The third session under the Young India Manthan Series was conducted under the visionary leadership of Mr. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group, who motivated students to dream big and work with dedication for fulfillment of their passion, aspirations and ambitions. He also highlighted that such sessions help students gain clarity about career paths and learn directly from experienced professionals. Dr. Nancy Sharma, Principal- UG Campus welcomed the distinguished guest and urged the students to draw inspiration from the life journey of these guests and start shaping their own lives. The distinguished speaker for the session DJ Gouri, Founder & Director at Gyansetu Foundation, TEDx Speaker, Private Jet Cabin Crew, Multi Genre DJ, Advocate, Influencer, Aviation Instructor, delivered an engaging and informative talk. She shared her own life progression and how she handles her multiple careers. She also iterated that out of the multiple interests she loves flying as a private cabin crew member the most. During her session she also spoke about the 250 families they take care of under her NGO, Gyansetu Foundation that is providing education and skilling the underprivileged sections so that they can lead a dignified life. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students enthusiastically asked questions related to what skills to acquire, how to handle multiple professions and do justice to each one, what drives her passion, how to create a work life balance, role of communication and networking in building a successful career, how she engages with her audience, etc. DJ Gouri patiently addressed all queries and encouraged students to remain focused, disciplined, and determined in pursuing their goals. She urged students to find their purpose and true calling in life. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Neerja Anand, Associate Professor who expressed her gratitude to the distinguished guest for her gracious presence and interacting with the students of ITS UG Campus followed by the National Anthem. The session proved to be highly informative and inspiring, motivating students to explore careers in aviation, law, DJing, social service, etc and develop the dedication required to achieve their aspirations.
