.. Students will be awarded e-certificates from Multi Commodity Exchange.

Interactive Sessions on “Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Business Intelligence” for the students of BBA/ BCA on 23rd and 24th September, 2019
23-09-2019It was great to have visiting Professors of I.T.S Ghaziabad - Prof. (Dr.) Ludoslaw Drelihowski and Prof. (Dr.) Zdzislaw Polkowski from Europe. During this visit of about a week at I.T.S, the sessions on Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Business Intelligence were conducted for students of BBA and BCA. All these sessions were full of learning, engaging, interaction and everyone enjoyed and appreciated.
