In the pursuit of providing wide exposure to students in the campus & off the campus I.T.S Mohan Nagar has organized a Study tour to National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), Mumbai . The first day of the study tour covered the session on Overview and Careers in Securities Market in which resource person Dr.Shreyas Vyas had explained the working and organization of securities market and it’s importance in the economic growth of the country. He explained that this is the only platform where all the financial instruments like shares , debentures, options , derivatives , bonds , mutual funds etc. are traded. In addition to this speaker also apprised the fact that recently India had became the fourth largest economy in the world which is a sign of strong and well-developed securities market. He also explained various career opportunities such as research analyst, compliance officer etc. in the securities market. He also answered various queries of the students citing practical and real time examples. Students enjoyed the session a lot by having gainful insights of the financial growth of the country through securities market.
