


Day 1 The first day of the Six-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on AI Data- Driven Pedagogy for Techno-Management Education commenced with a warm welcome and opening address by Dr. Nancy Sharma, Principal, UG Campus and FDP Convener. Sheemphasized on the importance of NEP 2020, continuous faculty development, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education. She expressed her gratitude to Vice Chairman, I.T.S-The Education Group, Shri. Arpit Chadha Sir for his continuous encouragement in all the endeavours of ITS UG Campus. The first technical session, & NEP 2020 Overview and Role of Artificial Intelligence in Education,was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Amita Dev, who discussed the key reforms of NEP 2020 and highlighted the transformative role of AI in teaching, research, assessment, and academic administration. She also emphasized the ethical and responsible use of AI in education. The second technical session, AI-Powered Teaching & Learning Pedagogy, Prof. (Dr.) B. K. Jha, focused on the practical use of AI tools for lesson planning, content creation, assessment, and student engagement. Participants were introduced to various AI platforms and effective prompt engineering techniques for enhancing teaching and learning. The sessions provided valuable insights into AI-enabled pedagogy and strengthened participants' understanding of technology-driven education. The inaugural day concluded with active interaction and discussions, inspiring faculty members to adopt innovative and ethical AI practices in alignment with NEP 2020 and Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
