
MUN & Debate Club of ITS Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad organized Mock Parliament: A Simulated Political Discourse on National Issues for BBA/BCA II & III Year students with the objective of providing a platform to the students to showcase their leadership qualities, public speaking, and critical thinking skills with respect to national and international issues. Agenda of Mock Parliament: Digital India or Surveillance India? Evaluating the policy framework to counter fake news and misinformation. Sub-Agenda: Deliberation on the effectiveness of India’s policy framework in countering fake news and misinformation, with special emphasis on balancing digital governance and citizen privacy, ethical implications of surveillance, public awareness and digital literacy, and accountability of social media platforms and government interventions.
