I.T.S UG Campus organized a workshop on GST implications on September 26, 2017.
The resource person for the Seminar, Dr. Vidya Sekhri, Director - UG, highlighted that Summer training forms an integral part of the BBA curriculum. Every student is required to undergo job training in a business enterprise after the completion of the fourth semester. Dr. Sekhri also highlighted that the opportunity is made available to the students with an objective to relate class room teaching to real business world situations that in-turn help in inculcating professionalism and an integrated approach towards management. She also explained the Importance of Project Report and schedule for Project completion.
The guest speaker of the session was Prof. Abebe Shanko, Senior Faculty with college of Business and Economics and Consultancy Service Coordinator of Wollega University. He is also a certified trainer of entrepreneurship and a Regional Level Trainer in Ethiopia. The session gives a deep insight of the current challenges and prevalent opportunities in Entrepreneurship in Ethiopia. Moreover, the speaker also speaks about how they are helping young entrepreneurs in nurturing their knowledge and choosing the right path. The session was enjoyed and appraised by all the faculties.
With an objective to address various facets of the Intellectual Property (IP) system for entrepreneurial growth especially for rural clusters. The Distinguished Invitees were Ms. Shashi Singh, Chairperson CWEI(Consortium of Women Entrepreneurs of India), Dr. S.S. Singh, Deputy Controller- Indian Patent Office, Govt. of India, Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Assistant General Manager- State Bank of India(HO-Delhi), Mr. R.K. Panigrahi , Director – MSME-DI (Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Development Institute), Mr.Vedant Pujari ,Partner- Accures Legal, and Mr. S.K. Srihari , Partner- K & S Partners. The speakers discussed about the role of IP in economic, social and cultural development and throne light on various aspects related to IPR.
In our continuous journey of excellence and giving the opportunities to interact with renowned academicians and industry practitioners in and around the globe, we, at I.T.S UG Campus, organized a session through video conferencing by Prof. (Dr.) Moshe Vardi, on 28th February, 2017. Prof. (Dr.) Moshe Vardi is renowned computer scientist and Professor of Computer Science at Rice University, USA with approximately 40, 000 citations on his research papers. All the faculty members of IT & Management enthusiastically took part in this informative & motivational Talk.
To teach students not just investing and financial skills but essential life skills, Stock MIND helps to give a boost to their career. Stock Mind is India’s biggest virtual Stock Market game which offers a platform to the students to learn , compete and win exciting prizes. Through StockMind I.T.S students learnt investing and financial skills. There was also a personal money management component that has sharpen their planning, analytical and decision-making abilities.
A Faculty Development Program was conducted from 08th Feb 2017 to 10th Feb 2017 for all the faculty members. The three days program was divided into four sessions each. The topics covered by Dr. Namita Rajput, Speaker of session, were: Introduction to Research and Types of Research, Quantitative research methods and their nuances Research Design. Through her vast experience she sailed us through the session giving appropriate practical examples and explanations wherever required. The second session was started around 2.00 pm. The topics were: Introduction to SPSS, Introduction to e-views, Descriptive Statistics, Correlation and Regression, Plotting of charts and Practice Sessions. Her session was very well appreciated and conceived by the faculty members. Second day started with an honored speaker Dr. Anuradha Jain, took up topics like: Data collection, sample design and techniques Construction of Questionnaire, scaling techniques and Dr. Namita Rajput with topics like, Formulation and Testing of Hypothesis and lot of practice Sessions on Data Analysis using SPSS. The third day session was conducted by a very eminent and distinguished academician Dr. C P Gupta. He began by wishing this session to be very fruitful and imbibing the culture of research in our organisation. The topics covered were: Statistical Inference: Parametric and Non-Parametric Tests (Chi-Square Test), Analysis of Variances and Co-Variance (T Test and ANOVA: one way and two way), Factor Analysis, Interpretation of Results and Practice Session. Then he started with practical sessions on SPSS.The Valedictory session as with concluding remarks by Dr. Vidya Sekhri – Director UG. It was a complete learning and informative experience.
The Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the Gen AI Training Program in Data Science and Cyber Security was held on April 15, 2026. BCA II and III year students (Batch 2024–27 & 2023–26) were felicitated for successfully completing the program in collaboration with Ernst & Young (EY) Associates LLP.
