12th September 2025, Post -Lunch session An insightful session was organised by IIC cell of Institute of Technology and Science Ghaziabad, by distinguished guest & entrepreneur Mr. Dewansh Poddar, Founder EV Recharge, Driving Sustainable Energy, Ex FITT IIT Delhi-Incubation & Investment on the theme “Sustainable Innovation: Building for People, Planet and Profit. The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey (Director, UG & IT) and Dr. Nancy Sharma (Vice Principal, UG Campus), who extended their best wishes to the students for the beginning of their academic journey. The event began with a warm welcome by faculty coordinators, followed by the introduction of Mr. Dewansh Poddar. Mr. Poddar shared his entrepreneurial journey in the field of EV charging infrastructure and clean energy solutions. He discussed the importance of sustainable business models, where growth is not only profit-oriented but also beneficial to society and the environment. Students were introduced to real-world case studies and focus areas for Start-ups of innovation in the green energy and EV sector, including Busting myths, problem hunt and possible solution check. An interactive Q&A session allowed students to clarify their doubts on entrepreneurship, incubation, and opportunities in sustainable technology. The session received an enthusiastic response from students, who found the talk motivating and future-oriented. They appreciated the opportunity to interact with an accomplished alumnus, and expressed eagerness to explore innovative ideas with social impact.
