The objective was to celebrate and get inspired by the acts of courage and determination of ordinary women, who are now leading an extraordinary life.

I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized a SYMPOSIUM on “Empowering Women – Creating Innovative Ecosystem” on the occasion of “International Women’s Day” to celebrate the achievements of women in all spheres of life, on the focal theme of “Each for Equal” on 3rd March 2018, Tuesday at Chanakya Auditorium at 10:00 am.

The event was inaugurated with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana jointly by Lady Vice Chairman, Ms. Latika Chaddha, Director PR- Mr. Surender Sood ,Director ,UG –Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey,Vice Principal – UG Prof.Nancy Sharma along with the esteemed guest speakers for the symposium: Ms. Divya - RJ, FM 91.1 radio city ,Ms. Gunjan Goela- Celebrity Chef,Ms. Shinjini Kulkarni -Kathak  Dancer,Disciple & Grand Daughter of Pandit Birju Maharaj,Dr.UditaTyagi- Mrs.Indisar 2011 (Ist Runner Up),Ms. Payalh Agarwwal- CEO &Founder,ZelenaTranquiliteq Pvt. Ltd.,Ms. Deepika Roa -Pincipal,DPS, Ghaziabad ,Palam Vihar,Ms. Alka Tomar-Arjun Awardee 2007,Senior wrestler ,Ms. Sunanada Sharma- Indian Classical Singer, Dr.Swaroopa Mitra, Oncologist, Rajeev Gandhi Cancer Hospital Delhi ,Cap.Anubha Rathaur -Ex.Army officer & HR Professional.

The program was further followed by a Special address by Director PR- Mr. Surender Sood,welcome address by Director UG –Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey&briefing of the event by Vice Principal – UG Prof.Nancy Sharma which marked the beginning of Session 1 of the event “BARRIERS TO SCALE AND SUCCESS.

In the second session, the topic of discussion was “BUILDING A FUTURE WITH WOMEN’S VISION” which was discussed by exceptional   personalities who has achieved fame , after facing a long struggle on the various arenas and possibilities of success for women in work field. The perimeter of discussion contained an important aspect such as, the long but untiring struggle women had to go through to finally mark their presence and achieve notable acceptance in the society which leads to a better world for them at least in current scenario. The women are independent, successful, accepts challenges, prove them and become the torch bearers for others, which is an achievement in itself.

The event was attended by all faculties, Course coordinators and chairpersons and concluded with a vote of thanks to Guests for their valuable time.
