“PRARAMBH- 2021” ORIENTATION PROGRAMME OF BBA (26th BATCH) & BCA (25th BATCH) 11 to 13 October, 2021.

Description: Institute of Technology and Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, UG Campus organized “PRARAMBH-2021” a 03 days Orientation Programme for newly admitted students of BBA & BCA-I Year (Batch 2021-24) from 11 to 13 October, 2021. Day – 02: (Inaugural Day) A little music and embellishing lights, fragrant ambiance and creative impulses, jubilant new faces discovering each other, smiles all along, resounding laughter and many more things were witnessed on 2nd day of “Prarambh-2021”. The event was formally inaugurated with lamp lighting by Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Mohan Rai, Guest of Honour Ms Nidhi Kapoor, Sh Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S - The Education Group, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director (IT & UG), Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal (UG). On the occasion, Prof Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal, UG Campus gave an overview of the various academic, non-academic opportunities available for the all round development of the students at UG campus. She said that every student joins I.T.S with the objective of becoming successful professional and I.T.S provides precise environment which facilitates the students to achieve that objective. Director-IT & UG, Dr Sunil Kumar Pandey briefed the students about contribution of I.T.S from the last 26 years in producing the budding managers and IT professionals. He said that getting placed in a company of repute is dream of every student joining under graduate programme and at I.T.S, their dreams come true as we provide best of the placements in companies like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, Lenskart, Zomato, Amazon etc. He also shared that the alumni of I.T.S are serving the society and nation since long. Sh Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman I.T.S – The Education Group, in his address advised all the newly admitted students to have their own goals. Sir, asked about the hobbies and the objective of some of the students behind joining undergraduate program at ITS. He was of the view that one should not be carried away with the success or failure of others. Students felt motivated as all participated actively by answering the questions asked by respected Sir. The session by Chief Guest was also very motivating for the students as Dr Rai gave 5 keys to success. The keys were Public Speaking, Way you listen, How you present, Focus on what you control and Compete with yourself. It was a wonderful session as he explained each key with a unique example connecting easily with the students. Guest of honour Ms Nidhi Kapoor, Founder Director of viharin.com shared her success story from college student to becoming a successful entrepreneur and the contribution of the institute in nurturing the students towards entrepreneurship. Lt Gen K J Singh in his virtual address advised the newly admitted students to create their Valmiki moment. He said that one should live life as the quote goes, “Na Kisi ke prabhav mein, na kisi ke abhaav mein, rahiye apne swabhav mein”. He also advised to make a Synergy in student life for exponential growth. He also highlighted the importance of having SMART (S-Specific, M-Measurable, A-Achievable, R-Realistic and T-Time bound) goals. All the dignitaries congratulated the newly admitted students for selecting the best institute i.e I.T.S, for pursuing their professional degree course and wished them for a bright future ahead. On the occasion, Ishika Memorial award was given to Gaurav Sharma of BBA (Batch 2019-22) and Saumya Ashish of BCA (Batch 2019-22) for securing maximum marks during the session 2019-20. The students were awarded with Rs 5100/ each for this achievement. It was followed by brief about foreign languages. All the faculty and key staff members were introduced to the newly admitted students. The role of clubs and societies in a student’s life was also briefed. Overview of clubs and societies was given with the help of dance performance and a skit presented by Theatre club’s students.
