
The event was attended by students of BBA and BCA batch 2022-25 .The event celebrated the accomplishments of students who achieved proficiency certification in a French and German Languages. Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal ITS UG Campus emphasized the importance of multilingualism in today’s interconnected world in her opening remarks. She talked about the benefits of learning a foreign language and advised students not to give up the foreign language once they leave the college, rather, the language skills be developed further as they move on in their lives. Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director ITS UG Campus in his address advised students to nurture the foreign language further. It could be an asset if students want to pursue advance studies in different disciplines in foreign countries. The event was a testament to the value of language education and cultural diversity. It not only honored the achievements of students but also inspired attendees to pursue lifelong language learning. The coordinators extend their heartfelt congratulations to all certificate recipients and express gratitude to Director Sir and Vice Principal Ma’am for their support. After the talk, the certificate distribution ceremony was conducted.
I.T.S, Mohan Nagar (UG Campus) organized an insightful mentoring session by Mr. Saurabh Munjal Co-Founder & CEO-Archian Foods Pvt. Ltd. (Lahori Jeera) under the aegis of Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on Dec. 18, 2024. With a solid academic background that includes an MBA from Singapore and B.Com from Punjab University, Mr. Munjal is a visionary entrepreneur. After starting a Trade Finance business in 2012, he went on to pursue business endeavours in the hospitality industry and launch Lahori Zeera in 2017. He has established a successful brand in the F&B sector and is well-known for his leadership and inventiveness.The faculty members and BBA & BCA students actively participated and received helpful guidance on innovation, business strategy, and leadership development, which helped them deal with the challenges of launching and expanding a company. Participants got an opportunity to ask questions and get personalized answers during a special Q&A period.
I.T.S takes pride in acknowledging and rewarding student performance in their odd semester in compare to even semester in CCSU Examinations. The Performance Improvement Awards Ceremony was held on 27th November 2024 with great enthusiasm and reverence for the BCA batch 2022-2025. The ceremony commenced with a warm and insightful welcome address by Prof. Vidushi Singh, Chairperson BCA, ITS UG Campus. She highlighted the importance of academic excellence and determination.Encouraging students to continue their chasing of knowledge and success. Dr. Neeraj Kumar Jain, BCA-III year Coordinator congratulated the awardees and emphasized the value of hard work, discipline, and dedication. 70 students of BCA students Batch of (2022-25) were honoured with certificate of appreciation and a motivational book (The power of your subconscious mind, by Dr. Joseph Murrphy) based on their performance in the academic year (2023-24). The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all involved in organizing the event and the continuous support from faculty and staff. The event served as a testament to the institution’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing academic excellence. Literary Club of I.T.S UG Campus has organized Flash Fiction competition for BBA & BCA students on November 29, 2024 The aim of Literary Club is to help the students to discover the broad light in them in which they enjoy the aesthetic beauty of life in the midst of science and technology. Literary club provides a substantial and unflagging foundation to students to liberate their thoughts in the process of exploring the world beyond technology. The club offers opportunities to students to enhance their creative as well as communication skills through manifold activities. Keeping these thoughts in mind the Flash Fiction competition was organized in which few words were given to students. Based on given word students constructed a fiction on the spot and narrated it. The oratory and presentation skill of students was outstanding. The competition went well, and top 3 performers were chosen at the end of the competition. Rohan- BBA II year, Praveen Pathak- BBA II year and Kushagra Singh-BBA I year grabbed the first, second and third prize respectively. This competition promoted the literary zeal among the students. The creativity, imagination, thinking, and communication skills of students found vent through this interesting event.
An industry visit is very important in one’s professional career to bridge the gap between the academic and Industry Interface, were students learn about the working atmosphere and practical knowledge to work in any Industry. BBA & BCA First year students participated in industry visit to World of Ice Cream Expo 2024, in which they learned about the working style, the processing unit, functioning of making of an ice cream packaging process of different ice cream brands in India. A video was displayed by the expo team to explain the process of procurement of raw material to packaging of an ice cream. All together the visit was really informative to the students, they enjoyed a lot a radio jockey was there for interactive session with students.
Fine Arts Club -“ARTEA” of Institute of Technology and Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad has organized a “COLLAGE MAKING AND SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION” for students of BBA & BCA on 12 November, 2024. The primary objective of the competition was to promote creativity and imagination among students, offering them an opportunity to express their ideas through two artistic forms: collage making and slogan writing. In the Collage Making and Slogan Writing competition, participants were given the theme "Environment Protection and IT Waste." Students created visually compelling collage using a variety of materials (such as magazines, newspapers, colored paper, and recycled materials) that depicted the environmental hazards caused by e-waste and the importance of protecting the planet from its harmful effects. The judges for the event was Dr. Sweta Bakshi, BBA Coordinator III Yr and Dr. Subhra Dwivedi Sakshi Sharma of BBA II year bagged the first position. Unnati Gupta of BBA II year bagged second position. Nikita of BCA III Year bagged third position.
A workshop on Cyber Security was Organized by Mass Communication Club at I.T.S Mohan Nagar, UG Campus in Association with Navbharat Times (NBT) On November 5, 2024, the Mass Communication Club at the Institute of Technology and Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, in collaboration with Navbharat Times (NBT), organized an impactful workshop on Cyber Security. The theme of the event was "Securing Your Digital World: Protect, Detect, and Respond". The workshop was designed to raise awareness about cyber threats, digital crimes, and educate the students on the complexities of digital world along with essential skills to safeguard their online identities in an increasingly vulnerable digital world. Shri Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman of I.T.S The Education Group, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director UG & IT, and Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal UG , presented mementos and bouquet to welcome our distinguished speakers Mr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sachidanand- ADCP, Mr. Santosh Kumar Tiwari, SHO Cyber Cell, and Mr. Sanjay Srivastava, Bureau Chief, NBT. Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey inaugurated the session with a briefing on the objectives of the workshop. Following his introduction, Mr. Sachidanand, ADCP, addressed the gathering, shedding light on the recent rise in cybercrimes and the evolving tactics of cyber criminals. He emphasized the proactive role of education in cyber security and expressed gratitude to NBT for their partnership in promoting digital safety. The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, delivered a powerful address highlighting the surge in online frauds, phishing attacks, and social media vulnerabilities. He provided practical advice on safeguarding personal data and advised students on privacy measures to mitigate cyber risks. Mr. Santosh Kumar Tiwari, SHO of Cyber Cell, then took the stage to discuss types of cybercrimes prevalent today, including phishing schemes, identity theft, and honey traps. Students actively participated and asked many questions about recognizing online scams, and safe usage of social media platforms. The speakers responded thoroughly to each query, providing practical advice and examples, made the session highly informative and engaging for all attendees. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, who expressed gratitude to the speakers and highlighted the session's success in equipping students with critical knowledge about protecting their digital identities. The workshop was attended by More than 500 students of BBA & BCA-I year, along with Dr. Vidushi Sing, Chairperson-BCA, Prof. Adil Khan, Chairperson-BBA, Prof. Monika Sharma, Prof. Rama Mishra, Prof. Munna Mishra, faculty members of I.T.S and NBT Team members. Students greatly appreciated the workshop, which not only informed them of the latest aspects of cyber security but also instilled a sense of responsibility in their digital interactions.
Apart from studies extra curricular activities play a very important role in the overall development of a student. Many students have singing skills whether classical, western or any other form. This platform gave the students a chance to showcase their talent. An Intra college competition held on November 06, 2024 for all students of BBA/BCA at UG I Board Room, where students participated in Intra college Photo Marathon Competition wherein they presented their original photograph based on the theme- Street photography. Merit and participations certificates, trophies and certificate of participation were awarded to the performers. The Judge for the day was Prof. Anurag Mittal, Assistant professor, ITS Mohan Nagar. The event received enthusiastic participation. The students participated with a lot of excitement and fervor. Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field. Photos create memories that takes us back to the special events. Photos speaks itself. Photos may also help to raise some issues. The Motive Behind this event was to Challenge participants to think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances, and capturing images within a limited timeframe. It helped the students to learn to look into the things with a unique angle. Competition helped out students to check their creative thinking.
On October 15, 2024, I.T.S UG Campus organized an industrial visit to Amar Ujala at Sector 59, Noida, for first-year BBA and BCA students.During the visit, students learned about the newspaper production process, from news collection to printing and distribution. Amar Ujala staff shared valuable information about editorial standards and technological advancements in the industry. The guided tour of the printing plant was a highlight, allowing students to observe the machinery in action and understand the workings of the printing. Overall, the visit to Amar Ujala was an enriching experience that bridged the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application, leaving students with a deeper appreciation for the print media landscape and renewed enthusiasm for their studies.
