Education and experience may make you eligible to apply for a job but to be successful in most roles, you will need skills that are likely to develop over time. Some will be specific to the job, but the vast majority will require so-called ‘employability skills’ that can be used in any job or employment sectors. This is what makes us employable. The objective of guest lecture was to share the experience and challenges which take place in the way of students while fostering themselves for their career. The primary goal of session was to brief them about employability skills and a place to discuss academic, cultural, and social issues which came while studying or working in abroad. The Guest of the session was Mr.Ben Tucker, Co-Founder of Minerva Pvt. Ltd and Ms. J. James.He is 8+years’ experience as a Management professional. He is skilled in implementing both managerial skills and in client handling technique. He had travelled across the globe countries like India, United States, United Kingdom, Germany and many more countries. He had delivered his experience to students across the globe which help them to tackle the situation and overcome from hard ships. The session started with welcoming our guest, Mr. Ben tucker,with a memento and a sapling as a token of love and gratitude by Director Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey and Vice Principal Prof. Nancy Sharma followed by Director Sir Welcome Address.Director Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey welcomed the guest and also he has briefed need of different domain knowledge along with connections establishment between domains. He also emphasized on need of different skills to make students employable. Mr. Ben Tucker demonstrated the role of Globalization of business and proper communication skills which required for smooth running of business and jobs. He also spoke about how companies expect a lot from fresher. A fresher should be multitasker. A fresher will experience numerous failure. But we should also keep in mind that failure is an important part to learn how to do things perfectly. He mentioned that we can do this by communicating with our senior and observing them. A fresher will experience new things by supporting his or her pears and also by observing and working with them. At the end students mention their queries towards today session to which Mr. Ben Tucker replied quite positively and share his insights towards them.The session inspired students to achieve their objectives and to build a road map to achieve their goals.
