Description: The Combined Quiz Competition aimed to enhance students’ conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and interdisciplinary learning by integrating key subjects from their first-year curriculum. The two-hour activity, conducted from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, provided a dynamic and engaging platform for students to apply classroom knowledge in a competitive environment. The quiz covered multiple subjects from the BCA curriculum, including Computer Fundamentals, Environmental Studies (EVS), Mathematical Foundation for Computer Science-I (MFSC), Capability Enhancement Training (CET), and Problem Solving Techniques (PST). The quiz was structured to test students’ comprehension through multiple-choice, short-answer, and rapid-fire rounds, promoting quick thinking, accuracy, and teamwork. Questions were designed to evaluate students’ grasp of fundamental computing concepts, environmental awareness, mathematical reasoning, communication skills, and professional development aspects. The event encouraged participants to think critically, analyse information under time pressure, and collaborate effectively. It also fostered a healthy spirit of competition among students, motivating them to expand their knowledge base and strengthen their problem-solving abilities. Purpose and Learning Outcomes: The activity was designed to:  Reinforce foundational knowledge across core first-semester subjects.  Promote analytical and logical reasoning abilities.  Encourage collaboration, communication, and teamwork among students.  Instil a sense of academic curiosity and confidence through experiential learning. Students actively participated in the quiz with enthusiasm and showcased strong subject knowledge, quick response skills, and competitive spirit. The event reflected the department’s commitment to interactive and student-centred learning approaches, ensuring overall academic and intellectual growth.
