
The Department of IT at I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized Quantum Computing Day on 16th April 2025 for BCA First and Second Year students. The event aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of the emerging and transformative field of Quantum Computing. The event included two major segments: Poster/3D Model Presentations and PowerPoint Presentations on Quantum Computing topics. These sessions provided students with a platform to showcase their creativity, technical knowledge, and presentation skills. In the Poster/3D Model Presentation, students visually represented quantum computing concepts through models and posters. Judges Prof. Alok Kapil, Prof. Saroj Kumari, and Prof. Shweta Kumar praised the originality and clarity of the displays. The PowerPoint Presentation segment featured well-researched talks on topics such as quantum bits, algorithms, and their applications. Judges Prof. Monika Kansal, and Prof. Shivom Tiwari appreciated the students' confidence and depth of understanding. Students from both years participated with enthusiasm, demonstrating teamwork, critical thinking, and a passion for advanced technology. The event boosted their confidence and encouraged exploration of future tech trends. Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director of I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus, and Dr. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal, commended the students for their commendable efforts, creativity, and active participation, emphasizing the importance of staying aligned with evolving technological advancements.
