I.T.S - UG Campus organized Two days workshop on “Web Application Development using PHP” for BCA III Year students January 23rd – 24th, 2017.

I.T.S - UG Campus and Department of I.T. organized Two days workshop on “Web Application Development Using PHP” on January 23rd – 24th , 2017. Total 33 students of BCA III Year participated in this workshop. The workshop provided exposure to the students to dig out their potentials and paved a way for better understanding of the web technology. Students learned how to install and configure XAMP server and development of dynamic web pages using PHP programming .They also learned that how to connect database through PHP and other tools which relates to PHP. All the participants were given Certificate of Participation.

The world is rapidly shifting from analogue to digital. People are consuming more and more digital content on a daily basis & dash; on mobile phones, laptops, desktop computers at work, and more and companies that have not yet recognized this in their marketing strategies need to adapt fast. To get acquainted with the current practices; I.T.S organised a Workshop for the students of BBA-III Semester on ERP-SD (Sales and Distribution).The world is rapidly shifting from analogue to digital. I.T.S. UG Campus, Mohan Nagar, organized SEBI Sponsored Workshop titled, “Financial Literacy and Role of Regulators in Indian economy” for the BBA I Year students

The endeavour of the session was to provide domain knowledge about role and responsibility of SEBI in regulating stock markets. Mr. Santosh Parashar, Joint Director & Head, Corporate Affairs and Capital Market Division, ASSOCHAM ws the eminent speaer of the session. He explained how the Equity Shares are priced with respect to Indian Stock Markets. Students have also shown their keen interest in understanding the pros & cons of various synergies of capital market along with different options available for the investments.

I.T.S UG Campus organized Oneday Workshop on ‘Marketing Strategies of 21st Century Customers & Supply Chain Management’

This in-campus workshop and training initiative aims to enhance the “industry readiness” level of students making them employable. This activity can help students to increase the practical and technical knowledge as well as placement probabilities. The speaker of the session was Mr. Gaurava Yadav- Founder & CEO, Edu Ace Pvt. Ltd. The workshop revolved around the topic like changing landscape for 21^st Century Marketers, New Media and its role, Success stories from top corporate world, Supply chain and its growing importance in the fast paced e-Commerce era including case studies and a very powerful role play. This enhanced not only the intuitive knowledge among the students but they were very curious and participative in the role play.

I.T.S UG campus organised a workshop on “High Impact Program on Time Management & Business Etiquettes” for BBA II year students

The Workshop was started with a motivational speech by Dr. Vidya Sekhri, Director-UG and with a warm welcome of Ms. Mahak Vaish from Possiblers. She had a great sessions with full of activities with the students. She discussed Time Management and encompasses techniques intended to equip a person with effective coping mechanisms for dealing with Time Management. She defined as a person’s physiological and physical response to an internal or external stimulus that triggers the fight-or-flight response. She had also discussed the concepts of Business Etiquettes and its effectiveness. She explained various business etiquettes, that when, where and who can use these techniques.

I.T.S UG campus organized a Workshop on PHP for BCA III year students

A two days workshop on PHP was organised for the students of BCA III year students. The objective behind this workshop was to encourage Students to develop their skill in installing and configuring XAMP server, PHP programming on Net Bean along with plug-in. Mr. Umesh Chandra, BDM, Appletree.Infotech explained the concept of installing and configuring XAMP server and PHP programming.

I.T.S UG Campus Organized DST sponsored three days EAC camp for BCA Ist year Students.

The programme was started with Saraswati vandana and lamp lightning by Director UG- Dr. Vidya Sekhri. She began the session with welcome speech filled with motivation and enthusiasm. Dr. Sekhri, highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and said that today’s Entrepreneurs are the pace setters in the quest of developing countries for economic independence. Another session was taken up by Ms. Parul Puri ,in which she focused on development of Entrepreneurial Quality and innovative ideas. On Day 2, Dr. Arun kumar Mittal motivated and inspired the students by emphasizing on the importance of business etiquettes for achieving success. Students experienced another session taken up by Dr. Vidya Sekhri, Director – UG, in which she emphasized on a stress free life and good health without medicines through the positive thoughts. The last day ended with a panel discussion on various schemes for financing the projects and role of the banking system.

ITS UG campus organized 2 days workshop “Big Data & Apache Hadoop Framework” in association with Aptron Pvt. Ltd

The objective of conducting this workshop was to give an exposure to students about real, digital, virtual & revolutionary Big Data world, to make the students aware about various job opportunities available in the field of Big data and Apache Hadoop technologies, to provide fundamental practical knowledge of Apache Hadoop Framework. The students learnt the practical aspect of VM-Workstation Installation, which would certainly be beneficial for them, in future. Students got the practical knowledge of HBASE and flume tools and learnt how to fetch real time data from website such as Twitter.
