Description: I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus hosted an enlightening guest lecture by Prof. Vikas Nain, Co-founder - The Triad, who delivered an engaging session on how sustainability and technology are transforming the landscape of modern marketing. The session began with an address by Prof. Adil Khan, Chairperson-BBA, who motivated the students to make the most of such opportunities. He highlighted the importance of attending guest lecturers that connect classroom concepts with industry realities and encouraged students to actively engage and learn from the expert’s experiences. Prof. Vikas Nain began the session by explaining the concept of Eco-Digital DNA, emphasizing how marketing professionals must integrate sustainable values into their strategies to remain relevant in a conscious and competitive marketplace. He encouraged students to see themselves as personal brands, highlighting that every individual today represents a unique combination of skills, values, and social impact. He guided students on how to effectively portray themselves as brands through professional platforms like LinkedIn, maintaining consistency between their online persona and real-world actions. He further discussed how personal branding goes beyond professional achievements; it reflects a person’s ethical mindset, social awareness, and environmental responsibility. He stressed that future marketers must balance profitability with purpose, promoting products and services that are not only appealing but also environmentally responsible. Prof. Nain’s talk also covered key digital aspects, including LinkedIn profile optimization, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and the use of AI in digital marketing, explaining how these tools can help students position themselves effectively in a competitive job market. Drawing from real-world business examples, he illustrated how leading global brands are successfully integrating sustainability into their core marketing strategies, setting new benchmarks for responsible business conduct. The lecture concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students actively discussed ideas about sustainable marketing and personal growth in the digital era. The session was coordinated by Prof. Purnima Raina and was graced by Prof. Adil Khan, Chairperson-BBA, who appreciated the initiative and emphasized that sustainability and ethics are now central to every successful marketing strategy.
