The objective behind this career counselling workshop was to make aware the audience about the options available after 12th standard.
With an aim to help the perspective generation in understanding their hidden talent and to make informed career decision an interactive counselling session
was organized on May 4, 2019 by the expert Mr. Ritesh Jain, a well renowned Career Counsellor.
Mr. Ritesh Jain has been a leading career counselor frequently conducting Live Career Helpline on various National TV channels like Aaj Tak,
Doordarshan, IBN7 and others.
The session addressed the various options available for the students, to look for wide vistas in career ahead, after the completion of grade 12th.
Students from more than 30 schools of repute in Delhi – NCR region attended the session. Parents also took guidance from the career counsellor about
different career options than can be opted after completion of class 12th for their ward. Most of the students went for individual counselling session for
seeking personal guidance from the esteemed speaker. The students took Psychometric test arranged for the session.
Mr. Ritesh Jain guided the students on various course options in different streams, how to recognize one’s strengths, attitude, skills and its significance,
Options of higher studies in India and abroad. The session was highly interactive, students inquired about courses like B.Tech., BBA, BCA and B.Com,
questions regarding the future in vocational courses like photography, media, mass communication etc were also put up.
The session enabled them to have access to wider pools of information to make appropriate and timely decisions. This session was appreciated by both
parents and the students. They expressed their gratitude and thanked the institution for its conductance.
Observations / Learning for Improvements: Students were quiet enthusiast in the counselling session. They asked various questions related to career and
profession which were resolved very nicely by the counsellor.
Students and parents appreciated the effort of I.T.S for organising the career counselling
