The motive behind this Industry visit was to aware the students about the media house working and broadcasting of the show “ Lapete Mein Neta Ji”. The session aimed at providing knowledge though entertainment to the students about changing scenario of political environment and its impact in political parties. 30 Students of BBA & BCA (2nd Sem) visited News-18 to participate in the event “ Lapete Mein Neta Ji” i.e. a News-18 Show. The Guest was, Mr. Sanjay Nirupam an Ex. Member of Indian Parliament from Indian National Congress Party, and former President of the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee. Nirupam served two terms as an MP in the Rajya Sabha first as a member of the Shiv Sena and then from the Congress Party. The anchors and poets were cross-questioned about the various changes in the political environment and economy. The visit was very interesting, and students participated with full of energy and learned about the various ways of workings in the New Channels. The session was interactive with poets and political leaders. Many students asked questions related to the changing scenario of the political environment in India. Students were curious to know how the broadcasting of news was done. It was an energizing show and students loved to be part of that.
