I.T.S Mohan Nagar, UG Campus Organized an Industrial visit at Haier, Greater Noida for BBA and BCA 1st Year Students on 24th March, 2023
24-03-2023A visit to Haier, Greater Noida was organized to provide students an exposure to various electrical appliances, their manufacturing, functioning and marketing tools for promotion and distribution. The Visit brings together a diverse mix of knowledge regarding the premium quality products that responds to the constantly changing needs of the modern home. The visit provided an insight regarding management skills required in corporate sector. They also learned different aspects of company’s different culture in the form of manufacturing, marketing, distribution, product quality, etc. It was a wonderful learning experience for the students.
‘Fashionista’ The Fashion Club organized a Workshop on “Personal Grooming” in association with Lakme Academy for BBA & BCA I Year Girl Students on March 22th, 2023
22-03-2023The objective of the workshop was to provide personal grooming tips to the students regarding beauty, make-up and dressing etiquettes that will help them in facing the world with confidence. The resource persons Ms. Asfia Fatima, Trainer; Ms. Vaishali, Centre Manager and Mr. Priyavrath Mishra, Area Sales Head-North from Lakme Academy briefed the students about the need for personal grooming in today’s competitive environment where your self-portrayal and networking is the key to success. Hence, it is essential for young professionals to be properly groomed so that they present their best foot forward while appearing for interviews, while giving presentations and also while networking. Students were quite enthusiastic during the workshop and openly interacted with the trainers. They asked many questions from the experts and also replied to all the questions asked by the experts during the workshop. The trainers also conducted scholarship test for the students and shared the courses that they are providing to youth under the Skill India Program to make them self-employable. The students clearing the test will get a scholarship for pursuing courses from Lakme Academy on beauty, professional make-up and grooming. Overall, the experience was very good.

Entrepreneurship Cell of I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized an online session on “E-waste Management” for the Students of BBA and BCA Program on 25th March, 2023
25-03-2023The primary objective of this program was to sensitize the young generation about e-waste and its appropriate disposal. E-waste causes lots of disturbance in the equilibrium of the ecosystem by adding toxins therefore the program was planned to create awareness in the students which are the future of the society. The program started with the welcome of the distinguished guest Dr. Payal Nandurkar (Founder, We- The Recycling Company) by the Master of Ceremony. Dr. Payal in her address discussed what qualified as e-waste and the vivid aspects of E-waste management. She highlighted the problems that occur due to e-waste and the various challenges faced in managing e-waste. She took away the session to the solution of E-waste management. She concluded the session by resolving queries of the students and answered all the queries to utmost satisfaction. Some students also inquired about the business prospects in e-waste management to which the resource person asked them to connect in person with her. All the participants were very keen and enthusiastic during the event.
I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus Organized an Industrial Visit to Abilities India Piston & Rings(AIL) Ltd, Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh on March 17th, 2023
17-03-2023The College has organized an Industrial visit for BCA students to provide an Industry Interface to know the working of an Industry as a part of their curriculum Abilities India Piston &Rings(AIL). As students were allowed to visit the site and see the making of the pistons. Students got to know that the Piston heads may have several different shapes, depending on the type of small engine used. The piston head receives the brunt of combustion heat and expands more than the rest of the piston. Pistons and rings were shifted to another workplace for expansion, the piston head diameter is usually less than the skirt diameter. At the end of the visit, students were taken to a conference room where the company Manager was briefed about AIP. Altogether the Visit was a knowledge gaining for all our students. They were very Enthusiastic to visit such places in the future.

16-03-2023In continuous efforts to enhance the employability of our students, the UG campus has introduced various Industry Certified Courses in finance, marketing, human resource, data analytics, and related domains. To felicitate the success of the students in these courses UG campus organized a CERTIFICATION CEREMONY FOR JOB ORIENTED INDUSTRY CERTIFIED COURSES (100 Hrs) of BBA (2019-22)& (2020-23) Batch. The ceremony started with lamp lighting & Saraswati Vandana. The Inaugural address is given by Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey (Director –UG & IT) he motivated and congratulated the students of Wealth Management, Digital Marketing, HR Analytics, and Business Analytics. Students were also congratulated for their active participation in the various job-oriented courses by Prof. Nancy Sharma (Vice Principal- UG Campus). Prof. Aadil Khan (Chairperson BBA), and Prof. Kanika Tandon ( Value Added Co-ordinator ) also congratulated the students for their excellent performance in various job-oriented courses and gave best wishes for future endeavors.

10-03-2023The IQAC of ITS Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad organized a Day Faculty Development Program on “Enhancing Personal Effectiveness and Teaching-Learning Pedagogy” on March 10, 2023. The FDP was based on contemporary topics like Emotional Quotient, Time Management, and Web-based learning tools like Kahoot and Hot Potatoes. The event was inaugurated by Director - UG, Dr. Sunil Kr Pandey and he insisted upon the importance of upgrading oneself in terms of pedagogical tools. Vice Principal - UG, Prof. Nancy Sharma cited the need of balancing work and personal life by focusing on short-term and long-term goals along with finding emotional stability. The first session was taken by Dr. Neerja Anand on ‘Emotional Quotient’ and she made faculty members understand how it helps to build relationships, defuse conflicts and reduce stress. The second session was taken by Prof. Nupur Sidh on ‘Time Management’ and it was focused on achieving bigger goals, reducing procrastination, and increasing productivity. The third session was taken by Dr. Yamini and she laid down the importance of web-based tools like Kahoot and Hot Potatoes to make the classes more interactive and induce a learner-based learning process.

The discussion started with the level of equality where it was discussed that more burden is always given to the females in comparison to Males in the family. They further added that females must be Tech savvy so that they don’t have to be dependent on males for their work, In addition to that It was said that society still in a need to work on changing the mindsets of the people to empower women. However, the digital World & Innovation can balance the inequality of women through some new gaps which are emerging in the recent trends that society has to look into. In addition to the above, it was suggested by one of the speakers that Women & Technology are a deadly combination we must try to get something better for the empowerment of women in society . They said that women are never taken seriously their thoughts must have listened. The session was concluded by focusing on changing the mindsets of the male society & It must start Inculcated from Childhood, every girl should motivate themselves & ready to face every challenge. The event was attended by faculty members, students from I.T.S Institute,& participants from different countries and concluded with a vote of thanks to Guests for their valuable time.
ITS UG Campus Organized A “Workshop on Summer Training Project Report” for the students of BBA Batch (2019-2022) on March 22, 2022.
22-03-2022The “Workshop on Summer Training Project Report” for BBA final year students was organized with an objective to make our students aware about the importance of project report as part of their curriculum and understand the technicality of writing the report. The workshop was conducted in two sessions In the first Session Chairperson BBA Prof. Adil Khan discussed the significance of good report writing on the internship done by the students. He discussed about the important information related to the report submission and further communicated that each student will be assigned a mentor as per their discipline and further they will guide them, students have to seek the approval from their mentors before going for final printing and get it duly signed by their mentors for their final submission.
First session was followed by Prof. Sweta Bakshi, she gave a deep insight on how to write a report, how to make it more interesting and attractive so that the reader may generate interest while having a look and she emphasized on qualities of good report, chapterization of the report and many more. She also discussed the application of Research Methodology and its importance, the main highlights were research design, Sampling Design Data collection and data analysis & interpretations and research tools etc. She emphasized on the queries which in general will be asked by the examiner when the final viva will take place.
Prof. Raghwendra Kumar explained the MS – Office tools like Word, Excel and many more tolls to get help in writing it in a better manner specially the reference Menu, excel for data analysis etc., Dr. Yashmita Awasthi discussed the chapterization and ethical aspects of the Project Preparation and precautions to be taken while writing a report.
In the second session Students had a glance about the historical reports available in the Library. Further, they discussed their doubts with the panel of learned faculty specially Prof. Uttam Sharma, Dr. Charu Malhotra, Dr. Yashmita Awasthi, Prof. Sweta Bakshi, Prof. Raghwendra Kumar and others present. The event culminated with feedback sharing from the students.
Students were very enthusiastic and curious to know about the detail of the project and took the workshop as inducer and highly impactful in the preparation of their Project Report in a better way.

24-03-2022I.T.S UG Campus organised an educational visit to Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti under Ministry of Culture, Government of India on 24th March 2022 for the students of BBA and BCA. Two faculty members Prof Uttam Sharma and Prof Alok Kapil accompanied the students.
The visit started with the welcome address by the Director of GSDS Shri Dipankar Shri Gyan. He appreciated the students for taking the initiative to attend the workshop and to visit GSDS. He felicitated both the accompanying faculty members.
It was followed by a wonderful and interactive workshop on Peer Mediation conducted by Dr Vedabhyas Kundu, Programme Officer in which the students were explained about various types of conflicts and the useful techniques to handle them effectively. The students can use those techniques in order to bring a positive change in their personality and day to day functioning of their personal as well as professional life.
After the workshop students were taken to Swachhata Kendra where a documentary film on Swachhata mission initiated by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi was shown in a revolving theatre.
Students were also taken to an exhibition on sanitation and hygiene. The students played game and attempted the quiz related to hygiene and sanitation. They were given caps as prize for answering the questions. The visit ended by delicious lunch provided to all the participants.
It was a memorable visit and a wonderful learning experience for all. All the participating students were provided with the Certificate for attending the workshop on Peer Mediation. Total 95 students attended the visit.

25-03-2022Convergence India Expo provides a platform to showcase ‘Brand India’, and focuses on promoting the ‘Make in India’ & ‘Digital India’ campaigns. The expo showcased a changing technology landscape. The expo had organizations which were working on OTT, Satcom, IoT, FinTech, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, AI, Big Data & Analytics, Embedded Technology, Digital Gaming, etc.
The visits enabled our students to experience and discover the latest technologies and developments. Our students were excited to see how these technologies work. They were inquisitive. Some students enquired about these in a greater detail. In technology sphere, the visit educated our students about how to think differently.
