The objective of alumni talk was to strengthen the bond between current students and alumni. Its primary goal was to offer graduates with a place to discuss academic, cultural, and social issues with current students. The Alumni Talk will assist students in their quest for clarity. The alumni talk inspired students to achieve their objectives and to build a roadmap to achieve their goals. Students were inspired when they witness someone who was once in their shoes and is now well-established and successful. The Guest of the session was Mr.Ravikant Tyagi, Alumunus BCA (Batch 2012-2015), Co-Founder and Data Science Trainer, Brain Mentors Pvt. Ltd. He is 8+years’ experience as a Data Scientist and software professional. He is skilled in implementing both web and client- server architecture-based apps, Data science and Deep Learning applications. He had delivered more than 30+ corporate training in India mart, UST global, Clear 2 pay, Bechtel, NIIT, HCL, TATA power and many more in technologies like Python, R Programming and Big data. He had delivered 10+ FDP data science programmers to various universities and colleges like Amity, NCU, MAIT, MSIT, BVP, SRM, DCRUST etc. The session started with welcoming our guest, Mr. Ravi Kant Tyagi, with a memento and a sapling as a token of gratitude by BCA Chairperson, Dr. Vidushi Singh. Approx. 150+ students of BCA attended the alumni talk session. He demonstrated the role of Data Science in current IT sector. He also spoke about how companies expect a lot from fresher. A fresher should be multitasker. He described what data science is and the concepts of machine learning, deep learning, and AI developer to the pupils. Mr. Ravi Kant sir shared his personal experience of working as a Data Scientist and he immediately connected with the students, making the session highly entertaining. He described that Data Science is a blend of any programming language, mathematics, and business analytics.
