The objective of this visit was to know about dental problems and role of IT in field of medical. The overall visit was divided in to three sessions.In the first session students were introduced about oral health which is a key indicator of overall health, well-being and quality of life. Students got to know about oral infection and sores, periodontal disease, tooth decay, tooth loss etc., which limit an individual's capacity in biting, chewing, smiling, speaking.. After that students attended a session on CAD/CAM and its role in curing dental diseases. Students also visited the CBCT centre of advance scanning where they learnt about how software is playing vital role in 3d scanning ,virtual implant planning, checking of bone quality. Dr. Aashvi gave a demo about all these techniques to students. Further, Dr. Aashvi said that oral diseases are largely preventable by regular home oral care and preventive dental visits which help in the early detection and treatment of oral diseases. Students asked numerous questions related to virtual implant, slicing, bridging, and pressure of tooth. Overall this visit was very informative for the students
