
First session was taken by Prof. Neerja Anand on “Emotional Intelligence” . The session was very helpful for all the students to understand the week points which may lead for their slow growth. She has also differentiate low EQ and high EQ persons and the quality they process. The session was very helpful for students to work on our weak points and build a strong personality. She also explained how to be positive in stress and in negative situations. Second session was taken Second session was taken by “Ms. Anjali Gupta” , Trainer- Pro Synergy Analytics on “Tableau”. The session was very interactive and she asked many questions and gave many questions to the students based on Tableau. She explained tableau with proper neatness and professionally .She gave the basic introduction of tableau like how to install, how to work using tableau. She mentioned the various types of tableau products available and difference between them, and how to use the basic functions on tableau and why it is useful. The third session was taken by Mr. K.S. Panwar on aptitude test. In today's session sir has covered many important topic that are frequently asked in aptitude test such as questions related to Time and distance , ratio and proportion, work and time, mixtures with very easy tricks and shortcut . He also gave questions on each topic to the students to solve them. Overall all the session was very interesting and helpful for all the students. The topic was clearly discussed with solutions of sample questions.
In today’s session of PREP -23 , the first session session was taken by Prof. Yamini Negi” on “Excel”. Mam explained the use of macros in Excel to efficiently manage the data. Adding to that she taught some other functions which can help in filtering and copying the data based on the given criteria. Further she discussed about the chart, filtering, sorting the data by taking examples. Second session was taken by “Ms. Anjali Gupta” , Trainer- Pro Synergy Analytics on “Tableau”, a very popular tool to maintain the data. She gave the basic introduction of tableau like how to install, how to work using tableau. She mentioned the various types of tableau products available and difference between them, and how to use the basic functions on tableau and why is it useful . Third session was taken by Prof. Manoj Kumar . He shared thoughtful remarks on personality and opportunity seeking. He was able to fill a motivational zeal in students. He shared various anecdotes related to behavioral aspects. At last , Ms. Divya gupta briefed about Resume Building . She shared the actual layout of a resume, She stated certain points which a students need to surely mention in a resume to clearly make an impact on the recruiter.
In the 06th day of PREP -23, The first session was taken by Prof. Kanika Tandon on “Marketing “. In this session she explained the basic knowledge of what market is, how it works, she also explained about 7 P's in marketing. At last she distributed the sheet based on marketing questions to the students for practicing. Overall the session was very helpful for the students especially for them who want to pursue in the non-technical field. Second session for the day was taken by Prof Divya Gupta on “Personal Interview (P.I.)”. She started the session with correcting the sitting posture of students and also told about how to prepare for the interview, how to answer the questions, how to be spontaneous. Mam has also explained that what should not done in the personal interview. The third session was taken by Mr. K.S. Panwar on aptitude test. In this session sir has covered many important topic that are frequently asked in aptitude test such as questions related to, charts, multiplication and questions of ages, profit and loss questions with very easy tricks and shortcut. In aptitude test, he taught very easy and quick method to find the square root, multiplication of large numbers, questions of triangle and square.
In the 07th day of PREP -23, the first session was taken by Prof. Aadil Khan. He shared remarkable insight on the financial term and concepts which can be asked in any regular interview. He made the students aware with the general words and titles whose information they must possess. The various topics included in the session were Basic introduction of finance ,Terms like direct and indirect taxes, balance sheet , NPA, gross profit, net profit ,BSE, NSE , inflation etc. Overall a very interactive and informative session. Sesond session of the day was taken by Ms. Sushma Singh, Trainer – GTT. She took Session on telephonic, video interview etiquette, email etiquette, body language and making of linked in profile. She talked about all the above topics in proper detail. She shared the significance of all the above things in securing a job and cracking an interview. She mentioned how the tone of voice, way of speaking, physical attire and body language etc are important elements to judge one’s performance. She also suggested how networking and connections can help students to become more reachable by the recruiters.
In the first lecture by Prof. Rohit Gupta on php students came to know about multiple things of how hypertext preprocessor work and all the details that came in it with its type and syntax and how it's embedded with html . Sir explained in a very easy way that how Php can be used with HTML and how it can be run using Xampp server with examples. Sir also discussed about Array concepts, Control statements, switch case used in Php. Sir also explained the importance of Php in Software industry. In second lecture by Mr. Varun Arora on Android development, students learned about how to develop the Android application and what are all the prospective and things which the students have to keep in mind for developing Android application. Sir explained about SDK, emulator and version of Android. Sir explained about the architecture of Android and Linux Kernel. At last he discussed about the XML used in Android. In the third lecture by Prof. Aadil khan on finance and in this lecture students learned about the meaning of all finance terminology like sensex, BSE, NSE, profit , debit, revenues, taxes etc. He explained all the finance concepts taking real time examples so that students could connect and understand easily.
The Day 6 (07.08.23), First session was taken by Ms. Yamini Negi On “functions of Excel “.She took an interactive session on Normal Vlook from different sheets, Vlook from different workbooks, copy formula, vlookup for multiple values, conditional formatting etc .These are the basic functions required to be known to handle data in a corporate job. She also gave many examples to the students to solve the questions based on Vlookup. Students were involved in solving the questions and they all enjoyed this session. Mam, also gave exercises to all the students to solve the questions. Second session was taken by Mr. Debojit Sen “On Effective decision making” .He shared the importance of effective decision makings in life ( giving his decision making examples).He shared the actual process of decision making. He was able to deliver the criteria and elements to be kept in mind before taking an important decision. Moreover he suggested the ways to evaluate our decisions. Mr. Sen also gave many real time examples that how a person can improve interpersonal skills and enhance their decision making capabilities.
The Day 5 (05.08.23) of this session was taken by Prof. Munna Mishra on “Professional Communications”. The objective of this session was to learn the way of effective communication which is required in many organizations. Sir clearly defined what professional communication is. He gave valuable inputs about the use and importance of professional communication in the corporate world and how it impacts your performance and reputation. He also mentioned the correct criteria to communicate professionally. Second session is taken by Mr. K.S Panwar on “Aptitude & Logical Reasoning”. Sir gave an overview on the type of questions being asked in an aptitude test and various methods and techniques to solve these questions in minimal time. Students were involved in solving the questions given by Mr. Panwar. Sir gave many short cut tips to solve the questions in a very short time. Session was very very informative.
The Day 4 (05.08.23) of this session was taken by Mr.K.S Panwar on the Aptitude Test. In this session sir has covered many important topics that are frequently asked in aptitude tests such as questions related to probability ,charts ,multiplication and square root questions with very easy tricks and shortcuts. Overall the session was very interesting and helpful for all the students. The topic was clearly discussed with solutions of sample questions. Second session for this PREP was taken by Ms. Sushma Singh on “Self grooming & body language”. Ms Sushma mam is an experienced trainer. She has guided the students regarding building an effective Linkedin profile, how to overcome the difficulty we face while speaking in front of the audience and the importance of having good body language. Mam, also explained about the correct way of body language by giving some real time examples. Session was very interesting and interactive.
The Day 3 (04.08.23) of this session Prof. Karan Siwach took the first session on Operating Systems. Session was held for building the basics of operating system fundamentals. Prof. Karan has explained the key topics which are important for the placement and are often asked, he explained about the types of file and their extension, process management, types of operating system. The entire topic was discussed thoroughly and helped students to build a strong base. Second session for this PREP was taken by Mr. Saquib Iqbal, Assistant Manager, 3rd eye Techno Solutions Pvt. Ltd. on the topic “Cyber security and forensic” In the second session, Sir has explained types of cyber-attacks and ways by which attackers achieve it. Case studies of each relevant attack were also shown. Overall session was knowledgeable and content driven. The third session was taken by Prof. Saroj Kumari on the topic “Java” which is very important for Placement. Java is the new programming language for the students and mam has taught the topic very clearly like abstract classes, interface, constructors etc and she has also made us solve multiple questions after the completion of the theory so that if students have any doubt it should be cleared right there . After each session an assessment test is done to check the progress of the students' learning.
The Day 4 (04.08.23) of this session was given by Dr. Neerja Anand on emotional intelligence. She shared the importance of emotional intelligence in real world and also mentioned which all characteristics portray a low and high emotionally intelligent person. She gave remarkable inputs that how we can improve ourselves emotionally. Moreover she emphasized on the significance of maintaining a balance between EQ and IQ. Second session is taken by Ms. Divya Gupta on Personal interview. She made aware about the right etiquettes we need to consider while sitting for an actual interview. She suggested various questions that can be asked in an interview and what are the probable answers to those questions. Moreover she suggested the ways in which we can prepare ourselves for an interview. The proper layout of answering questions, sharing achievements etc was also emphasized. Third Session was taken by Prof. Munna Mishra on topic “Negotiation skills. Sir defined the importance of negotiation skills. He shared various tools and techniques to solve a conflict and mentioned various elements and situations which can lead to a conflict.He also suggested ways to analyze a conflict, so that an appropriate negotiation model can be applied to it.
