Institute of Technology and Science, (I.T.S) Mohan Nagar, UG Campus is organizing the Placement Readiness Enhancement Program (PREP) 2026 for final-year BCA and BBA students from 06 July to 18 July 2026. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by developing students' technical, analytical, communication, and employability skills. Day 3 of the Placement Readiness Enhancement Program (PREP) for final-year BBA and BCA students featured an engaging IBM SkillBuild Programme on the theme "Generative AI and Agentic AI."The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Vidushi Singh, Dean Academics & HOD BCA, who warmly welcomed the resource persons and participants. She encouraged the students to actively participate in the sessions and make the most of the learning opportunities offered through the Placement Readiness Enhancement Program. The technical sessions were conducted by Mr. Mohd. Bilal and Mr. Naveen Mehra, who are Data Scientists at CETPA Infotech. Mr. Mohd. Bilal introduced students to Python programming and explained the concepts of Generative AI and Agentic AI, highlighting their real-world applications and industry relevance. Students also gained practical exposure to prompt engineering, including effective prompt writing, negative prompting, and the use of pre-trained prompts to generate accurate and meaningful AI responses. He then focused on Advanced Microsoft Excel, where students explored advanced formulas, logical and lookup functions, data sorting and filtering, and efficient data management techniques. Practical demonstrations enabled students to understand the application of these tools in business analysis, reporting, and decision-making. The IBM SkillBuild certification process was facilitated by Mr. Naveen Mehra, who introduced students to the IBM SkillBuild platform and guided them through the registration and certification process. He emphasized the importance of earning industry- recognized certifications in Artificial Intelligence and digital skills, encouraging students to complete the learning modules and assessments to enhance their technical competencies, professional profiles, and employability.
