


The I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized an educational visit to the Jagran Film Festival (JFF) 2026 – Delhi Edition on 21st August 2026 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi, for the students of BCA Second Year (Batch 2025–28). Around 99 students participated in the visit. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical and experiential exposure to the world of cinema, media, communication, storytelling, and creative industries. The visit also aimed to help students understand the importance of films as a powerful medium of storytelling, cultural expression, social awareness, and communication. During the festival, students attended film screenings, panel discussions, and interactive sessions with eminent personalities. They participated in “Women in Film: Shaping India’s Changing Landscape” with Aparna Purohit, Sheeba Chaddha, and Shobha Sant, and a special conversation by Amruta Kolatkar on Asha Bhosle’s life, music, and legacy. These sessions provided valuable insights into cinema, creativity, communication, and opportunities in the media and entertainment industry. • The students gained knowledge about: • Film production and storytelling techniques • Scriptwriting and creative content development • Role of women in the film and media industry • Media, entertainment, and digital content practices • Communication and presentation skills • Creative thinking and content creation • Career opportunities in the media and entertainment sector • Changing trends and opportunities in the Indian film industry The visit was highly informative, engaging, and enriching, providing students with experiential learning beyond classroom concepts. The opportunity to listen to and interact with experienced professionals helped students broaden their perspectives and develop a better understanding of the practical aspects of the creative and media industries. Overall, the educational visit to the Jagran Film Festival 2026 – Delhi Edition on 21st August 2026 was successfully conducted. The visit significantly enhanced students’ understanding of cinema, media, storytelling, communication, creative content, and career opportunities, making it a valuable and memorable learning experience for the BCA Second Year students.
