I.T.S UG campus is organising a workshop under the aegis of Women Cell ‘She- Connect’ for all the three year girl students on the topic “Menstrual Hygiene and Bleeding Patterns” by Dr. Jyoti Bhaskar, Clinical Director, Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Apollo Cradle Hospital , Indirapuram Delhi NCR The objective this workshop is 1. To create awareness and educate on different aspects of Menstrual Health & Hygiene and to instill appropriate information related to menstruation, physiological and psychological changes experienced. 2. To develop and strengthen behavior and attitude to appropriately deal with challenges related to menstruation and handle socio-cultural taboos which make it difficult for girls to openly discuss issues related to menstruation. 3. To release the girls from the sense of shame and embarrassment they feel due to menstruation and to embrace menstruation as a process that is natural and healthy.
