


I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus successfully organized a workshop on “Applied Artificial Intelligence: Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and NLP with Python” For BCA first year. A total of 40 students from the BCA first year participated in the workshop. The workshop introduced students to the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence using Python. It covered key areas such as data analytics, where students learned to collect, clean, and analyse data to gain meaningful insights. In the machine learning segment, participants built predictive models to improve decision-making. The Natural Language Processing (NLP) section focused on understanding and processing human language, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and chatbot development. Our Principal, I.T.S UG Campus, Prof (Dr.) Nancy Sharma, delivered inspiring and motivational remarks during the workshop, encouraging students to explore emerging technologies like AI and ML. Dr. Anshul Bhatia and Dr. Himani Tyagi served as the resource persons for the workshop. They emphasized practical learning and shared real-life examples, which helped students clearly understand the applications of Artificial Intelligence. The workshop was successfully managed by Prof. Alok Kapil and Dr. Anikat. Their effective planning and coordination ensured that the event was well-structured and engaging. Overall, the workshop emphasized hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving using popular Python libraries, helping students develop essential skills required in modern AI-driven industries.
Description: The Chess Competition was organized to promote strategic thinking, concentration, and analytical skills among students. Chess, being a game of intellect and patience, provided participants with an opportunity to showcase their problem-solving abilities, foresight, and decision-making under pressure. The competition followed a structured format where participants competed against each other in multiple rounds. The matches encouraged critical thinking, planning, and adaptability as players responded to their opponents’ strategies in real time. The event created an atmosphere of healthy competition and intellectual engagement among students. Students enthusiastically took part in the competition. The participants displayed remarkable focus, strategic gameplay, and sportsmanship throughout the event. The competition was highly engaging and provided a platform for students to enhance their cognitive and decision- making skills. The winners and runner-up were appreciated and felicitated for their outstanding performance. . An MoU signing ceremony was organized between I.T.S, Mohan Nagar, UG Campus and CoLingo Education, Delhi-NCR to foster collaboration in the field of foreign language education. The initiative aims to enhance students’ global communication skills, cultural awareness, and employability by providing structured foreign language training. The event was marked by the exchanging the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dr. Nancy Sharma, Principal I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus and Ms. Sanskriti, HR head from CoLingo. This formal agreement signifies a collaborative effort to provide students with quality foreign language training aligned with industry standards. Mr. Akshay Jain, Director-CoLingo,in his address to the students emphasized the importance of foreign language in professional life. The guests also shared their views on the implementation and expected outcomes of the program. The students enthusiastically listened to the talk and witnessed the whole event. They also got an opportunity to interact with the guest & the Professors. Overall, the event was a success.
The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce students to the fundamentals of Python programming and develop a strong foundation in coding. It focused on enhancing their logical thinking and problem-solving skills through basic concepts and hands-on practice. The workshop aimed to provide initial exposure to real- time coding, enabling students to understand how programming works in a simple and practical manner. Overall, it was designed to build students’ interest and confidence in the field of programming.
Objective: The objective of the Puzzle Competition is to enhance student’s analytical thinking, quick decision-making, teamwork, and subject understanding through engaging, competitive, and intellectually stimulating quiz rounds that promote active learning. Description: Students participated in the event from all years of BBA and BCA. Sakshi Negi (BCA I year), Sakshi Kaushik (BCA I year) and Mahi Kalra (BCA I year) won the first, second and third prize respectively. The Puzzle Competition is an engaging academic event designed to challenge students through diverse quiz rounds that promote critical thinking, teamwork, and quick problem- solving. It encourages active participation, enhances subject knowledge, and fosters a spirit of healthy competition among learners. The workshop focused on creating awareness among female students regarding women’s safety, cybercrime, and available support systems. The programme aimed to empower students with knowledge, build confidence, and encourage responsible citizenship while equipping them with information about helpline services and preventive measures against crime through the “APRAJITA: No Silence, No Violence – Empowering Women Against Crime” workshop organized by the Mass Communication Club at the UG Campus on 20th March 2026 in association with Amar Ujala. The programme commenced with an introduction to the “Aprajita” initiative, a campaign by Amar Ujala focusing on women’s empowerment and safety, followed by the formal welcome of the dignitaries. Prof. (Dr.) Nancy Sharma, Principal – UG Campus, welcomed the Chief Guest, Ms. Neha Kumari, Sub-Inspector, Sahibabad Police Station, and the Guest of Honour, Ms. Nisha Singh, Bureau Chief, Amar Ujala THA Office, by presenting a plaque of honour. In her welcome address, she emphasized the importance of the session and encouraged students to face situations related to women’s safety and personal security with courage and confidence. Ms. Neha Kumari, as the Chief Guest, highlighted critical issues such as women’s safety, cybercrime awareness, domestic violence support systems, and the importance of citizen responsibility. Ms. Nisha Singh elaborated on various self-defense measures and demonstrated practical techniques to handle challenging situations effectively. The speakers also shared important helpline numbers and suggested practical measures that students can adopt in their daily lives to ensure their safety. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating, asking questions, and sharing their concerns. Real-life examples and case discussions enhanced understanding and relatability. The workshop proved to be highly informative, enabling participants to gain valuable insights, increased awareness, and a stronger sense of personal safety and confidence. The event was highly engaging, with students demonstrating enthusiasm, discipline, and active involvement throughout the session. Participants showed keen interest in topics such as cybercrime and safety measures and engaged in meaningful discussions, reflecting the effectiveness of the programme. I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG campus organized “Meritorious Award Ceremony” for undergraduate students of BBA & BCA on March 25th, 2026. The ceremony was held to felicitate meritorious students for their exemplary academic performance in C.C.S University examination for academic session 2024-25. The Ceremony began with ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries Dr. Nancy Sharma Principal, I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus, Dr. Vidushi Singh Dean Academics and HOD - BCA Course & Prof. Aadil Khan HOD - BBA Course. All the dignitaries congratulated awardees for their exemplary performance in University examination. Dr. Nancy Sharma, Principal - UG Campus addressed the gathering, congratulated the students for their remarkable achievements, and motivated them to continue striving for excellence and holistic development. The event also highlighted the Merit-Based Scholarship, awarded to the top 10% meritorious students of the batch at the end of each academic year. Objective: The purpose of this event was to enhance students learning knowledge, creativity, and thinking skills through practical exposure and individual participation. The event is designed to encourage innovative thinking, instant answering, and individual learning among students. It will provide a platform for participants to analyze existing knowledge and thereby strengthening their understanding of academic, general awareness and learning with fun concepts in a competitive yet enjoyable environment. The Geonomics Club organized “EconoMeme: Meme Contest” with the objective of encouraging students to express economic and business concepts through humor, creativity, and digital storytelling. The activity aimed to enhance conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and communication skills by allowing students to present real-world economic issues, market trends, policies, and consumer behavior in the form of engaging and relatable memes. The event provided a dynamic platform where learning was seamlessly blended with creativity and wit. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different courses and years. Participants showcased their originality and insight by designing innovative memes that reflected a strong grasp of economic concepts while maintaining humor and relatability. The entries demonstrated creativity, relevance, and clarity of thought, making the event both intellectually enriching and entertaining. The participants were evaluated by internal judges and faculty coordinators on parameters such as Relevance to the Theme, Creativity and Originality, Clarity and message delivery, Humour and Presentation, Visual appeal and engagement Potential.The event successfully fostered academic engagement, digital creativity, and confidence among students, while promoting innovative and enjoyable approaches to learning economics. Description: The event Fashion Frenzy: The Ramp Walk was organized with the objective to provide students with a platform to express their creativity and fashion sense; to build confidence, personality, and stage presence among participants; to encourage students to explore fashion as a form of self-expression; to enhance communication skills through theme presentation; and to promote extracurricular engagement and talent showcasing. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students which showcased their unique fashion styles, creativity, and confidence on the ramp. Each participant presented a distinct theme through their attire, styling, and walk. The event format allowed 1 minute for ramp walk followed by a 30-second oral presentation, where participants explained the concept behind their theme. This added a thoughtful and intellectual dimension to the fashion showcase. The event was judged by Prof. Nisha Bansal, Assistant Professor, who evaluated participants based on the criteria: Clarity of theme, Ramp walk and presentation, Make-up and use of props, and Overall confidence and stage presence.
