The motive behind this guest lecture was to make familiar our students about Client Server Environment and its practical applicability in different domains. Mr. Amit Arora, Associate Vice President, Royal Bank of Scotland, Gurgaon was the speaker of the session. He gave an overview about Client Server Technology to students. He also briefed the students about the client server architecture, types of server, components of client server environment, difference between client server computing & distributed computing etc. He has sighted some real time examples related to Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook etc. to give clarity about the concept. Through discussion students got to know various advantages and challenges related to implementation of client server environment. The overall session was informative for the students and their queries were addressed by the speaker.
