I.T.S. U.G. campus organised avirtual Guest Lecture on “Concepts of Marginal Costing’for BBA third year students on January 15,2022.
15-01-2022The objective of the guest lecture is to endow students with a deeper insight into the practical application of the subject.
The invitation to expert for guest lectures offers an opportunity for the students to meet passionate & committed people to understand the topic by their perspective. Guest lectures provide an important educational experience for students.
Prof,Amit Kumar from Institute of Information Technology & Management (IITM),New Delhi. was invited as an eminent speaker to share his knowledge and experience.
He gave an overview of Cost Accounting and explained the concepts of Marginal Costing & Absorption Costing. He discussed relevant accounting examples. Once the concept of Marginal & Absorption Costing was made clear to students, then he solved numericals problems related to the topic by continuously asking inputs from the students. The session was highly interactive and informative. He also equip are students with important tips on how to be quick in solving numericals in costing.
Overall, it was a session full of learning for the students.
