To enhance knowledge and to give exposure of recent Technology Trends in Supply Chain Management, a video conferencing session was conducted on “Technology Trends in Supply Chain Management” for BBA II & VI Semester students. The resource person was Mr. Jitendra Kumar Singh, AGM, Indorama Polychem, Indonesia. The speaker emphasised that the supply chain process is constantly evolving. Technology is being used in all stages of SCM across the world. He talked about “Just-in-time” technique being used by Japan very effectively. Companies like Walmart, Zara and Reliance use latest technology like Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) effectively in SCM.
