
Day- 2 (September 9, 2025) Introduction of Faculty Introduction to Courses & Faculty Members Professor (Dr.) Vidushi Singh, Chairperson of the BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) program, welcomed the new students and gave them a detailed introduction to the BCA course structure and syllabus. She also introduced the BCA faculty members, highlighting their expertise and commitment to guiding students throughout their academic journey. Dr. Neeraj Jain, Coordinator – 1st Year BCA, further elaborated on the course syllabus, extracurricular activities, foreign language options, value-added programs, and international study tours. He encouraged students to actively participate in these opportunities as they play a significant role in overall personality development and professional readiness. Professor Adil Khan, Chairperson of the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) program, introduced the students to the BBA course syllabus and outlined its relevance in preparing them for the corporate world. He also presented the BBA faculty members, appreciating their dedication and contribution toward nurturing future managers and entrepreneurs. Dr. Anubha Srivastava, Coordinator- 1 st Year BBA, extended a warm welcome to the new batch of BBA students. She motivated them to remain focused, utilize the resources provided by the institute, and maintain a balance between academics and extracurricular activities for holistic growth. Dr. Siddharth Kaul and Prof. Nisha Bansal introduced the foreign language courses offered to second-year students of the BBA and BCA programs, namely French and German. They highlighted that in today’s globalized world, proficiency in an additional language has become a valuable skill that not only enhances employability but also improves students’ ability to work effectively in diverse environments. They further emphasized that these courses provide students with an added advantage during placements and future career opportunities, while also broadening their cultural understanding and global outlook. Dr. Mala Shharma, Clubs and Societies Convener, addressed the newly admitted students at the ITS UG campus and introduced them to the various clubs and societies available. She explained the importance of active participation in these clubs, including the Theatre Club, Dance Club, Fashion Club, Music Club, Sports Club, Marketing Club, and many others. Dr. Sharma also guided the students through the registration process and encouraged them to join according to their interests, highlighting how these platforms contribute to personal growth and vibrant campus life. Following her address, students from the Cultural Club presented a series of lively performances, including group dance, singing, and a band performance. These engaging activities created a joyful and welcoming environment for the freshers, showcasing the creative energy of the student community and leaving a memorable impression on everyone
