The primary objective of this program was to sensitize the young generation about e-waste and its appropriate disposal. E-waste causes lots of disturbance in the equilibrium of the ecosystem by adding toxins therefore the program was planned to create awareness in the students which are the future of the society. The program started with the welcome of the distinguished guest Dr. Payal Nandurkar (Founder, We- The Recycling Company) by the Master of Ceremony. Dr. Payal in her address discussed what qualified as e-waste and the vivid aspects of E-waste management. She highlighted the problems that occur due to e-waste and the various challenges faced in managing e-waste. She took away the session to the solution of E-waste management. She concluded the session by resolving queries of the students and answered all the queries to utmost satisfaction. Some students also inquired about the business prospects in e-waste management to which the resource person asked them to connect in person with her. All the participants were very keen and enthusiastic during the event.
