Approx. 500 students from BBA and BCA 2nd & 3rd year who had registered for the IIC session and for Placement Readiness Enhancement Program attended the Expert Talk that was led by Mr. Rishabh Agarwal, Director- Xovian Aerospace Technologies, Vadodara, Gujarat. During his session Mr. Rishabh shed light on how AI is transforming the Supply Chain in the EPC Arena. He discussed upon what EPC is, what are the challenges in traditional EPC supply chain, what are long lead items and the procurement and purchase orders are to be planned and prepared for such items. He also shared inputs on material planning and BOM forecasting. He then discussed where all in the world are the EPC equipment made and how the logistics have to be planned, which are the major ports and the supplier hotspots across the world. He also shed light on how route surveys are done for transporting the material and equipment, discussed the INCOTERMS, SOLAS, VGM & Maritime Compliance, role of LSPs in Project Success and later shared inputs on the rise of AI in supply chain focusing on real time logistics viability, digitalization in EPC Documentation and Training. The entire session was very informative and enlightening for the students who were attentive throughout the discussions. The speaker answered to the queries of the students related to hacking of data and how data security can be achieved while using digitalized AI models.
