
Data is an essential part of our daily lives. Organizing and storing data is very important. Data is stored in various ways and formats. It can be either a single set of values or multiple values. A data item refers to a single set of values in general. Data structure stores and organizes a large set of data in computer memory. It ensures the re usability of data efficiently later. Data can be stored logically or mathematically. It can vary depending on the organizational needs and adaptability levels. A data structure is a framework that has been carefully designed to organize, process, retrieve, and store data. To organize data for certain purposes, both simple and complex data structures are devised. Users find it simple to obtain the data they need and use it appropriately thanks to data structures. Data structures help both machines and people to understand how information is organized. This lecture was organized for BCA-II year students. Dr. Anuradha Chug Associate Professor, USICT, GGSIP University, Delhi was the Resource person and expert for the Data Structure C & C++ Programming. She demonstrated different types of graphs generation and data representation . She gave the idea about how the data structure applications are useful in our daily routine work. The motive behind this lecture was to give the expose the students to the topic “Data Structure and its Application using C & C++”. The session aimed at providing the knowledge of Data Structure Applications and how the data structure is connected to our real life. They learned the basic concept and use of the applications of data structure.
The motive behind this lecture was to expose the students on the topic “Computer Fundamentals: An Overview”. The session aimed to describe Computers as an integral part of our lives. Wherever we are—sitting in our homes, working in the office, driving on roads, sitting in a movie hall, staying in a hotel, etc.—our lives are directly or indirectly affected by the computers. In this era of information, we are dependent on the storage, flow and processing of data and information, which can only be possible with the help of computers. The purpose of this lecture is to introduce about the “computer”. The session expert, Dr Bharat Bhushan Sagar BIT Meshra started with why computers are important? How computers works, history of computer, difference between computer hardware and computer software, identify the operating system you have on your own computer and phone, start up and shut down computers properly, use the mouse and keyboard to complete tasks on the computer Identify the different groups of keys on the computer. He also give the basic idea about computer memory and its types. The entire session was extremely informative for students. It not only gave us an insight on the topic of Computer Fundamental, but also on the various functioning from early era to modern era. Overall it proved to be a two way interaction in which students were very comfortable with the speaker and asked their queries without hesitation. Dr. Bharat Bhushan Sagar answered all the queries very calmly and properly.
The objective behind the workshop was to gain research knowledge and development of their thought process and writing skills so that our students can contribute through writing valuable articles with respect to various societal, business and economic issues. In this workshop 25 students from BBA and BCA participated. The students participated very enthusiastically and curiously. During the workshop three sessions were attended by the students. First session was taken by Ms. Anjali Dubey wherein the students learnt about the meaning, layout and way of writing a quality research paper. Students also learnt about how to write an abstract from a research paper. Second session was taken by Dr. Annu Tomar. During this session students learnt the meaning, layout and how to write the review of an article. The last session was taken by Dr. Nidhi Agrawal. She concluded her session throwing a light on the major difference between research paper and article, their usage for the academicians and business professionals, how participants can include quality writing skills for designing the abstract of a research paper and summary of an article. At the end of the workshop, the resource persons were awarded with memento and certificates in the presence of Vice Principal UG, workshop coordinators, faculty members, students and participants. All the participants were also awarded with their participation certificates.
The objective behind this competition was to make the students aware of the research paper and article, to upgrade their knowledge and to develop their thought process and writing skills so that they can contribute through writing valuable articles with respect to various societal, business and economic issues. In this competition student BBA & BCA and 12th class of the school participated. The students had great zeal participate in this competition they read an article based on management and IT concepts that was given to them on the spot. After thoroughly studying the article students prepared the review of the article in their own handwriting. Later on, after the evaluation of the sheets of the competitors, an Award Ceremony was organized on December 22, 2022 wherein all the winners were awarded with trophy, cash prize and certificates in the presence of Director UG, Vice Principal UG, Workshop Coordinators, other faculty members, students and participants. I.T.S, Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad UG Campus organized a workshop under the aegis of Women Cell “She Connect” on “Self- Grooming and Balance Diet for Young Girls” by Ms. Sonia Bakshi, Founder of Dance to Fitness of "WOMEN CELL" On 20th DECEMBER, 2022 for all girl students of I.T.S, UG Campus. Vice Principal- Prof. Nancy Sharma warmly welcomed the guest of the day and also briefed about objective behind formation of Women Cell at UG Campus. In her welcome address she said we are putting our best efforts to empower our girl students. Ms. Sonia took a wonderful workshop with explaining briefly about health, diet, fitness and myths. She said that “Body Fit Hai to Dimag Hit Hai”. She herself was a true source of Inspiration due to her fitness, energy and liveliness. Students were amazed by providing her simple solutions of complex problems. She also guided our girls in exercise which was full of fun and enjoyment. She said whatever you do for fitness should be enjoying for you. She advised what to eat and what need to avoid in particular health problem. Students were engrossed in the session as their questions were answered which were based on health, fitness, weight, hair loss, parents health and many more.
The eminent speaker of the session was CA Sachin Aggarwal, SEBI-Trainer, Faculty of ICAI. He explained the student about need and importance of good CIBIL score. He explained that CIBIL score as an important factor that is considered by lenders at the time of offering you a loan or credit card. It is a numerical summary of your credit history and repayment behaviour. This score is a snapshot of one’s credit health. It gives lenders an idea of your ability to repay the borrowed amount.The speaker also shared his experience and knowledge about components of good credit score, established and rebuilt credit score etc. At the end students were asked to submit a report about the workshop and participate in a quiz. All the students were awarded with certificates of participation.
The event showcased a multitude of events like Fashion Show, Solo Dance, Solo Singing & Solo Acting Performance competition etc. The students exhibited their talent through their scintillating performances especially in Ramp Walk, Singing, and Dancing& Acting. Ms. Kashish the alumni (2015-18) who is holding the title of Miss India 2021- world runner up (skywalk) being the judge of the event asked the students to appreciate and cheer for each other during the college days. She said thankful to I.T.S for providing her all the opportunities to excel and achieve her dreams. She became nostalgic while recalling her college at I.T.S. Archana Prajapati is a choreographer, an influencer and a dance teacher in DDPS, GZB School. She is holding diploma from Indian Film & Television, Meerut under the supervision of Remo D’Souza. She has been awarded as a Guest of honour in Taj Mahotsav. She judged many dances competitions and fashion events. She ambient the Fresher’s party and the hospitality and generosity that I.T.S. showered was top-notch. Mr. Udit Jain -Presales and Marketing leader – Mother son Group, IIT Kanpur Alumnus.was the resource person .This lecture has exposed students to Practical experience as Marketing, has to be omnipresent. It is all about multi: multi-channel, multi-media, and even multi-faceted. Marketing can no longer be everything to everyone. A clear focus on the human personas to target is a must. Also, students learn about Cutting through the clutter will mean being innovative and bold in the market. Mr. Udit Jain stressed upon a B2B scenario. He told students how companies use Mobile Web application for its smoother and efficient operations and also how major retail players are enjoying the advantage of Mobile marketing today. He concluded with Mobile Marketing in reference to Business to Customers and Mobile Marketing scope in the near future covering important points such as Marketing Strategy, Consumer Behavior, Customer Loyalty and Increased performance with increase in sales numbers. Overall the session was very interactive wherein students gained a lot of information and learned about the scope to be explored in marketing when it comes to the retail and other industries.
The primary objective of this skit competition was to create awareness among students about the rights of consumer. This helps to create a sense of awareness in the students about the various unethical practices adopted by businesses and how consumers can safeguard themselves using their rights. The program was started with the welcome of the judges (Prof. Kanika Tandon and Prof. Shenky Tyagi). Students participated in groups of 3-4 members in each team and the winners were decided on the basis of creativity, entertainment, acting, concept, props and costumes. More than 75 students registered for the event. The final winners were judged on the basis of overall performance of teams in each Play. The event was judged by Prof. Kanika Tandon and Prof. Shenky Tyagi. The Winner Team, 1st Runner up were rewarded with Trophy from the judge of the event. The primary objective of a Street play is taking a social message to a large group of people. This helps to create a sense of awareness in the society in which we live. Every street play has a specific public social theme and the actor who performs should posses the skill to exhibit and portrays the theme well. The dialogues are colloquial and should be rendered monotonously with a clear and loud voice. This kind of recitation in high pitch will leave a huge impact in the minds of people. Students participated in groups of 6-8 members in each team and the winners were decided on the basis of Time Interval, Relevance of Topic, Usage of Props, Coordination and overall Presentation. The final winners were judged on the basis of overall performance of teams in each Play. The event was judged by Vivek Rrang Kanujiya Faculty in NSD Mandi House.
