Under NSS Programme, food packets were distributed at the slum areas of Vasundhara sector – 02 & 06. NSS student volunteers as well as faculty members organized the meal distribution program to ensure that the entire activity runs smoothly. Food packets were distributed to the under-privileged children as well as slum-dwellers.
The objective of meal distribution in underprivileged areas is to provide nutritious food to individuals and families who may not have access to regular meals due to economic hardship or other challenges. This initiative aims to address food insecurity, improve nutritional intake, and support the overall well-being of the community. By distributing meals, organizations and volunteers can help alleviate hunger, promote health, and foster a sense of community support among vulnerable populations.
