I.T.S. Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad (UG Campus) successfully organized the Peer Learning Session on Decoding Open Source for BCA Second Year students (Batch: 2025–2028) on 31st July 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Vaibhav Narayan (BCA Batch 2024–2027) under the Peer Learning Initiative. Mr. Vaibhav gained valuable knowledge and practical experience during his journey in ITS starting from 2024. He has consistently shown enthusiasm for learning, sharing and participating in various IT events in college and outside. He has taken an initiative to guide the junior batch and shared his insights that will help them strengthen their understanding in Open Source and also help them in preparing for future opportunities in developing open software. The programme covered Open Source Software, Git, GitHub, collaborative development, contribution workflow, career opportunities, live repository demonstration and an interactive question-answer session. Students enthusiastically participated and gained practical understanding of open-source technologies and collaborative software development.
